For three years, he also managed the office of the Smart City Association Bern.

He continues his commitment as climate officer and project manager of the "Smart Urban Heat Map" a publicly accessible online monitoring network that documents the urban heat in the Bern region. The agency's existing and new mandates in the areas of content, media relations and social media will in future be managed by the two Managing Partners Lorenz Jaggi and Marco Di Piazza. As part of this change, Consign is focusing on the targeted expansion of partnerships with established agencies or qualified individuals with proven expertise. Sodastream: Spring fizz with "Push it real good"

To kick off the outdoor season, SodaStream is launching a campaign for its new «Fizz&Go» bottle. The campaign centers on a Swiss German rap commercial, accompanied by a wide-ranging digital and OOH campaign.

SodaStream is accompanying the launch of the Fizz&Go bottle with a nationwide campaign, focusing on a targeted approach to environmentally conscious consumers. The measures have been running since Monday until the end of May - in the context of Earth Month and the start of spring - and include TV replay ads, digital placements, YouTube and activities on social media.

The centerpiece is a 15-second spot with rap elements in Swiss German, which ties in with last year's "Push it real good" campaign but gives it a tongue-in-cheek update.

The clip positions the new bottle as an everyday accessory for on the go and highlights both the three available color variants and the interplay with the syrup options.

The product launch also includes a promotion: until June 1, the new bottle is free with the purchase of a sparkling water maker.

Amorana wants to bring Zurich to a climax

For the launch of «Womanizer Enhance,» Amorana is relying on an eye-catching OOH campaign at prominent locations in Zurich. With a humorous and direct approach, the sexual wellness provider is promoting a product that promises pleasure—and, according to a study, delivers it.

Since Monday, Amorana has been advertising the new "Womanizer Enhance" at highly frequented Zurich locations such as the main railway station, Stadelhofen and Sihlcity. The OOH campaign consists of three posters with provocative messages such as "With it, you'll get 100 %. Guaranteed." or "Better than your situationship." draw attention to female pleasure - and put it front and center.

The campaign is based on a survey conducted in March 2024 with 1,000 participants from Switzerland. The results show that 61.2% of the women surveyed rate their libido as high or very high - yet almost one in two say they occasionally or frequently fake an orgasm. Only a quarter say they have never done so. The results illustrate the so-called "orgasm gap".

Amorana wants to respond to this discrepancy with the "Womanizer Enhance". The new product was tested in a field study with 102 test subjects - and reportedly produced astonishing results, with all of them climaxing at least once. "Sex sells - but only if it's honest, self-determined and inclusive," says Miriam Otero, Senior Brand Manager at Amorana. "The Womanizer Enhance delivers exactly what it promises. And our posters say exactly that. With a wink, but always with substance."

The campaign stands out: the Instagram channel "Szene isch Züri" for example, drew attention to the subjects.

"Color it yourself" by Cic is "Cartoon of the year"

The People’s Choice Award for the «Gezeichnet 2024» exhibition goes to a caricature by Stephan Lütolf, alias Cic, which portrays Donald Trump as a symbolic figure of the global crisis. Political themes and personal resignation also dominate the rest of the rankings—in a condensed, graphic form.

The "Drawn 2024" exhibition at the Museum of Communication in Bern has chosen the caricature of the year. The work by Stephan Lütolf, alias Cic, which was created for the newspaper The Covenant was created. The drawing relates Donald Trump to the state of world politics and the fatigue associated with it - and leaves the last word to the viewer by symbolically handing them the pencil.

"Cic is a good illustration of the complexity of a successful press drawing," says Marco Ratschiller, illustrator and co-organizer of the exhibition. The work impresses with linguistic wit, visual reduction and a resigned mood - a mirror of political and social sentiment in the year 2024.

The public voted a drawing by Christoph Biedermann into second place. In it, a visibly overwhelmed dove of peace lies on a psychiatrist's couch. With this motif, Biedermann addresses the impression of collective powerlessness in the face of global conflicts. The drawing was seen as an apt expression of current feelings.

Regina Vetter took third place with a reduced depiction of Donald Trump. A shock of yellow hair and the words "He's back" are enough to comment on Trump's re-election as US President - and at the same time make a historical nod to the 193034s.

The "Gezeichnet" exhibition is organized annually by the Museum of Communication and the Gezeichnet association. It shows a selection of the best Swiss press drawings from the past year. In 2024, there were reportedly around 18,000 visitors. The next edition is planned for the period from December 12, 2025 to February 22, 2026.

Coca-Cola launches campaign for the new edition of "Share a Coke"

With a nationwide multichannel campaign, Coca-Cola is bringing the «Share a Coke» promotion back to Swiss retailers. The relaunch of the personalized products will be accompanied by roadshows, digital initiatives, and a launch event featuring brand ambassadors.

The "Share a Coke" campaign, first launched in 2011, is returning to Switzerland in 2025 with an expanded scope. Instead of the brand logo, first names will appear on Coca-Cola bottles and cans, which are now available in stores. The campaign is aimed at greater personalization and will be communicated via a broad-based marketing mix.

In Switzerland, Coca-Cola is relying on a multi-channel approach: in addition to OOH measures, the campaign includes TV spots, social media formats, POS promotions, influencer cooperations and sampling. A nationwide roadshow with ten stops is also planned. At the respective event locations, visitors can design their own can and have it digitally visualized on site and take and share photos in a photobooth. Coca-Cola will also be present with the campaign at several major Swiss festivals.

A central element of the campaign is the official launch event on May 8 in Zurich. Luca Hänni, Kings Elliot and Loco Escrito will be performing at the Acrush event location. The event will be supported by various Coca-Cola influencers, including Noemi Nikita, Kris Grippo, Kevin Lütolf and Chiara Castelli. Event tickets will be raffled off via the Coca-Cola app.

Mjm.cc delivers flourishing ideas for 25 years of BoSW

With a creative display of fireworks and a sea of digital flowers, the agency Mjm.cc designed the anniversary edition of Best of Swiss Web.

Best of Swiss Web BoSW celebrated its 25th anniversary in April. This year, the award night had a fresh and effective appearance. The creative agency Mjm.cc, which has been closely involved with Best of Swiss Web since 2007, was responsible for the concept, social media, design and marketing of the anniversary event.

The centrepiece was the motion design, which alluded to BoSW's anniversary with stylized, digital flowers. It ensured a recognition effect, as the motif had already been used in advance on social media and in advertisements.

"We wanted to give the anniversary a strong visual expression," explains Christoph Marti, Creative Director at Mjm.cc. "The stylized digital flowers not only stand for the anniversary, but also for the growth that Best of Swiss Web has undergone in 25 years - and for all the projects that have blossomed during this time."

Instead of the traditional jury videos, the 25th edition of Best of Swiss Web was celebrated with a special journey through time with author and satirist Patrick "Karpi" Karpiczenko, alias Konrad Wanker. He made several video calls from the past and recalled some of the highlights of past award nights.

Ruf Lanz for Hiltl: vegetable bouquets in honor of all mothers

May 11 is Mother's Day. Ruf Lanz and vegetarian pioneer Hiltl are celebrating all mothers with lovingly arranged vegetable bouquets.

Ruf Lanz has been designing campaigns for the world's oldest veggie restaurant since 2006. "Markus Ruf and his team are always surprising us with crisp ideas that appeal to our fans and attract new guests," says Chairman of the Board Rolf Hiltl, fourth-generation owner of Hiltl. "The most recent example is the intergenerational Mother's Day campaign."

With a visual analogy, children of all ages are inspired "through the flower" to surprise their mothers on Mother's Day with an invitation to Hiltl - for brunch, lunch or dinner. And to give them the most precious gift of all: time and attention.

A colorful bouquet of measures was put together for the Hiltl Mother's Day campaign. It can be seen until Mother's Day on printed and digital posters, postcards, POS material, online ads and social media measures.

Flowers and pearls: unfathomable youth language

Sarah Pally, a linguist and partner at the agency Partner & Partner, takes a close look at (advertising) language in her column «Blüten und Perlen.» This time, the focus is on the inscrutable language of today’s youth—and how it often comes across as embarrassing in advertising.

In advertising, you usually want to appeal to a specific target group. It happens that this target group is relatively far removed from your own world - and also from that of others in your immediate vicinity. For example, in terms of age, especially with "the young": these unfathomable creatures with their own strange language. Come on, let's try to attract them by imitating their call!

Dancing parents

Are "the young" really that easy to dupe? I hope not - and I don't believe it either. Youth language in advertising is already embarrassing for most adults. Because it's unskilled, desperate. Like when the parents come along to the party; and also dance. They would have to be very authentically cool parents.

Or is the use of youth language perhaps quite clever, the good old manipulative age trick: we don't want to appeal to the young - we want to appeal to the adults! By pretending to address the young, and then the old feel young themselves, because they think it's good and feel reminded of themselves, *gasp* and are proud that they still barely understand it, *gasp* so they feel implicitly addressed on a deeply emotional and positively charged level.... Check how clever?

You're just jealous

From experience: no... They really and desperately want to reach "the young" - and this desperation resonates. In general, youth language seems to have become a strange fetish. Why? Is it the fearfulness of adults? The fascination of the ugly? The allure of the forbidden? Or the memory of one's own youth? Just making fun of others again because your own life is so uneventful? Or even: envy?

Youth language should always exclude others. Yes, exactly you, Hans-Peter, and you, Rebekka. And me too. That's exactly what it's made for. Let's just leave it alone and let it be as great as it is. Because nothing demonstrates the flexibility of language better - at last it is being used properly, pushed beyond its limits, shredded beyond recognition and mashed together into something new.

And: nobody likes to be mimicked, but everyone likes to be taken seriously. Perhaps that would be an approach to reach "the young"? It's best to simply ask them yourself - if you dare to make contact.

Analyzed since 2025 Sarah Pally In her column "Blossoms and Pearls", she uses industry-related terms and comments on them with a personal touch, from a linguistic perspective - as well as with a precise view of developments in the industry. Pally is a partner in the Partner & Partner agency in Winterthur. She has been working in the fields of content marketing, text/concept and storytelling in the communications and marketing sector for 15 years.

Lidl Switzerland bundles Swiss products under new own brand

Starting in May 2025, Lidl Switzerland will phase out various Swiss private-label brands and launch «Qualité Suisse.» As a result, up to 500 products manufactured in Switzerland will be uniformly labeled and marketed in the future.

(Image: Lidl Switzerland)

Lidl Switzerland is underlining its commitment to Swiss products with "Qualité Suisse". In future, Swiss products will be bundled under the new own brand and given a uniform brand identity. Until now, Swiss products at Lidl Switzerland have been sold under various own brands such as Milbona, Fromani, Maestade and Bonvalle and labeled with a Swiss cross on the shelf.

From May 8, 2025, around 200 items with the label will initially be available in the stores - 30 of which have been newly introduced. According to Lidl, the range is set to grow to 500 products by the end of the year. The new brand stands for Swiss origin and is intended to make it easier for customers to identify and access local products.

At the start, the range will include fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, fresh meat, cheese, charcuterie and dairy products. Other categories such as frozen products, drinks, ice cream and baked goods will follow over the course of the year.

CEO Nicholas Pennanen describes the launch as "a clear commitment to Swiss production" and a significant investment in domestic agriculture. Around 300 Swiss suppliers currently work with Lidl Switzerland, and more than 50 percent of sales are already accounted for by products from Switzerland. The company aims to further increase this share with the new own brand.

(Image: SRF/Oscar Alessio)

Paola Biason's decision to leave SRF and pursue a new career follows the announcement that "G&G" will be discontinued after the summer break (Markt-kom.com reported).

"I had 20 unforgettable years at SRF. But my heart beats too strongly for people journalism to only be able to live it out in a slimmed-down form, which is why I'm leaving the company," explains Biason. "I will greatly miss my dedicated team and the generous platform that SRF has offered Swiss celebrities with their own program for over 20 years."

Biason has been a social journalist since she started out in journalism. She began her career at SRF in March 2005 as an input specialist for the first People magazine program, which was broadcast under the name "Glanz & Gloria" at the time. Five years later, she became deputy editor-in-chief and took over as editor-in-chief in March 2015. In this role, she has reportedly made a significant contribution to the further development of the magazine over the past ten years.

Before her time at SRF, the English and Romance studies graduate from the University of Zurich worked for several years as Head of Entertainment at the Swiss Illustrated and at the SonntagsBlick active. Before that, she worked for the View and the Zurich Week.

Biason will continue to lead the editorial team until the last broadcast of "Faces & Stories" at the end of June 2025. Until then, in addition to the daily "G&G" edition, the editorial team will also be involved in various special broadcasts and additional services for the ESC.

Jim & Jim: Hyperlocal campaign for the expansion of Uber Eats

More cities, more restaurants, more culinary options. To let the public know that Uber Eats is now available in even more places, Jim & Jim was commissioned to create a video, poster, and DOOH campaign designed to whet people’s appetites across Switzerland.

The measures were designed to make it clear that Uber Eats is now also available in the area where the campaign is taking place. Jim & Jim therefore developed a hyper-local staging that does not look like a large-scale international campaign, but is intended to appear Swiss, approachable and likeable.

The centerpiece of the campaign is a video that celebrates the diversity of the Uber Eats world in Switzerland: From Langstrasse in Zurich to snowy slopes in the mountains. At the center of it all is an Uber Eats driver named Tony.

Parallel to the video campaign, a hyperlocal poster and DOOH campaign is also going live - for over 20 cities throughout Switzerland. In cooperation with the Rod agency, Jim & Jim designed localized headlines that connect the Uber Eats service with the respective city.

During two intensive days of filming, an emotional long version with striking storytelling and snackable short formats for social media were created. The latter are optimized for soundless playback and the short attention spans of digital target groups.

According to the agency, a ten-person production team filmed at five locations with 15 actors and two huskies for that little something extra.

Swissper becomes lead agency for Bonsana

The Swissper agency is taking over the strategic and operational management of all marketing and communication activities of the Swiss beauty distribution company Bonsana with immediate effect. The contract was awarded at the beginning of 2025 following a multi-stage pitch.

(Image: zVg.)

Since 1996, Bonsana has been distributing brands in the areas of care, well-being and lifestyle through pharmacies, drugstores, concept stores and various retailers. The family business is now managed by the second generation of owners, Yves Cannazza.

Swissper has set itself the goal of making Bonsana visible on all relevant platforms and positioning the wholesaler as a love brand in the digital age.

In future, the agency will be responsible for all touchpoints of the Bonsana brands - from social media, influencer campaigns and content productions to media, events, live marketing and PR. The focus is on a holistic omnichannel approach that creates target group-relevant experiences and enables brands to grow sustainably. The expertise of the Thryve Group's partner agencies is also used here.

"The pitch at the beginning of the year was intense - so we are all the more pleased about the trust and the contract award," says Kevin Toma, Managing Director of Swissper. "Bonsana not only brings exciting brands with it, but also the drive to boldly develop them further."

Goal: getting brands on the radar

Following the kick-off with the 2024 summer and winter influencer campaign, the first quarter of 2025 saw the direct continuation of marketing planning, annual strategies, TikTok channel setup, content planning, events and sampling. Implementation has reportedly been underway since mid-March. At the start of the partnership, brands such as Carmex, Skinrepublic, Skincyclopedia, Hidehere and Mad Hippie will be in focus.
