Feldschlösschen, 20 Minuten Advertising and Picstars toast content cooperation

20 Minuten Advertising and Picstars jointly win the pitch for the content marketing campaign for Feldschlösschen brewery. The aim of the "Free Feelds Good" campaign is to strengthen the beverage segment of non-alcoholic beers.

Feldschlösschen Influencer

With their concept, marketer 20 Minuten Advertising and influencer marketing agency Picstars win the contract for a two-year content cooperation for the alcohol-free beers of the Feldschlösschen brewery. Under the motto "Free Feels Good", the segment of alcohol-free beers is to be brought into focus and its perception as a tasty, refreshing and natural lifestyle drink is to be strengthened.

The campaign, which was already launched in August 2020, includes various content measures in the 20-minute world as well as influencer marketing in addition to classic advertising.

In line with the target group, Swiss influencers Doris Flury, Janosch Nietlispach and Marion Kaelin were recruited as brand ambassadors, who regularly publish stories and feed posts about Feldschlösschen's non-alcoholic beers on their Instagram profiles. The concept is rounded off by targeted market research, the results of which will be used to optimize the further course of the campaign.

Home Zurich and Florida Reklame ensure that something changes

The two agencies, Heimat Zürich and Florida Reklame Berlin, launched the «Nothing will change by itself» campaign, which helps NGOs raise funds for their work in Greek refugee camps.

Heimat

Apart from the short-lived coverage of the fire in Moria, refugees in need no longer dominated the front pages and lead stories of Western European media.

However, the humanitarian catastrophe around and on the Greek islands continues almost unabated. Although most people feel sympathy when confronted with the issue, hardly anyone feels responsible. "Someone will take care of it" is what many people think. You would have to assume that, after all, we are in Europe. The truth, however, is as bad as it is clear: almost nobody is helping. Governments are arguing and squirming, blaming each other.

This is where Heimat Zürich's idea comes in, which was implemented together with Florida Reklame from Berlin. The transnational initiative "Nothing will change by itself" is based on the insight that, unfortunately, nothing will change by itself. A film distributed as a teaser on social media leads to the campaign hub You-change-it.help, which is used to collect donations.

#YouChangeIt: The initiative gains additional reach by having committed celebrities link to the campaign hub on their social media channels in stories and posts.

Heimat

"With 'Nothing will change by itself', we have launched an initiative for which we were able to apply our creativity and energy to an important and acute social issue," explains Nico Ammann, Head of Creative at Heimat Zürich. "We hope that this initiative is just as successful as the campaigns we create for our commercial clients on a daily basis."

All of the money raised will go to three NGOs, which will use it to cover the costs of volunteer aid workers. This enables them to take care of the things in refugee camps that official bodies are often unable to do: Safety, hygiene and other basic needs for a humane existence for helpless people.

The idea for the initiative came about following an appeal from the agencies' private network; Jörg Pannenbäcker, who is involved with various organizations in Greece, brought together the agencies Heimat Zürich and Florida Reklame for the project. The latter is the creative agency and advertising film production company of presenters Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf.

Florida Reklame, Heimat Zürich and Eg+ Düsseldorf, which was responsible for programming the website, financed all development, travel and production costs themselves. The film was shot in Greece.

WhatsApp will offer purchasing via chat in the future

WhatsApp, the messaging service owned by Facebook, will soon allow its users to purchase products directly from a chat. End users will be able to do this using their regular WhatsApp app and won't need to install a second app.

Einkauf

Smaller companies offering goods and services, on the other hand, use a special business app from WhatsApp to respond to customer inquiries.

For larger companies, WhatsApp also offers an interface (API) for customer support systems or inventory management software instead of a smartphone app, which can be used to handle a larger number of customer requests.

WhatsApp Business grows

WhatsApp Business was launched in January 2018. Since then, the service has developed dynamically. According to WhatsApp, more than 175 million people now send messages to a WhatsApp Business account every day.

Among the service's first customers were Vodafone Germany and Spanish airline Iberia, which have so far mainly used WhatsApp chat to respond to customer queries.

WhatsApp Business' interface is also used by startups such as Twillo, MessageBird, Yalochat and Infobip, which use it to offer their own cloud communications platforms for their commercial customers.

WhatsApp COO Matt Idema said the Corona pandemic has made it clear that businesses need fast and efficient ways to serve their customers and make sales: "WhatsApp has become an easy and convenient resource during this time."

The task now, he said, is to expand the service. WhatsApp will expand the possibilities for consumers to find out about available products and make purchases directly from a chat, he said. (SDA)

Scholtysik & Partner: Branding for the ETH AI Center

ETH Zurich is opening its interdisciplinary center of excellence for artificial intelligence. The ETH AI Center brings together AI researchers from academia and industry. Scholtysik & Partner is supporting the new center with branding and design.

Scholtysik & Partner

The ETH AI Center sees itself as a pioneer for trustworthy, widely accessible and inclusive AI systems for the benefit of society. It brings together AI researchers from all ETH disciplines and departments and will partner with the best AI research institutions in Europe and beyond to accelerate progress, support start-ups and industry collaborations. It will also foster the next generation of AI researchers, leaders and entrepreneurs.

The logo illustrates several aspects of the new ETH AI Center: It visualizes the interdisciplinary character through the overlapping circles. These overlaps ensure dynamism and growth, represented by the modulation of the sizes. In addition, the AI community recognizes in the transparent overlapping of layers a reference to the layers in neural networks, a central element of artificial intelligence.

Clearly visible to everyone, the overall shape creates an association with the human brain. In this way, we combine the concept of intelligence with a focus on people. Because despite all the technology, people are at the heart of the ETH AI Center.

Schweiz Tourismus

MySwitzerland.com wins the title of "Master of Swiss Web 2020" and is thus the deserved overall winner of the anniversary edition of the Best of Swiss Web Award Night. The project, commissioned by Switzerland Tourism, was implemented by Hinderling Volkart part of Dept and Unic.

MySwitzerland.com not only convinced many of the approximately 100 expert judges, but also the readers of Netzticker and the audience at the award night. In addition to the title "Master of Swiss Web 2020", the project also won gold in the categories "Creation", "Technology" and "Usability" and silver in the categories "Innovation" and "Marketing".

82 awards in eleven categories

Of the 375 projects submitted, 94 made it onto the shortlist. The jury of around 100 experts selected 12 gold, 29 silver and 41 bronze winners.

The 375 project entries for the award showed how broadly positioned the Swiss digital industry is. There is hardly a sector of the economy that is not represented. And it's not just the big names that dominate. The many small projects show the innovative power of the web industry.

Swissmilk.swiss wins the special "Best of .swiss" award

The special award "Best of .swiss" celebrated its premiere in this edition of Best of Swiss Web. The first buoy in federal red went to the Swiss Milk Producers SMP for the web presence swissmilk.swiss. The project, called "New Recipes for the Digital", was implemented by Hinderling Volkart part of Dept.

In the special category "Best of .swiss", the projects are judged on the basis of their craftsmanship, but also on whether they implement in their visual design and impression the characteristics of innovation, quality and reliability that are considered typically Swiss.

EqualVoice Factor: Women are more visible in Ringier media

The Ringier initiative EqualVoice, launched last year, is committed to increasing the visibility of women in media coverage. The Factor measures how frequently women appear in articles published by Ringier media outlets. According to an initial assessment, the visibility of women in Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland publications is trending positively.

Ringier

Using a semantic algorithm developed by Ringier, the visibility of women in the online contributions of the media brands of Ringier and Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland is measured. This results in two objective key figures: Firstly, the "Teaser Score", which evaluates the visibility of women in images, headlines and titles. And secondly the "Body Score", which shows how often women and men are mentioned in the article text.

The online offerings of View, Observer, Balance, Cash, GaultMillau, Handelszeitung and Swiss Illustrated. For most of these titles, it was possible to include figures from 2018, so that the development can be viewed over time. The factor shows that the Handelszeitung recorded the biggest increase: It was able to increase the proportion of women in reporting from 17 to 24 percent.

Ringier
The teaser score is relatively constant, with the biggest increase of 5 percentage points compared to the previous year being recorded by Handelszeitung.

Quantitative measurement - qualitative, individual measures

Beyond quantitative measurement, many newsrooms have taken individual measures and conducted more in-depth qualitative research. At Observer an internal analysis revealed that there is an unequal gender ratio in certain categories.

The Swiss Illustrated on the other hand, has focused on supposed details in the language and images and is developing a kind of guideline here. Project teams have been formed in all editorial departments to bring EqualVoice into everyday work. At View EqualVoice is also included in the reviews, and reviews of EqualVoice are regularly published.

The changes in detail

Ringier-Medienmitteilung-EqualVoice-Factor2020-3

The EqualVoice Initiative was launched in November 2019 by CFO Annabella Bassler and is chaired by publisher Michael Ringier and CEO Marc Walder (Werbewoche.ch reported). The aim of the initiative is to promote gender equality and make women more visible in the media. The survey of the EqualVoice Factor is central to this. Other EqualVoice projects include the Expert List, Ringier's internal research tool for finding female experts, the EqualPyx photo challenge, which aims to generate images with more diversity, and the "Get Ready - Go Forward!" workshop for female experts, which supports women in expressing their expertise even better. An international expansion of the EqualVoice-Factor to other media brands is planned for the near future.

Kind regards realized anniversary film for FCZ women

As part of the 50th anniversary of women’s soccer, *Freundliche Grüsse* tells the story of two deserving first-generation FCZ players—with a little twist.

Freundliche Grüsse

Goals, trophies, champagne and Gucci - that's about how you can describe the careers of Trudy Streit-Moser and Heidi Aebi after watching this cinematic portrait. The film tells their story as if women's soccer had been a mass phenomenon over the last 50 years, and as if Trudy & Heidi had become world stars.

Personalities like Georges Brégy and Bernhard Turnheer still go into raptures when they hear the names of Trudy and Heidi. They dominated the Swiss league at will. With their incredible performances, Trudy & Heidi even managed to make the public suddenly pay more attention and interest to women's football than to the men's game. It quickly became clear that these two exceptional talents were not going to spend their entire careers in Switzerland, and so what had to come happened, and Trudy signed a lucrative contract with FC Bayern Munich. From then on, luxury ruled: the champagne was exchanged for champagne and the coach from Adidas had to give way to one from Gucci.

Even if Trudy's and Heidi's palmarés were somewhat distorted and the two were not so much in the media spotlight: Their performance, and that of women in football in general, must be appreciated.
