Erdmannpeisker strikes for Quickline

The Biel-based agency Erdmannpeisker has launched a high-impact fall campaign for the Telkom provider Quickline.

Quickline's USP and positioning is its regional proximity. The telecommunications provider ensures this with the help of its 24 independent and regionally anchored partners. As a result, Quickline is always close to its customers and in many cases already well-known. In this respect, this regionality is promoted in every campaign.

Quickline's current fall campaign is primarily a sales campaign. Quickline is offering customers who switch to them now a twofold attractive offer: a promotional device and also a year's subscription to TV for free.

The offer is intended to make a full impact in the partner regions - and that's exactly how it was advertised in the campaign: Devices crashing toward the regions as comets with long fire tails. The regionality is included in the headline, which was adapted for the respective region via targeting.

Franz&René presents us with a choice for Groupe Mutuel

For Groupe Mutuel's premium campaign this year, Franz&René created six different ad concepts centered on making the most of one's time.

Header_hen_1920x1080

The campaign uses six animated subjects to point out to the public that time can be better used than marveling at a seemingly endless video: namely, with a quote request at Groupe Mutuel.

Visibly different

The animated 3D subjects have the insurer's unmistakable sense of humor and bring a breath of fresh air into the rather monothematic communication forest of health insurance companies. In focus: the premium, which is prominently visible on all subjects.

Pure digital

With targeted OLV distribution to increase awareness, accompanied by dynamic display banners and programming, the subjects are distributed nationally and in three languages, and are intended to reach the appropriate target audience in each case with subregional geotargeting. In addition, there is a DOOH plan targeted at the most important pedestrian zones at Swiss train stations.

Competition in the mobile communications market will also not be affected by this acquisition. Sunrise continues to have the necessary technical capabilities to provide its customers with high-quality mobile communications services.

At the end of October, the Competition Commission Weko had already approved the takeover without conditions or requirements (Werbewoche.ch reported).

UPC owner Liberty Global had submitted a purchase offer in August and now holds 96.6 percent of Sunrise (Werbewoche.ch reported). (SDA)

"Wasserschloss Hagenwil" wins 20th Thurgau Tourism Award

Thurgau Tourism - with the support of Thurgauer Kantonalbank as prize sponsor - is awarding the Thurgau Tourism Prize for the 20th time. The prize is endowed with a sum of CHF 10,000 and is an important motivational and marketing tool for service providers. The prize is intended to honor exemplary entrepreneurial thinking and action in line with the tourism strategy.

While last year, for the first time, the public was able to cast their vote via online voting, this year this was deliberately dispensed with. Due to the tightened measures for the containment of the corona virus, a large part of the potential tourism award candidates would have had only a limited or no possibility to convince the large public of their offer. Thus - based on the evaluation of six criteria by a jury of experts - the moated castle of Hagenwil emerged as this year's winner.

Award ceremony on March 25, 2021

The official award ceremony for invited guests is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 25, 2021 as part of the Tourism Forum Thurgau Bodensee.

SB Agency launches online magazine for the 50-plus generation

The new online magazine «The Silver Magazine» is a platform for bloggers in their prime—aged 50 and older—who write candidly about their experiences, concerns, and joys. The magazine and its initial group of eleven bloggers are being marketed by SB Agency under the joint leadership of Danielle Stutz and Nadia Rosasco.

The texts from The Silver Magazine are only minimally proofread, the bloggers should bring in their personality and develop their own language. After a soft launch at the beginning of June, The Silver Magazine is now officially launched.

SB Agency was initiated in 2019 by Rea Eggli (wemakeit, swissandfamous, letsmuseeum), Serge Riedener (freelance filmmaker, copywriter and concept developer), Nadia Rosasco (Rosas & Co Films), Danielle Stutz (DS Photographers) and Claudia Wintsch (elliott, Blofeld Communications). The five founders run The Silver Magazine as a project close to their hearts alongside their main activities, according to a press release.

"Our bloggers are selected based on their personality and topics. Authenticity is always at the forefront," says Danielle Stutz, owner of DS Photographers. "Most of them are new writers and have never published texts before, while others are seasoned journalists," adds Nadia Rosasco, owner of Rosas & Co Films. Stutz and Rosasco will continue their previous activities in the areas of film and photography and will manage SB Agency on a part-time basis.

The idea for The Silver Magazine had Danielle Stutz on the fitness treadmill. Her vision: to fill a need for digital content for people over 50 with a platform for silver agers and thus close a thematic gap. Also for advertisers: The aim is to offer them an exciting new platform to address one of the most active and affluent generations. This is why advertising opportunities for companies, organizations and NGOs will be offered on Thesilvermagazine.com and the associated social media channels in future.

ISS Switzerland with new in-house editorial team

Under the leadership of Communications Manager Andrea Joss, ISS Switzerland is restructuring its Communications and Marketing Services department. Zoe Venakis from Izzy and Jan Koller from Monami join the team.

DuoISS_v2
Zoe Venakis (Izzy Magazine) and Jan Koller (Monami) are §in the Communications and Marketing team of ISS Switzerland since November 1, 2020.

Information overload, new digital advertising markets and the vying for attention in social media have also changed corporate communications. ISS Switzerland has also recognized this.

With the editorial principle in corporate communications, the company wants to strengthen its brand perception and develop a new positioning. "We will set up corporate communications along the lines of a journalistic editorial team: Storytelling is thus the focus," explains Andrea Joss, Head of Communications and Marketing Services. "We want to communicate in a channel-specific and target group-oriented way. And better understand what moves our audience thanks to data analysis. Algorithms and rankings are a driving force behind the success or failure of individual stories in the smartphone age. That's why marketing our content is just as important." To that end, Zoe Venakis and Jan Koller were brought on to the communications and marketing team.

Zoe Venakis will be responsible for editorial planning of the digital channels in the role of Editor in Chief Digital. As an in-house editor, she also supports Gabriella Crepaz, responsible for editing the customer magazine. In addition, she produces multimedia stories in text, images and video for the in-house channels. Venakis comes from the Izzy Magazine.

Jan Koller will take care of the marketing and distribution of the stories as digital media manager. Koller previously worked at the Monami agency.

The new editorial structures are to be implemented by the end of the year and the 2021 editorial plan drawn up. The company will operate with the new editorial structure from January 1, 2021.

Jeff, Mediakanzlei and PRfact declare war on clothing wrinkles

Kenwood Swiss’s Braun brand is launching a campaign in collaboration with Jeff, Mediakanzlei, and PRfact. Under the slogan «Wrinkles are beautiful—just not in clothes,» the campaign includes online initiatives, a social media contest, influencer partnerships, a point-of-sale (POS) campaign, and media relations.

Whether laugh dimples, laugh lines by the eyes or as a sign of aging - wrinkles are beautiful and likeable. In clothes, however, they are undesirable. This was precisely the hook for the campaign for the CareStyle Compact steam ironing stations and the CareStyle 5 and CareStyle 7 pressurized steam ironing stations from Braun. The campaign basically wants to put people and emotions in the foreground.

The basis for this was a photo shoot that focuses on the wrinkles of the models and influencers. The influencers use the photos for their own channels. The remaining portrait images will be seen at the POS as well as in the social media competition and the online media campaign.

Responsible at Braun / Kenwood Swiss: Marc Vollenweider (Senior Brand Manager). Responsible at Jeff: Stefanie Dell'Orto (Senior Project Manager). Responsible at Mediakanzlei: Pascal Fröhli (Media Consultant). Responsible at PRfact: Tirza Ledermann (Influencer and Social Media Specialist), Silvana Zollinger (PR Consultant). Simon Kümin raffles Christmas dinner without boss

Since copywriter Simon Kümin had a good year in 2020, he would like to thank all his «good customers and dissatisfied non-customers»—and support the industry that is currently struggling.

simonkuemin-weihnachtsessen

"While the cancellation of Christmas dinner should be a relief for many in middle management, it is a more than medium catastrophe for the gastronomy," writes the copywriter in a message. That's why Kümin wants to raffle 5 x 500 Swiss francs for a Christmas dinner without a boss or work colleagues - in a Swiss restaurant of your choice.

The response rate among customers who were personally contacted was a whopping 42 percent within less than a day, according to the report. At Simonkuemin.ch/christmas-dinner both customers and non-customers can participate - especially if they have a management function in marketing.
