The House starts cooperation with Piega Switzerland

The House will now be supporting the hi-fi company Piega Switzerland in various communication initiatives.

Piega Switzerland

Piega speakers stand for sound characteristics that are second to none, as well as outstanding aesthetic design. In addition to the sound technology, which is completely handmade, the brand is also known for its elaborately manufactured aluminum housings. The company is based in Horgen with two manufactories directly on Lake Zurich.

The House supports Piega in various communication measures, including strategy, creation and execution as well as the marketing approach and content planning. The first work will be seen in spring 2021.

YouTube will soon become an e-commerce platform

YouTube users will soon be able to shop directly on the video platform. Influencers are expected to tag the products that appear in their content.

Plattform

Tagging allows content to be linked to e-commerce tools from YouTube parent company Google. For example, viewers of "unboxing videos" in which a new product is taken out of its packaging could immediately buy it themselves.

Control at producers

A YouTube spokesperson confirmed to Bloomberg current testing of e-commerce features with a limited number of video channels. Producers would have control over which products appear in their content. YouTube should thus become a large e-commerce platform where users can buy everything they see, he said.

In addition to the possibility of shopping directly on YouTube, the company also plans to cooperate with the e-commerce app "Shopify". The application is to be connected to the platform. Producers will thus be able to offer products in an image carousel below their videos, creating another opportunity for users to make purchases.

Google focuses on e-commerce

Google wants to focus more on e-commerce. So far, the tech giant has tended to advertise for other providers, but in the Corona crisis, marketing budgets have become much tighter, while online commerce is flourishing. YouTube is set to become the flagship for Google's e-commerce offering and take on Amazon and the like. (pte)

Jung von Matt/Limmat for Emmi: All good things come in threes

For Emmi's Pur yogurt, Jung von Matt/Limmat stages the number three in a wide variety of ways. The campaign starts at the beginning of October online and on TV.

Emmi

Switzerland is the land of the number three. The three Confederates swear the historic oath with three fingers on the Rütli, we greet each other - at least so far - with three kisses, have the Three Lakes Country and save our pension in the 3rd pillar. So it's only logical that Emmi's Yogurt Pure should also consist of three ingredients - yogurt, fruit and a little sugar.

An ode to the Helvetic

This is the story Emmi and Jung von Matt/Limmat tell in the current spot, which has been broadcast in German and French since Monday. It was shot in the summer of 2020 in reportage style on a tour of the whole of Switzerland and with director and ex-Deville writer Patrick Karpicenko. The campaign and the product thus combine the thoroughly Swiss.
A bias for the yogurt

Insights from the collaboration between Jung von Matt/Limmat and Prof. Dr. Johanna Gollnhofer's team on cognitive biases were incorporated into the conception of the spot. (Werbewoche.ch reported). As part of the "Bias-Based Creativity" offer, the extent to which biases can be used for marketing communication on Emmi's Pur yogurt was examined.

The result is the cognitive bias of unusual and thus attention-grabbing contexts. This is because an unusual context helps us to remember information better. "In the case of Pur yogurt, we thus placed the product in the context of surprising things whose common denominator is the number three. We know from research that this can increase the recall of a piece of information by several percentage points," says Christian Omlin, Strategist at Jung von Matt/Limmat and part of the Bias-Based Creativity team. "In addition, of course, there is also the anchoring of the three-part dictum from the packaging to the campaign. That again pays additional dividends in terms of recognition at the POS," adds Omlin.

Heads and the Zurich museums think: "You belong in the museum".

The Zurich Museums Association is convinced that everyone—truly everyone—can find something that resonates with them among Zurich’s diverse museums. In the association’s current campaign, Heads takes this conviction very literally.

Zürcher Museen

"Discover the museums and find yourself." This the campaign approach, for which photos from the museums were to provide the proof. While researching images for the campaign, Heads graphic designer Marco Martoglio was caught up with reality: In the National Museum, he suddenly found himself standing in front of a hundred-year-old "I" and realized that the campaign idea was not an advertising exaggeration. He had not only found himself, but unexpectedly became the first campaign subject.

Heads found other "doppelgangers" in the Succulent Collection, Museum Haus Konstruktiv, Nonam and Kulturama Museum des Menschen. "We would be delighted if many more Zurichers were to wander through our museums for such discoveries and thus find themselves," says Nicole Mayer, managing director of the Association of Zurich Museums.

The campaign launches Thursday will be used on F4 billboards, hanging posters on public transit, ads and on social media.

Ewz and TBS relaunch "Powernewz" digital magazine

Ewz is relaunching its «powernewz» content platform with a data-driven editorial concept and a fresh new design. TBS developed the content and visual concept.

pwernwz_ch

The energy industry is in a state of upheaval, and Ewz, the electricity company of the city of Zurich, wants to play an active role in shaping this change. The content strategy newly developed for this purpose takes into account all Ewz market and stakeholder requirements. Social relevance was chosen as the most important yardstick for the redesign of the platform. Powernewz.ch defined.

The goal is to make the multifaceted ewz brand experience a digital experience via relevant content. This means reversing the inside-out approach even more consistently and focusing more consistently on readers' interests on the basis of data. For editorial planning, usage data and interests are matched with strategically important Ewz topics and projects.

Variety of topics and contemporary look

The result is a new kind of online magazine with an editorial concept that has transformed itself from a former specialist blog into a topic-setter magazine for sustainability and innovation.

TBS developed the new content and visual concept for it. The magazine was also reorganized editorially and a team of freelance journalists, photographers and illustrators from Switzerland, Austria and New York was assembled.

Data-based article planning, target group-centered playout

For topic planning, user data is matched with the topics defined as strategically relevant. The relevance and quality of the content are continuously tracked and improved to support target achievement and build audiences. The content is adapted to the target group and channel and played out on an individualized basis for each advertising channel. Their success is measured by means of performance and A/B tests, which also allows conclusions to be drawn about other ewz campaigns and cost optimization.

Build and inspire readership

Content and technical search engine optimization should continuously improve organic visibility in order to provide interested parties with the right answers to their questions - and of course to reduce ad spending. Targeted advertising of articles via the company's own social media channels and via programmatic and search ads should also increase the reach of the content.

The result is a content data machine that also permanently supplies the new Ewz newsroom with relevant topic interests and audience insights.

Wirz advertises Swica with over-motivated testimonials

Swica: a company that has been shown to have the most satisfied customers. And it promotes this by having those very customers speak positively about the company on camera: that’s exactly how mundane, boring advertising works. Or maybe not, as Wirz’s current campaign shows.

Swica

A young woman from Graubünden, a pensioner with a dog, a father from Ticino and a young couple all talk enthusiastically about their health insurance: That doesn't exactly sound like a creative campaign.

But when the statements are as exuberant as they are here, and the company itself puts them into perspective with disarming honesty and the phrase "No customer talks about us like that," then both attention and entertainment value increase.

Not taking yourself too seriously

Four films and corresponding radio spots form the core of the campaign, which has been running since Monday. In addition to the videos in various online formats, display banners, large-scale video branding formats and various social media ads, including a contest on Swicalove.ch the campaign.

Spina's Civil Voices: Corporate responsibility is a matter of course

At the heart of Spinas Civil Voices’ campaign for the Responsible Business Initiative lies a value that is widely shared in our society: whoever causes harm should be held liable for it.

Spinas Civil Voices

The referendum slogans briefly tell the stories of proven cases in which companies based in Switzerland have caused damage to people and the environment. But with a new, better ending, to which the moral sensibilities of broad sections of the population say yes: Commodity company liable. Agribusiness is liable. Because that is nothing but right and just.

Jung von Matt/Limmat for Swissmilk: Charles can only dream of this

The latest TV and online ad from Swissmilk and Jung von Matt/Limmat focuses on Swiss cows roaming freely and the fact that some people can only dream of having that much freedom of movement. Take comedian Charles Nguela, for example.

Swissmilk

He dances, performs, does the Worm Wave on the green lawn. Charles enjoys the freedom of movement to the full, Lovely watches the action relaxed. After all, this is everyday life for them. But suddenly something clouds the idyll. An error message brings Charles out of his dream and back into his gray mini-office, where he has fallen asleep on the keyboard. Some can only dream of so much outdoor space, which is part of everyday life for Swiss cows. This is the core message of the new TVC that Jung von Matt/Limmat realized for Swissmilk.

New standard, much sustainability

Part of the campaign is the new sustainable production standard for Swiss milk, which can be awarded with the brand "Swissmilk Green". The brand guarantees that the milk with which the awarded product was produced meets the highest requirements in terms of animal welfare, feeding, regionality and also social aspects.
The spot has been running online and on TV since Monday and will be complemented by an OOH campaign from spring 2021.

Matterhorn is "Poster of the Month

Swissmilk's OOH campaign was currently running with the grass pile in the shape of the Matterhorn. The posters showcase the "mountainous" fresh feed that Swiss cows receive according to the "Swissmilk Green" label. The poster was chosen by APG|SGA as "Poster of the Month" for October.
