Nussbaum keeps its perspective with Serviceplan

Nussbaum offers its customers free webinars on the latest drinking water hygiene guidelines. The digital training program is promoted by Serviceplan Suisse.

Serviceplan

In the fall of 2020, a new era will begin for sanitary planners and installers: the new "W3/E3" guidelines for hygiene in drinking water installations in buildings will then come into force. These are issued by the Swiss Gas and Water Association (SVGW) - and are just as complicated as they sound. Even for professionals.

To ensure that sanitary planners and installers in Switzerland can still see their way through, the drinking water experts at Nussbaum have developed a three-stage drinking water hygiene concept. This is taught in free webinars in German and French - and gives everyone the tools they need for "W3/E3".

The webinars are being promoted with an eye-catching, cross-media campaign by Serviceplan: The focus is on Nussbaum's "crystal-clear" concept, which enables sanitary planners and installers to keep an eye on things at all times. This is symbolized by a striking visual in which a sanitary engineer looks through a glass of water - and his eye thus appears enlarged.

In addition to flyers and POS posters, the B2B campaign is primarily played on digital channels. All advertising media lead to a microsite where interested sanitary planners and fitters can register for the free webinars with just one click.

The acquisition and integration of Schaetz Cro is based on a fundamental approach of Blueglass Interactive: Data-drivenness is firmly rooted in the agency's DNA and is actively applied across all areas, from strategy development to insights from the performance evaluation of ongoing measures. The standalone Digital Analytics division aims to make this data-driven approach even more tangible and firmly rooted. The in-depth competencies in web tracking, web analytics and conversion rate optimization will now also be made available to Blueglass' customers as an independent service.

The collaboration with the specialized agency Schaetz Cro has already been tried and tested for many years. Thus, Blueglass and Schaetz Cro found each other already since 2012 over several routes in an office community and in the cooperation on long-term customer projects.

Galaxus gets off to a subdued start in Germany

Galaxus, a Migros subsidiary, has gotten off to a slow start in Germany. This is reported by the Handelszeitung in its latest issue.

Galaxus

According to a study by the Cologne-based EHI Retail Institute, Galaxus.de generated sales of 14.3 million euros in its first full financial year in 2019. This puts the company in 409th place on the list of the 1,000 largest e-commerce retailers in Germany. The tableau is headed by Amazon.de with sales of over 10 billion euros.

The Swiss parent company does not comment on the figures, as the Handelszeitung writes. However, it is sticking to its ambition of one day becoming the number five in Germany. "The ambition is still there, but we have not defined a date. Galaxus.de is currently experiencing a tailwind in its business performance: "The pandemic is helping our expansion."

Facebook bans ads against vaccinations

The social media company Facebook wants to ban all ads on its pages that speak out against vaccinations. This was announced by the Internet group on Tuesday.

gegen Impfungen

The Corona pandemic shows how important preventive behavior is to protect health, the company emphasized. However, Facebook says it will continue to allow ads that criticize certain measures taken by governments in connection with vaccinations. Research into vaccines against the corona virus is currently underway worldwide.

The operators of the major online networks are repeatedly accused of enabling anti-vaccinationists to spread their messages far and wide. According to its own information, Facebook is now also planning a campaign in the USA to promote flu vaccinations.

Against conspiracy theories

Facebook had also recently taken stronger action against the spread of conspiracy theories on its pages. A scientific study published on Wednesday shows that belief in such completely unsubstantiated theories can significantly reduce willingness to vaccinate.

Surveys were conducted in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain and Mexico. According to the survey, although the majority of people there reject conspiracy theories about the coronavirus, "significant parts" of the population take these false claims at face value, says the study published in the British journal Royal Society Open Science published study.

The most widespread conspiracy theory about the pandemic in these countries is that the new virus was deliberately produced in a laboratory in the Chinese city of Wuhan. The pathogen was first detected in humans in this metropolis of millions. According to the researchers, 22 to 23 percent of respondents in the United Kingdom and the United States believe in this conspiracy theory.

Faith versus vaccines

The study also showed a clear link between belief in conspiracy theories and skepticism about vaccines, said co-author Sander van der Linden. The researchers concluded that, in general, the more respondents adhered to conspiracy theories, the less willing they were to participate in future Corona vaccinations. (SDA)

A special contribution of 850,000 francs is going to the Graubünden Ferien GRF marketing organization. A winter campaign is intended to encourage Swiss nationals who usually spend their winter vacations abroad in the warmth to stay in Graubünden. The coronavirus pandemic continues to place great demands on those involved in tourism, the government wrote in a press release on Wednesday.

The cantonal Department of Economic and Social Affairs is also supporting an offer from the Gastro Graubünden industry association with CHF 294,000. The association offers its members two digital table reservation systems which, among other things, enable guests to be identified.

Furthermore, the Graubünden Tourism Interest Group has been commissioned to hold ten awareness-raising events in various tourist resorts. The aim is to contribute to the optimal preparation of tourism stakeholders for the upcoming winter season.

One million already spoken in May

This is the second time this year that the cantonal government of Graubünden has provided financial support to stimulate demand for tourism. It already spent one million francs on this last May.

The aim was to boost tourism business in the summer and fall. The marketing organization Graubünden Ferien was also the recipient of the special contribution at the time. (SDA)

"Change": Accenture realizes biggest repositioning in ten years

The consulting firm Accenture is launching the «Let There Be Change» campaign and presenting its redefined corporate purpose—developed in collaboration with Droga5.

Wandel

As part of its biggest repositioning in a decade, Accenture today launches a comprehensive brand campaign and unveils its new purpose. Accenture wants to inspire other organizations to see change as an opportunity to create more value for the benefit of society as a whole. For its largest brand campaign to date, "Let there be change", the consulting firm will triple its annual media spend to 90 million US dollars. The campaign symbolizes change, both profound and small. It was developed in collaboration with the agency Droga5, which is part of Accenture Interactive.

"Exponential technological changes were already transforming the way we work and live before COVID-19. But now the impact of the pandemic is taking change to a new level. Companies are being forced to reinvent themselves. Economies and entire industries need to be rebuilt," explains Julie Sweet, Chief Executive Officer of Accenture. "There is only one way to emerge stronger from this crisis: embrace change and ensure that it benefits all clients, employees, shareholders, partners and the community."

To achieve this shared success, Accenture is leading the way in "360-degree value creation", helping clients transform their own organization, redefine their business, retrain employees or become more sustainable. This is the next step after Accenture's focus on new technologies.

New corporate purpose and new brand

Accenture's purpose, to deliver on the promise of technology and human creativity, drives the company's strategy, its priorities and the opportunities it creates for its people. The purpose and brand are based on a formula for market leadership: embracing change and continuously developing the business.

The brand campaign launches simultaneously across all of Accenture's internal and external digital presences - through television and online advertising, including social media campaigns in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The campaign utilizes Accenture's ">" symbol, which has been part of the company logo for more than 20 years and influences every touchpoint.

Simply live well: Wirz communicates for Migros

Migros communicates its messages and topics under the communicative guiding idea "Simply live well". Everyday stories about the residents of an apartment building located next to a Migros branch form the core of the communication concept designed by Wirz.

Migros

The refined "Einfach gut leben" communication platform reflects Migros' long-held core idea of making life a little better for people every day, while also picking up on the trendy theme of "convenience first".

A house full of stories

The new story format shows how the residents of an apartment building experience the smaller and larger challenges of everyday life - and how Migros helps them to master them. The house and the Migros branch right next door are the stage for observations from life. Little stories in which we recognize ourselves.

Migros in a new dress

Wirz is also in the lead for the complete redesign of the new brand identity and the new offer communication. The new Migros brand language is visually reduced and never says more than it has to. The headlines are short, fresh, humorous and carry the central idea in their simplicity. A clear, authentic visual language with a focus on the essential is rounded off by the large typography. The solution is also formally always in the M, in the overarching M-stage on which all product and brand communication takes place.

"Simply live well" positions Migros in the middle of life and in the everyday lives of its customers. In addition, a common thread makes it easier for people to recognize Migros communication with all its messages and to perceive it as consistent and differentiating. The new Migros communication was launched throughout Switzerland at the end of September 2020.

The Graubünden Brand Day will not take place

The uncertain prospects associated with the rising number of cases have led the organizers to question and reassess the holding of the 2020 Trademark Day. On Tuesday, a definitive decision was made not to hold the event this year.

The organization team regrets this cancellation very much, but at the same time looks to the future with confidence, as stated in a press release on Wednesday. After all, postponed is not canceled. Details on the new date and the program will be announced in due course; the topic of "Innovation & Talent" will continue to be a focus of the Brand Day in 2021.

Ruf Lanz

The planned campaign will attract young talent to the ZHAW School of Engineering's info days. The result will be on display in early 2021.
