Coop and Valencia make for an exciting summer

Coop's collection promotion for this summer is called «Hello Summer,» featuring Nerf products from toy manufacturer Hasbro and other pool accessories. The campaign was designed with a summery theme by Valencia Kommunikation.

Valencia

Those who stay at home this summer don't have to miss out on fun with the new Coop collection campaign. A Nerf beach ball set, a neoprene volleyball, a Super Soaker and a blaster will get boys and young at heart into action. The striped beach towel and the corresponding beach bag are aimed more at adults.

Valencia was responsible for the entire communication of the promotion for "Hello Summer". In addition to visuals and naming, the all-round package included a concerted combination of online measures such as banners and bumper ads with offline measures such as digital out-of-home, TVC, print and various POS advertising media, from promotional displays to carrier bags.

Rethinking because of Corona

During the production of the moving image, special conditions prevailed because of Corona and some ideas could not be implemented as originally planned. Nevertheless, in cooperation with the client, the optimal solution was found. The models were filmed individually on green screen and then digitally stitched together into an animation. The result was a spot in a 25- and a 15-second version, as well as bumper ads and how-to videos.

The Promotion "Hello Summer runs from June 5 to July 18, 2020 in Coop supermarkets as well as Coop City, Coop Bau+Hobby and Coop Restaurant.

Dachcom implements "Forest Diversity" awareness campaign for the FOEN

On behalf of the Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU), Dachcom carried out the «Forest Diversity» campaign. Launched as part of International Biodiversity Day on May 22, the campaign aims to raise awareness of the value of Switzerland’s diverse forests.

Dachcom

Why does Switzerland need healthy, diverse forests? Which plants, animals and fungi find a home in them? And how have their populations developed over the past decades? The FOEN's national "Forest Diversity" campaign provides answers to these and other questions.

Between web and forest

For "Forest Diversity," Dachcom developed a trilingual cross-media campaign. The focus is on the achievements of the Swiss forests and the actual heroes, the "forest dwellers. These are specially staged: In the form of figures made of Swiss wood, they populate forests all over Switzerland. Young and old are invited to find them on a forest discovery tour.

In the associated competition, biodiversity memos and other attractive prizes can be won every month. Background information on the individual animals, plants and fungi can be found on the campaign website at Forest-diversity.ch, Diversité-forestière.ch and Diversità-forestale.ch. It also presents what Swiss forests do for the general public.

Commercials on Swiss television

To bring the campaign closer to the public, Dachcom also implemented various moving image productions. In three national languages, individual "forest dwellers" present their contributions to the diverse life in the forest. The videos and short spots can be seen on the web, on television, and also on passengerTV on public transport. In addition, there is a social media campaign that calls on the entire population to show the most beautiful sides of their forest.

The "Forest Diversity" campaign was launched as part of International Biodiversity Day on May 22. The focus is on the lives of individual "forest dwellers" and their services to biodiversity.

Ricola is the most trusted brand 2020

Herbal candy manufacturer Ricola has once again come out on top against its competitors, winning the «Promarca Brand of the Year 2020» award this year, just as it did in 2017.

Ricola

Havas Switzerland, in collaboration with Management Tools Research, surveyed the most dynamic and trusted brands in Switzerland. Consumers voted Ricola the most trusted brand among Promarca members.

Ricola already won the "Brand of the Year" award in 2017. "Ricola is not only the most trusted brand in the Brand Predictor 2020, but is also one of the big winners among all 421 brands surveyed," Nathalie Diethelm, CEO Havas Worldwide Switzerland, is quoted as saying. "After the cancellation of the 'Who Invented It' communicative platform in 2013, Ricola's momentum suffered somewhat. In recent years, however, Ricola has managed to regain its former strength through a strong presence, communicatively but also in retail, as well as through clever product development and diversification. Ricola convinces with a high consistency of the brand promise and continuously builds on its strengths and meets the zeitgeist and taste of consumers with its product developments."

Actually, the "Promarca Brand of the Year" should have been awarded on the day of the brand, which would have taken place on Thursday. However, due to the Corona crisis, the event was canceled. (pd/swi)

Havas Switzerland, in collaboration with Management Tools Research, has surveyed the most dynamic and trustworthy brands in Switzerland. The study, which is representative of the population, was conducted this year among 3,213 people in German- and French-speaking Switzerland and covers a total of 421 brands.

Franz&René warns of summer storms

Summer thunderstorms can have consequences for buildings. However, the general public often underestimates the danger. The prevention campaign VorDemSturm.ch, which Franz&René developed for the cantonal building insurance companies (ECA) of Vaud, Fribourg, and Neuchâtel, aims to counteract this.

Franz&René

The communication concept is all about the unexpected. A thunderstorm always takes you by surprise. The von spots surprise the audience like a thunderstorm. In a flash, they show the material damage storms can cause if the necessary steps are not taken before and during the storm. A flooded basement, broken porches or blinds: it happens in a flash. But if you prepare properly, you can sit back and relax.

Seven tips worth knowing

The three spots have been on TV and online since the beginning of June. Other measures such as Meteo sponsorship, social media and programmatic reinforce the campaign. The measures refer to BeforeTheStorm.ch. The landing page lists the most important measures to take when a storm is approaching in order to avoid damage. An interactive website picks up on the campaign concept: black-and-white illustrations that play with light and contrasts, and individual red elements common to all four ECAs. Internet users will find tips worth knowing and can also download an app.

The coronavirus crisis has slowed down the global economy at full speed, but Germany could get off lightly thanks to its sound budgetary policy. Right? Wrong, says Daniel Stelter and makes it clear: the economy has been paralyzed for a long time, "zombie" companies are haunting the country and, compared to the Italians, the Germans are the poor relation. The author makes unorthodox suggestions for reconstruction after corona: Germany should not fight the foreseeable monetization of debt, but embrace it. Suan and Dreifive realize virtual anniversary tour for Sens eRecycling

Suan Conceptual Design and Dreifive are creating a virtual tour of seven Swiss cities for Sens eRecycling - called Sens City. The jointly conceived campaign aims to raise awareness of Sens' Switzerland-wide take-back system for used electrical and electronic appliances.

Suan

With the virtual "Sens City" anniversary tour, Sens would like to thank the partners who guarantee professional disposal, as well as all consumers who dispose of their e-waste correctly. Sens eRecycling will be visiting contract partners, collection points and recycling partners in Zurich, St. Gallen, Bern, Zermatt, Lausanne, Basel and Olten. The general public is also invited to take part in the virtual anniversary tour.

Interviews and a documentary film

The campaign includes videos on the various topics that are particularly topical in the seven cities. There are also interviews with the contractual partners, the operators of the collection points and the recyclers. A large documentary film shows the successes of eRecycling in Switzerland in recent years in five episodes.

Awareness through reach

The main aim of the campaign is to generate a wide reach - because the more people who support eRecycling, the better it is for the environment. Attractive prizes can be won at each location during the tour. The relevant target group is addressed credibly and directly with facts.

Sens eRecycling, Suan Conceptual Design and Dreifive designed the virtual tour together. The campaign is played out via social media, SEA, display and video advertising. The advertising material for the digital anniversary tour is adapted to the relevant region and can also be targeted there using geo-targeting.

The ads focus on regional content marketing and infotainment to draw users' attention to this important topic and the regional collection points. As part of the Sens City Tour, there is also an innovative and sustainable scavenger hunt via WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, where users can reach the collection points and win prizes as well as valuable information on the topic of eRecycling via a Messenger quiz.

Fifa Museum strengthens digital presence with Dept.

The Zurich-based agency Dept is providing strategic and operational support to the FIFA World Football Museum in the areas of digital marketing, website relaunch, and social media community management. As a result, the museum—which was temporarily closed during the lockdown—is strengthening its digital presence and becoming even more accessible online to visitors and interested parties.

Museum

After a multi-stage pitch, the Fifa World Football Museum in Zurich, a 1001TP3 subsidiary of Fifa, awarded the agency three project contracts. Dept was awarded the contract because of its proven full-funnel approach, in which the various services work together. But also because of the addition of its strategic strength and expertise in implementation.

A digital marketing strategy for the coming years

Specifically, the teams from Dept and the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich are working on developing a digital marketing strategy for the coming years. The relaunch of the website, which is being implemented by Dept, is also planned for the beginning of July.

The museum remained accessible on social media during the lockdown and is being supported in an advisory capacity for communication on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube in the current crisis situation. In addition, a strategy with specific recommendations for action is being developed, thanks to which community management on social media can be implemented even better and more efficiently in future.
