Heimat Zürich and Bank Cler celebrate the great potential of small money
Bank Cler celebrates the great potential of small money. Home underlines this in the new investment campaign for the bank.

Everyone knows the saying "He who does not honor the centime is not worth the franc. But Bank Cler also believes that the franc itself deserves more appreciation. Because although everyone knows the "Einfränkler" and uses it constantly in everyday life - we hardly pay any attention to it as "small change". And yet we underestimate what this small, silvery coin contains.
Asset investment for all
At Bank Cler, 1 franc corresponds exactly to the minimum investment volume for a professional investment solution. An investment by experts is therefore not only reserved for people who already have assets. This is only fair, because especially after the recent upheavals on the stock markets, everyone should be able to take advantage of the attractive long-term opportunities.
Consequently, Bank Cler's new investment campaign proclaims the promising message that every penny is an opportunity, and focuses on the single franc with a series of subjects.
In addition to posters and advertisements, the wide-ranging communication measures also include films and online banners. The campaign is additionally activated by context-related banners, a special poster campaign, and public reports on the topic.

The PR Factory develops card security prevention campaign
Card fraud is one of the most common types of fraud in Switzerland. The PR Factory, on behalf of the police, developed the nationwide «Card Security» campaign, which raises awareness about the risks associated with using debit and credit cards.

June 9, 2020
With "Card Security" informs the police about the potential dangers of card misuse and provides the public with the most important rules of conduct. The campaign will be used throughout Switzerland over the next three months. The focus will be on the most important prevention measures. At the same time, the campaign will also use testimonials to raise awareness.
Flexible implementation required
The "Card Security" campaign includes many different measures such as video messages for social media, posters, giveaways, brochures and online advertising. In addition, there are ATMs where passers-by are shown how quickly card misuse can occur. "Different means of communication will be used depending on the police force," says Andrea Miolo-Eberhard, agency manager at The PR Factory. "We had to make the campaign as flexible as possible so that each corps can use what can be used best on site."
Targeting older people
Card misuse can happen to anyone. And the responsibility practically always lies with the cardholder. The simplest rules of conduct, such as covering the PIN, not writing it down or not being distracted at ATMs, are usually simply ignored. This is also the biggest challenge in prevention work. "Basically, it's about anchoring in people's minds what everyone already knows but nobody does," says Miolo-Eberhard.
Another challenge is that older people in particular are often victims of card fraud. This is despite the fact that they have been using debit and credit cards for decades and nothing has ever happened to them. The only thing that often helps here is personal education from experts or examples from those affected. This is precisely why it is important that the campaign is very broadly supported both online and via social media as well as with print products and giveaways.
The campaign was launched at the beginning of June 2020 and will run throughout Switzerland until the end of the summer.

This is how dominant the virus is in our online shopping cart
The COVID-19 pandemic has completely changed our shopping habits. An animated analysis by Digitec Galaxus shows how demand for face masks, gardening tools, and home office equipment has evolved since the beginning of the year.

Lockdown, distance rules, disinfectants in the supermarket: the coronavirus has turned our lives upside down. An evaluation by Digitec Galaxus now shows for the first time how dominant the pandemic is in our shopping carts. For this, the online retailer has compared the weekly sales of over 2000 product groups since the beginning of January with the respective week in the previous year. The top 10 products with the greatest percentage sales growth at Digitec and Galaxus reads like a drama in eight acts.
Week 1: The calm before the wave
News of a new type of viral disease in faraway China has spread through the media. In the shopping cart, this is hardly noticeable yet: Digitec and Galaxus customers are buying 23 times as many used cell phones as in the first week of 2019 - apparently a new trend. And they are pleased that the range of sweets has been expanded.
Week 4: Something is brewing
On January 13, the first infection outside China is confirmed in Thailand. On January 23, the first officially reported case outside Asia follows in the USA. At the end of January, the first Swiss consumers get an inkling of the seriousness of the situation and stock up on disinfectant and masks as a precautionary measure. At the end of January, Digitec Galaxus sells 114 times as many masks and 66 times as much disinfectant as in the previous year. Most of the supplies are quickly sold out.
As of now, erotic articles are experiencing a boom; from provocative panties and corsages to love toys, lubricants and condoms. The reason for this is probably the emergence of social distancing: We are spending more time at home - whether alone or as a couple.
Week 8: The virus reaches Switzerland
On February 25, the first Swiss resident tests positive for SARS-CoV-2 in Ticino, and more follow daily. Now it's blow after blow: on February 28, the Federal Council bans large events with more than 1,000 people. The Swiss now buy even more disinfectants; in total 140 times as much as in the previous year. The first employees go into the home office - and put a letter tray on their office desk for the sake of order. Keyboards, computer mice, webcams and the like are also selling like hot cakes.
Week 9: The beginning of the hoarding purchases
On March 1, the Federal Council launches its campaign "How to protect ourselves" with recommendations on hygiene and distance. The media are now reporting incessantly on the latest developments. The Swiss are now hoarding food - at Galaxus, for example, pasta or nut bars. And they are already preparing for really tough times with a camping stove.
Week 11: Mountains of toilet paper
On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) classified the event as a pandemic. Now the Swiss are hoarding toilet paper: more than 90 times as much of it is sold at Digitec Galaxus this week - a record. The masks and disinfectants added to the range are going almost faster than Digitec Galaxus can stockpile them.
Week 12: I need a haircut!
On March 16, the government decides on a lockdown: restaurants, bars, clubs and many stores will be closed with immediate effect - including hair salons. Quickly, many can no longer stand it with their mane - and lend a hand themselves with their new hair scissors. The trend will intensify in the coming weeks.
The lockdown has resulted in an enormous rush at Digitec Galaxus: In mid-March, it takes an average of three days longer than usual for orders to reach the online retailer's customers. In the following two weeks, it therefore strengthens its logistics with over 200 new workers, gradually reducing the backlog. In customer service, too, the retailer can barely keep up with all the requests.
Week 13: I can't stand it in this apartment anymore!
Half of Switzerland now works from home. We spend so much time in our own four walls that the stains on the walls, the scratched wooden table or the gray grout are getting on our nerves more and more. With their newfound time at home, the Swiss start renovation work - and many a person becomes a musician, a gardener or a painter. Mouth masks are now completely out of stock at Galaxus.
Week 18: We meet behind acrylic glass
In mid-April comes the trend of acrylic partitions. These are especially popular with companies whose employees can not work in the home office. Because from April 27 hairdressing salons are allowed to reopen, hair scissors are now hardly in demand.
Week 20: The mask supply comes
The Federal Council has decided on further relaxations: Since May 11, for example, restaurants can serve guests again under certain conditions. In addition, all retailers are now allowed to open their doors again. And Digitec Galaxus is finally receiving a larger supply of mouth masks. In wholesale, however, it's still like the Wild West. National and international news prepared and simply explained for children will be available weekly in "SRF Kids News" from June 12, 2020. The presenter trio Michel Birri, Raphael Labhart and Joana Mauch will take turns presenting the new format every Friday on the YouTube channel SRF Kids and on Play SRF. On Saturdays, "SRF Kids News" is broadcast on TV on SRF 1 shortly before noon. The focus is on topics that affect children and those that are worth knowing about. There is no way it will be boring. As with adult news, the repertoire ranges from Brexit to climate demonstrations to the birth of the rhinoceros at the zoo.
"SRF Kinder News" is designed to help children better understand current events. Stefanie Theil, Senior Producer from Family, explains: "With our new format, we want to awaken interest in primary school children for what's happening in their own country and around the world, and support parents who want to discuss current topics with their youngest."
At the heart of "SRF Kinder News" is an animated explainer piece that briefly highlights a new topic for children each week in an age-appropriate way. In polls on selected topics, the children themselves have the opportunity to express their opinions directly.
Publicis and Migros show the particularly appreciated neighborhood assistance

Just one week after the national shutdown on 16 March, Migros and Pro Senectute relaunched their social shopping platform Amigos, which was discontinued in 2019, as a neighborhood help for people from at-risk groups.
Since then, volunteers have made over 50,000 purchases for mostly elderly people. Their gratitude and appreciation has been extraordinary. Migros is now showing just how great in a new campaign. In it, people from at-risk groups express their gratitude in a special way for the purchases made by the volunteers.
On June 6, the Federal Council relaxed the recommendations for people at risk. However, the social shopping platform Amigos is still available for people from at-risk groups.

Heads develops Amag chronicle with a look into the mobility future

The company's 75-year history includes many groundbreaking decisions. For example, the early entry into electronic data processing, logistical decisions, a forward-looking real estate strategy, the entry into the car financing business, the development of an extensive garage network and successful investments in other business areas. All this is recounted in the Amag Chronicle, which was published to mark the anniversary.
Since a successful history is no guarantee of a successful future, Amag is interested in future-oriented analyses. The chronicle therefore concludes with contributions from mobility experts at ETH Zurich: Professors Kay Axhausen, Christofer Onder and Konstantinos Boulouchos express their views on the climate-friendly mobility of tomorrow.

With the UBS Kids Cup, UBS is positioning itself with a great deal of tact among families with kids, mastering the delicate balancing act between marketing, sports, local municipal authorities and school administrations. The UBS Kids Cup is designed to give all 7- to 15-year-olds access to athletics and to ensure the systematic promotion of young athletics talent.
A sustainable marketing initiative, live communications, a world-class partnership, a national event series, corporate volunteering and 360-degree marketing networking were used to get families and children excited about the sport of athletics.
In numbers: 8 times in a row the participant record was broken, +9% more participations in the last two years. In 2019, the 1 millionth participant start was also celebrated, a 12% Consideration increase among UBS non-clients was recorded. The results are also convincing from a sporting point of view. Thanks to the UBS Kids Cup young stars, Swiss Athletics celebrated the most successful U21/U23 European Championships so far in terms of sport, with 9 medals, and achieved an increase of 128% in new licenses for the U18 girls' athletics.

Bank Cler: "Zak - Banking only needs a smartphone." (Category: New New & Media Performance)
The launch campaign for Bank Cler's mobile banking tool Zak won two silver Effie Awards. The results were convincing in both the "New New" and "Media Performance" categories.
Bank Cler launched Zak, Switzerland's first true mobile banking service. The challenge: Swiss bank customers are extremely lazy about switching. Zak was completely unknown as a new product, and the only way to become a Zak customer was to download the app. Therefore, efficient communication was central to success. The campaign positioned Zak as an everyday tool of the smartphone age and - together with the product - continuously evolved. The agile marketing process, based on constant testing and optimization, created the potential that the communication successfully exploited: with over 30,000 customers just two years after launch, the campaign exceeded all expectations.
To transform itself from a charter airline to a true travel brand, Edelweiss needs to move away from sales communications and bring its brand positioning to life for diverse target groups. The solution: the travel battle cry "Been there. Done that." forms the central idea of the campaign, which is staged as a multifaceted inspiration catalog.
Target-group-specific design and control of the measures enable communication tailored to individual travel motives, which guarantees a high level of involvement from classic channels to live com and the AR app. The result is that Edelweiss becomes the brand for vacations.

New campaign of Ticino Turismo welcomes back the guests
The multi-phase campaign for Ticino Turismo, conceived by Zimmermann Communications, is entering its third phase. Now Ticino welcomes its guests with “#benvenuti”—come discover the exotic world of Ticino today.
Editorial
-
June 9, 2020
After the urgent call in March this year to stay at home and not to go to Ticino even over the holidays, at the beginning of May, after the first relaxations became known, the #seeyousoon campaign was launched to inspire and plan the next visit and vacation in Ticino.
Now, after the latest relaxations at the beginning of June, the time has finally come: mountain railroads, camping, hotels, museums, restaurants and much more is open again.
In its latest campaign, Ticino shows that it has more to offer than just being Switzerland's sunshine capital. Hawaii, Rio, Bermuda, Bali, Mexico, Oman, Down Under, the Highlands or the Napa Valley are all located in Ticino. So there's no reason to travel far abroad when exoticism is so close by.
For user involvement, the agency has designed a postcard creator that converts the subjects of the poster campaign into postcards and with which you can send your friends postcards from Hawaii, Bermuda, Mexico - or Ticino, respectively - via Whatsapp, e-mail or Facebook.
The agency implemented this idea in a cross-media campaign with a broad mix of measures. The basis is again a film that begins with what signals the start of every Ticino vacation: the exit from the tunnel and the view of Mediterranean nature. The film is complemented by a broad-based poster campaign that uses eight subjects to show that you don't have to travel abroad to experience the exotic.
This mix of measures is supplemented by a performance campaign aimed at specific target groups with the aim of directly triggering bookings by means of target-group-specific offers.
All measures link to the landing page Ticino.ch/benvenuti, which picks up on the subjects and themes of the exotic campaign and where interested guests can find 20 percent offers on selected hotels as well as special packages and a variety of inspiring ideas for their stay in Ticino.
For Manuela Nicoletti, Marketing Director of Ticino Turismo, the aim of this broad campaign is to implement the uniqueness of Ticino in such a way that both people who have already been to Ticino several times and new guests feel addressed and motivated to visit Ticino and book their next stay. True to the motto: #benvenuti - discover the exotic world in Ticino.
The campaign runs in German and French-speaking Switzerland, on TV, social and digital media, and is supported with posters and PR.

Orangina and Die Werbekanzlei reflect on home and wanderlust
The advertising agency has created a world for the "I love" limited edition for Orangina for the second time this year. The year 2020 has a special focus: travel.

June 9, 2020
In times of corona, family and home mattered even more than usual. Once you're stuck, you realize what you miss most. Be it the grandparents in England, the annual vacation in Italy or the sister in France. But many people have also realized how nice we have it here in Switzerland. That's why this year's Limited Edition is all about home and wanderlust. The representative countries "Switzerland", "England", "France", "Spain", "Portugal", "Italy" and "Germany" were each given a bottle, on which the most beautiful memories of the countries can be found in the form of small illustrations.
The campaign based on this continues to revolve around precisely this topic. The most important component is a competition with the motto "Win now. Travel later". 30 Swiss or SBB vouchers worth CHF 500 will be raffled off, with the winner deciding for themselves how they want to travel and when. Because this is primarily about the longings that you feel, especially after months at home. Orangina also wants to promote sustainable travel by train and encourage trips within Switzerland.
The campaign is designed for online, where many elements are playfully combined. The animated spots are distributed on various platforms such as YouTube, 20min.ch and Blick.ch. Together with the media agency, an efficient media plan was developed that aims to achieve reach. The more playful content on social media is produced together with Monami and is designed to make the community smile.
However, the campaign also covers other touchpoints. Despite the digital focus, the campaign is also used at the point of sale.
