Internet World 2015, 24.03.15Messetag 1Foto: Marion Vogel
There will be around 100 specialist presentations during Internet World.Staying up-to-date in the field of e-commerce is no easy task. New developments appear on the market far too quickly and far too extensively, are immediately developed further and then you lose the thread. Of course, many industry insiders know their business very well, but thinking outside the box requires some effort - especially in the form of time, which unfortunately is usually rare. Internet World, Europe's leading e-commerce trade fair, has recognized this problem and has placed a further focus on the topic of further training for the upcoming trade fair on 1 and 2 March 2016. The great thing is that all training formats are free of charge for trade fair visitors - just like the trade fair itself.Simply update in workshops, lectures and guided toursFor the first time this year, the trade fair is offering free workshops for trade fair visitors. As part of the Internet World Academy, trade fair visitors can attend various intensive seminars on topics such as IBM Commerce tools in practice or find out how store operators can achieve competitive advantages with the help of personalized purchase recommendations. The 75-minute Internet World Academy workshops can be booked directly after free registration for the trade fair at http://www.internetworld-messe.de/Tickets Visitors to the trade fair will also receive compact and free information at the five parallel info arenas: In around 100 specialist presentations, interested parties can find out about the latest developments on all relevant e-commerce topics such as conversion boosting, cross-channel, internationalization and customer journeys. The information arenas are spread across the two exhibition halls of Internet World and another free highlight of the trade fair is the Kaminzimmer, which is already a permanent feature of the Internet World trade fair program following its success in recent years. On this particularly cozy stage, interesting discussion rounds and talks with top-class experts take place, including a discussion on the topic of "stationary retail in transition" or a talk with futurologist Nils Müller on Retail 2020.topic-specific guided tours are another format to get a quick update on current issues and trends. As in previous years, the trade fair will once again offer various tours in 2016, which are also free of charge. Guided by an expert, interested trade fair visitors can take part in tours on topics such as multichannel on both days of the fair. On each tour, five to seven exhibitors offering products and solutions on the respective topic will be on hand to answer any questions visitors may have. The guided tours can be booked by emailing Ms. Cotorobai at [email protected]. "Digital retail is a very dynamic industry with complex new developments and a great need for discussion," explains Saskia Müller, Director of the Internet World trade fair. "That's why we offer trade fair visitors inspiration for the business of today and tomorrow and compact knowledge transfer on important topics as a free service at the trade fair. "The Internet World trade fair is being held for the 20th time this year. 360 international exhibitors and sponsors will present the latest developments in online retailing on 22,000 square meters of exhibition space at the Munich exhibition grounds. 16,000 visitors are expected. Under the motto "The Future of E-Commerce", a high-caliber congress on the top trends in e-commerce will take place on both days of the trade fair. Visiting the trade fair is free of charge after pre-registration. There is a charge for attending the congress.______________________________________Internet World 2016Date: March 01/02, 2016Location: Munich Trade Fair Center, Hall B5 + B6, New East EntranceCongress costs: Discounted tickets for m&k readers from 650,- EUR plus VAT with code IW16mukTrade fair costs: Visit to the trade fair free of charge after pre-registrationInformation/registration: www.internetwold-messe.de_______________________________________
