welti-furrer-kisten-warhol

The Ruf-Lanz campaign for Welti Furrer has been awarded a Merit in the "Print & Outdoor" category at the One Show Awards in the USA. The campaign underscores the traditional company's expertise in national and international art transportation. The campaign will make its next appearance in poster form in June during Art Basel, one of the world's most important art fairs.

TBWA\Zurich can be pleased about two merits. The "50 Years of Big Mac" campaign, which has already won numerous awards, won twice in New York in the "Print & Outdoor" category.

After the two Pencils in gold and silver Thjnk Zurich posts an additional merit on the second day - here, too, the excellent campaign "Everyone is equal. No one is more equal." for Pro Infirmis.

The fifth Swiss Merit is also noteworthy: It goes to the Ticino agency Caselli Strategic Design from Mendrisio with the branding for the Lugano region.

Jung von Matt/Limmat implements another Swissmilk campaign with cow Lovely

Jung von Matt follows up on last year's campaign for Swissmilk by once again putting Lovely the dairy cow in the spotlight.

The Swiss milk producer Swissmilk wants to sensitize customers from all over Switzerland to the origin of dairy products and thus contribute to the reduction of long transport routes. For this purpose, Jung von Matt/Limmat has created a TV commercial together with the Swiss comedian and, once again, with the dairy cow Lovely, which is intended to bring this topic closer to the viewers in a humorous way.

The trilingual campaign will be implemented throughout Switzerland, with the TV spot and OOH media featuring Charles Nguela and Cow Lovely taking center stage. Furthermore, digital measures and a competition will convey the message that dairy products taste best when they come from close by.

Notch Interactive develops the "Social Media Excellence Program" for Siemens Switzerland

The communications industry is undergoing a transformation. This also affects the agency-client relationship. This is precisely where the «Social Media Excellence Program» for Siemens Switzerland, designed by Notch Interactive, comes in.

medienmitteilung-ni-2000x1000px_@2x

The starting point was Siemens Switzerland's need to have a stronger presence on social media channels and to position itself as an innovative and reliable partner in the B2B sector as well.

However, the aim was not only to use the channels more intensively and professionally, but also to internalize them. True to the motto: "At Siemens, everyone is social media. Because social media is a skill, not a job role."

In its implementation, Notch Interactive broke new ground and designed the "Social Media Excellence Program" - a tool that achieves three goals simultaneously:

  1. Creating a common understanding, both in the communications department and among internal clients and stakeholders.
  2. Increasing professional expertise across the team.
  3. The concrete processing and direct and joint implementation of social media measures.

The program consists of the four modules "Start", "Teach", "Coach" and "Reward". In addition to learning about social media concepts (Start) and in-depth knowledge in the sub-areas of channels, targeting, planning and content creation (Teach), participants work on concrete tasks from their real working environment. Notch Interactive provides support in the workgroups and one-to-one sessions (Coach). Upon completion of the ten-month program, graduates are awarded a certificate (Reward).

According to Irene Ackermann, Head of Marketing and Communications Siemens Switzerland, the "Social Media Excellence Program" has triggered a real boost among participants, not only in terms of skills, but also in terms of mindset. "With Notch Interactive, we have brought an extremely experienced team on board that has brought us a big step forward in terms of content and methodology, as well as enabling genuine and efficient co-creation," Ackermann is quoted as saying in a statement.

Responsible at Siemens Switzerland: Irene Ackermann (Head of Marketing and Communications). Responsible at Notch Interactive: Roger Oberholzer (Marketing Intelligence Director), Romina Lemmert (Head of Content & Social Media), Peter van der Touw (Overall Responsibility).

Butcher Rottmann Bürge discovers the original crunch with doubt

The new TV commercial for Zweifel shows that even prehistoric man could not resist the perfect crunch. The new campaign was created by Metzger Rottmann Bürge.

Never in 60 years of company history has Zweifel made a secret of what lies behind the perfect snack: the perfect crunchiness. And, as is well known, the potato chips experts will do anything to achieve this. Undaunted, the creative minds at MRB Metzger Rottmann Bürge have now also traced this primal urge back to its origins. In the process, they came across Homo Cnusperus, the presumed direct ancestor of the doubtful potato chips experts.

The new TV commercial for Zweifel went on air on Monday, May 13. It starts with a leap back in time to the Paleozoic era, where three homini cnusperi plunge headlong into a crunching adventure. Driven by their curiosity, they soon experience firsthand what real crunching means. No shell is too hard for them, no bite too daring, in order to get on the track of perfect enjoyment.

When the crunch hunters suddenly set their sights on the fluffy trunk of a mamut, it becomes too much for it. With loud stomping it marks its territory - and already cracks not the nut, but the first Homo Cnusperus. His colleagues are petrified, and they are still standing in the Museum of Cultural History, where generations of potato chips experts have been carefully studying this milestone in crispness ever since: Because only those who have lived crispiness since time immemorial can also make the crispiest chips.

MRB staged this epic of crispness with director Barney Cokeliss, whose signature has already shaped the previous adventures of the chips experts. It's the first to dramatize MRB's new sharpened doubt claim: "We'll do anything for that." A claim that is just as capable of capturing the origins of Chips Expert as it is the future of the company, the move from chips to snacks expert.

(film). Responsible at Zweifel Pomy-Chips: Roger Harlacher (CEO), Christoph Zweifel (Director Marketing & Sales), Philip Honegger (Head of Marketing & Communications), Marc Brändli (Digital Marketing Manager), Pia Gaube (Media & Project Manager).

Contexta leaves Bern and opts for urban nomadism

The Contexta agency is giving up its headquarters in Bern and will be operating as an "urban nomad" from August. The first temporary home: Zurich.

How the Bernese Newspaper reported on Saturday, the agency is parting ways with its permanent headquarters and plans to move to a new location every two to twelve months from August.

The agency's first move will be to Zurich, but the exact location has not yet been decided. The decision against a permanent workplace was made by the team. Company owner and boss Nadine Borter hopes that this will provide new insights for herself and her employees, as well as positive added value for her clients in the form of a "creative blessing".

Whether it's an outdoor pool, a café or Langstrasse. The important thing is that the potential locations are a source of inspiration for the employees. By planning to relocate every two to twelve months, Borter wants the agency to be constantly on the move, both physically and mentally.

However, not all employees benefit equally from this concept. A corresponding solution is currently being worked out for employees with caring responsibilities or families - such as Borter himself. Two employees were not at all convinced by the idea and will therefore be leaving the company; in addition, the employment contracts of six other employees were terminated for individual reasons. However, five new employees were recently hired, so the agency is currently undergoing a major transformation.

The Big Blue: Thom Pfister stages new collection by Javier Reyes

Thom Pfister is creating the campaign for the new spring-summer collection by Bern-based fashion designer Javier Reyes.

03_JavierReyes_AD_ThomPfister-t

Designer Javier Reyes, who grew up in Mexico City, has been enlivening and inspiring the fashion scene in Bern and beyond for more than two decades. It is his simple yet sophisticated collections, which always have something profound and mysterious about them, that fascinate his customers.

Blue plays a key role in this year's collection and has inspired the Bernese creative Thom Pfister to create a campaign. The color blue evokes associations with water and its many properties and manifestations - directly as drops, waves, currents or transcendentally as a feeling of depth and intensity or as thoughts of the mysticism of underwater worlds. These diverse inspirations appear as mysterious, playful illustrations in the images of the new collection - sometimes romantic and dreamy, sometimes alienating and subversive, but always with the intention of attracting attention, inspiring and arousing curiosity - just like Javier Reyes' collections.

Matchcom responsible for market presence and branding for Spick News

The first issue of Spick News, the new youth magazine from Künzler Bachmann, is coming out these days. Matchcom has taken on the challenge of developing the market presence and branding of a print publication in the digital age—while also appealing to both parents and teens at the same time.

SpickNews_Newspaper_1200px

Known is Spick as a school magazine with reports and information. Following the successful launch of MiniSpick, the publishing house Künzler Bachmann is now launching a new product: Spick News, a printed newspaper for young people between the ages of 10 and 15 for German-speaking Switzerland, to be published 30 times a year (Werbewoche.ch reported). The communication is aimed at two target groups: On the one hand to the young product users, on the other hand to the product buyers such as parents, relatives or teachers.

The basic idea for the campaign was that teenagers are mirrored in adults. Matchcom's campaign showcases teenagers getting closer to their parents in terms of everyday knowledge - a positive idea in the eyes of both target groups. The naming, logo and claim are deliberately based on the existing branding family. The name "Spick News" works in all national languages of Switzerland, reflects the regular appearance and emotionally picks up the target groups.

In terms of strategy, Matchcom focused strongly on owned and earned media - by exploiting all opportunities with the help of partners (Swiss Post, Swisscom, Tamedia, Blick/Ringier and Südostschweiz), its own existing titles, social media channels, websites and media releases. In the area of paid media, the agency relied on classic channels, online and social media. Samplings were also made at schools. On the web, subscribers can expect the landing page Spicknews.ch: simple but strikingly designed - with an efficient user guide.

Matchcom realized two films for TV, cinema, Youtube and Facebook. They show the synchronicity of young people and adults in obtaining information with a wink of the eye. The photo shoot for advertisements and static display ads took place at the same time as the shooting of the spots.
