In spring, Wingo shows its generosity and advertises the "Swiss Pro" cell phone subscription with a small price all the larger - so large, in fact, that Charles Nguela and Alex Kominek can sit on it. Only an epic zoom-out in the movie shows the true size of the offer.
The "Wingo Europe" subscription will also feature prominently. With these two offers, Wingo aims to continue to impress with extremely competitive - and small - prices in April.
10-second clips were produced for YouTube and cinema, which are also used in DOOH without a soundtrack. Various large and small online and mobile formats are also used. So that the big offers are sure to make it big.

Advertising market March 2025: traditional media still under pressure

The advertising market in Switzerland remains in reverse gear in March 2025. Gross advertising expenditure in traditional media amounted to CHF 340.7 million, which corresponds to a decline of 4.0% compared to the same month last year. A decline of 3.2% was already recorded in February.
None of the traditional media groups were able to achieve a positive result compared to the previous year. However, the ranking within the media mix remains stable: TV is still ahead of print, followed by out-of-home, radio and cinema.
Accumulated gross value added for the first quarter amounted to CHF 859.5 million, which corresponds to a year-on-year decline of 4.3%.
The digital advertising market is also showing declining trends in the areas of search and display. With a share of 52.3%, search nevertheless remains the leader, ahead of display with 33.1%. Only YouTube recorded growth, with a market share of 14.6%.

Retail trade dominates - but with moderate growth
Only eight out of 21 sectors saw growth in the traditional advertising market. With gross advertising expenditure of CHF 36.2 million in March, the retail trade sector remained in the lead, but only recorded an increase of 5.8%. Stronger growth was recorded by the media (+18.2 %), cleaning (+17.6 %) and digital & household (+17.0 %) sectors, among others.
Leisure, gastronomy, tourism (+6.4 %), pharmaceuticals & healthcare (+4.4 %), transportation (+13.7 %) and personal care (+2.1 %) also developed positively.
13 sectors showed a downward trend. Nevertheless, the food industry is in second place with a decline of 6.9%. Other sectors affected include construction, industry, furnishings (-9.6 %), vehicles (-9.1 %), initiatives & campaigns (-3.7 %) and finance (-1.1 %). At the lower end of the scale are energy (-58.8 %) and tobacco products (-29.1 %).
In the digital market, the leisure, gastronomy and tourism sector is at the top of both the monthly and annual rankings, while the retail sector leads the traditional market.
The rankings of individual sectors show parallels between the two markets: Beverages is ranked 14th in each case, while Pharma & Health and Cosmetics & Personal Care are in the midfield. While tobacco products bring up the rear in the traditional market, the cleaning sector occupies this position in the digital sector.
In the Display segment, mobile phone provider Spusu.ch is once again in first place. Booking.com remains at the top of the SEO rankings, while the nicotine brand Zyn achieved the top position on YouTube. The Swiss Airlines flight offering and the Swiss.com platform both appear in ninth place in both areas.

Various personnel changes are taking place at Ringier Media Switzerland (RMS). As part of a strategic realignment, Steffi Buchli, previously Chief Content Officer and member of the Executive Board, will be leaving the company after a handover phase.
Buchli has shaped the digital transformation of Blick Sport over the past five years and played a key role in the development of RMS. She played a central role in the development of an overarching content strategy and contributed to the positioning of RMS in the Swiss media market, as detailed in a press release. CEO Ladina Heimgartner paid tribute to her efforts, saying: "Her leadership and vision, coupled with her energy, courage to change and entrepreneurial commitment, have played a key role in shaping our content strategy and creating added value for our audience."
Buchli's departure is accompanied by a restructuring of content responsibility. The content strategy and operational management of content at Group level will now be the responsibility of the COO. Markus Wirth, currently COO at the Goldbach Group, will assume this role in fall 2025. Wirth brings over 25 years of experience in the areas of digital transformation, technology and innovation.
In addition to the traditional tasks of a COO, Wirth will also be responsible for the content and media creation hub, print sales, customer service and business transformation at RMS. His predecessor Roman Sigrist is moving to the newly created position of Head of Business & AI Transformation.

The journalistic responsibility for the View will in future be organized separately from content for the entire RMS portfolio: Rolf Cavalli, previously Deputy Chief Content Officer, will take over as Editor-in-Chief of the Blick Group. He will manage the newsroom together with Chief Digital Officer Sandro Inguscio. Andreas Dietrich (View Print) and Reza Rafi (SonntagsBlick) will remain in their roles, while Thomas Balderer will assume interim responsibility at RMS level.
With this reorganization, RMS says it is setting the course for more focused management, closer operational integration and market-oriented further development - with the declared aim of positioning itself as the leading and most innovative media company in Switzerland.
Digital letter becomes part of Swiss Post's basic mandate
The federal government plans to task Swiss Post with delivering letters digitally in the future. At the same time, it is relaxing the requirements for physical letter delivery. Swiss Post supports the revision of the ordinance but views it only as a first step.

Today, when we talk about the postal service, we mean the delivery of a paper letter by post. But this could change one day, as Swiss Post could soon be officially delivering letters digitally. The Federal Council wants to amend the basic mandate for Swiss Post. It submitted the corresponding revision of the ordinance for consultation on Wednesday.
The basic postal service should take greater account of the high level of digitization among the population and companies and be expanded to include digital services, the Federal Council explains in the press release.
Lower requirements for physical delivery
It sees the newly planned digital delivery channel as a supplement that should not replace physical basic delivery. However, the Federal Council is also using the revision of the ordinance to relax the quality requirements for physical mail delivery. The transit times for letters, parcels and subscribed daily newspapers are to be reduced to 90 percent for the basic service (currently: letters 97 percent, parcels and subscribed daily newspapers 95 percent). In addition, Swiss Post will no longer have to deliver letters "to houses inhabited all year round", but "to settlements inhabited all year round". According to the Federal Council, all of this should enable Swiss Post to "optimize its processes from a business management perspective and thus provide basic services more efficiently and cost-effectively".
The Confederation is also including more digitalization in the basic mandate with regard to the banking services provided by Swiss Post, namely a means of payment accepted for online payments (e.g. debit card or payment app) and digital access to electronic payment transactions (e-banking).
Post wants fundamental political discussion
In an initial statement, Swiss Post describes the proposed changes to the ordinance as an "important step". In recent years, the company has specialized in the secure and reliable transmission of digital information, the company explains. Nicole Burth, member of the Group Executive Board and Head of Digital Services, says: "If a customer sends a letter by post in future, she will have the option of posting it digitally. In this case, the recipient can then choose whether they want to receive the item physically or digitally. This gives customers the freedom of choice. We are convinced that the hybrid letter is the right way forward for Switzerland and for the modernization of the universal postal service."
With hybrid letters, customers should be able to choose the delivery method themselves. (Image: zVg.)
As far as the lowering of the quality standards for physical delivery is concerned, these allow more leeway in the event of extraordinary events such as train failures or tunnel closures, Swiss Post continues. Around 2 percent of all Swiss households would be affected by the second relaxation - regarding delivery to all settlements inhabited all year round instead of all houses inhabited all year round. They would receive alternative delivery solutions and the changeover would take place over a period of 10 years.
However, Swiss Post does not want to leave it at the changes to the ordinance drawn up by the Federal Administration. In the press release, the Group writes that it is "dependent on a fundamental political discussion about a modern universal service mandate from 2030 onwards."
The federal government is also keeping this option open. With the revision of the ordinance, it is responding to a report on the modernization and stabilization of Swiss Post that was adopted in spring 2024. The proposed "easing" of the quality requirements should save Swiss Post up to 45 million francs a year, according to the press release on the report. In the medium to longer term, however, a comprehensive modernization of the basic service is unavoidable, the Federal Council concedes. However, it has not yet decided on further measures. However, the Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) is to submit the key figures for a revision of the Postal Services Act in the course of 2025 with regard to the structure of the universal service from 2030. Capri-Sun picks up on the contrasting lifestyles of young adults
With a Europe-wide campaign, Capri-Sun is positioning its 330-milliliter size as the go-to drink for Gen Z. The social-first campaign focuses on authentic everyday scenes that balance responsibility and spontaneity.

Capri-Sun is targeting Generation Z with a new campaign. The focus is on the 330ml format of the drink, which is now being charged with a new brand promise: Instead of exclusively evoking childhood memories, the brand is to be anchored in the reality of young adults' lives.
The campaign picks up on contrasts that, according to Capri-Sun, characterize the everyday life of Gen Z - between pressure to perform and self-realization, between responsibility and light-heartedness. The resealable drinking bag becomes a symbol for a small, carefree break in the transition to adulthood.
Typical everyday situations from the lives of young people are shown - whether in the office, at a festival or before going out. "Our 330ml campaign expresses exactly what moves Gen Z: the feeling of having to grow up, but not quite being ready for it yet," explains Renee Oostdam, Head of Global Innovation at Capri-Sun.
To reach Gen Z where they are, Capri-Sun is taking a social-first approach and playing out the campaign on channels such as Instagram and TikTok, supplemented by classic and digital out-of-home measures. In terms of content, the campaign focuses on authenticity and closeness to the target group - with a tongue-in-cheek look at growing up.
EVZ Olé: Siegfried & Roi for Zuger Kantonalbank
Just in time for the start of the 2025 hockey playoffs, Zuger Kantonalbank and Siegfried & Roi kicked off the season’s most intense phase with a campaign. And they didn’t go the route of a run-of-the-mill hockey sponsorship campaign.

In order to promote its commitment as a long-standing general sponsor of the EVZ - and thus also for tens of thousands of people who support the teams with love and passion - new paths were taken instead of developing another classic sponsorship campaign. As enthusiastic rap and house fans, the Siegfried & Roi team opted for branded entertainment.
The hip-hop track "EVZ Olé" was produced together with Zug rapper "Freshe" and Zurich singer Débikatesse. Neither of them can be seen in the official music video or the various arena versions. However, they lend their voices to the more than 20 fans, local institutions, Zuger-Kantonalbank employees and EVZ icons involved, who gave their all in front of the camera.
Several cut versions on all social media platforms and various motifs with selected protagonists were used to advertise the campaign and successfully generate traffic on the relevant social media platforms. Landing page generated. The song is available on Spotify and all relevant streaming portals.

Roser is a trading company for wood-based materials and operates in both the B2B and B2C sectors. For the B2C segment, targeted social media campaigns were developed for the parquet, doors and decking wood product areas. The campaigns are designed to increase brand awareness and appeal to potential customers along their entire journey.
"We want to make Roser's high-quality products visible to homeowners in particular and encourage the target group to visit the showroom," explains Joseph Feid, project manager at Flin. The social media measures have been running in a background noise mechanism since the end of March and are supplemented by search ads on Google.
In the B2B area, the focus is on marketing Veneer Express. With this innovative product, Roser aims to position itself even more specifically as a leading trading company for wood-based materials.
The collaboration between Roser and Flin is reportedly agile with a focus on ongoing prioritization. This ensures that necessary measures, optimizations or adjustments are continuously evaluated and implemented.
