Karling develops overall appearance for Swiss Structured Products Association

SVSP becomes SSPA: The Zurich agency Karling modernizes and sharpens the appearance of the Swiss Structured Products Association SSPA with the use of the English association name, a new identity and a completely new website.

Swiss Structured Products Association

The Swiss Structured Products Association was founded on April 4, 2006. And has over 40 members from the entire value chain, from issuers to trading platforms and the buy-side to brokers and partners. With an investment volume of around CHF 200 billion, Switzerland is the world's largest market for structured products.

"Bubbles" logo as a starting point

Karling was the first to create a new logo that is both dynamic and timeless. The central element is "bubbles", which are intended to symbolically reflect Swissness as well as the innovative strength and diversity of the association. The bubbles are repeatedly used in a surprising way on the various advertising materials and are intended to ensure recognizability - in both animated and static form.

Website on the complex world of structured products

In a second step, the new website was Sspa.ch in which the complex world of structured products can be clearly explored. With a new structure, simple navigation and generally improved user-friendliness, the desired information should be retrieved more quickly. Two special features of the website are the scroll-dependent behavior of the design and the integration of various external elements such as knowledge tests or an interactive information tool.

New startup "Digital go" dedicated to digital transformation of SMEs

Founded in 2020, the startup «Digital go» takes the view that digitalization should not be portrayed as a panacea for the modern economy. Rather, the three founders behind Digital go envision a world full of new possibilities. They are committed to identifying these possibilities and opportunities and making the process of digital transformation as simple, profitable, and efficient as possible for their customers.

Digitization is on everyone's lips. Not infrequently, it is associated with a complex, lengthy process. Nevertheless, digitization seems to be indispensable in today's market, which can cause headaches for one or the other managing director.

The founders of "Digital go" see things quite differently. The recently founded startup is dedicated to the digital transformation of SMEs, but nevertheless clearly contradicts "digitization as a fad": "Our goal is not to digitize the world of SMEs as much as possible - our goal is rather to recognize the opportunities and possibilities that open up thanks to digitization, especially for SMEs, and to exploit them individually for each customer," explains Marco Kohler, co-founder of Digital go. To do this, they use their own analysis tool and adapt to the goals of their customers.

Diversity in business units and partner network

The three founders, Marco Kohler, Oliver Kuhn and Pascal Kaeser, bring with them many years of experience in the areas of marketing, sales, HR marketing & employer branding. Together, they have an extensive network of qualitative and specialized partners, which they can now draw on, especially in the strategy and implementation phase.

Twitter blocks Bakom Twitter accounts without explanation

Since September 28, the Federal Office of Communications (Bakom) has been unable to tweet. Twitter suspended its four accounts without explanation and has not responded to Bakom’s inquiries, the agency announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The four Bakom accounts are in German, French, Italian and English. The accounts were blocked without warning or explanation, Bakom writes. According to Bakom, it is doing everything in its power to clarify the matter. However, Twitter has not yet responded to inquiries.

SevenOne Media becomes Seven. One Entertainment Group Switzerland

To actively meet the challenges of the market, ProSiebenSat.1 Media set the course last fall for a platform-independent entertainment company. Now the change of name from SevenOne Media (Schweiz) AG to Seven. One Entertainment Group Schweiz AG has been announced.

sevenoneentertainmentgroup

The moving image market is in a state of upheaval worldwide. The use of TV offerings is changing and competition in the digital distribution channels is growing. That's why ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE set the course for a platform-independent company last fall. "Our common goal is to combine all of the holding company's entertainment activities under one roof. In doing so, we're creating greater agility, leaner structures, faster decision-making channels and closer integration. This will make us more efficient in content development, acquisition and content playout and monetization, and thus more attractive for our advertising customers," explains Andrea Haemmerli, Managing Director of the new Seven. One Entertainment Group Switzerland.

New corporate design, new brand architecture

The new corporate design and brand architecture, with the correspondingly adapted names of the assigned companies and brands, carry the new self-image internally and externally, and make the transformation visible. On Tuesday, the company SevenOne Media (Schweiz) AG was officially renamed Seven. One Entertainment Group Schweiz AG in the Swiss Commercial Register. Seven. One Entertainment Group Schweiz has thus entered into all the legal relationships of SevenOne Media (Schweiz).

What people watch: APG|SGA launches ChannelOOH!

APG|SGA is launching «ChannelOOH!,» a new offering for video advertising specifically targeted at 15- to 49-year-olds.

ChannelOOH_Sujets_big

With this offer, APG|SGA aims to provide advertisers with a unique opportunity in terms of price and performance to advertise to an attractive but increasingly difficult-to-reach age group in a precise and eye-catching way. To this end, a newly designed network product was created that offers a powerful solution as an alternative to other media channels, which will lose importance and reach due to the changes in offerings and media usage behavior - especially among 15- to 49-year-olds.

With this offer, all digital ePanels and eBoards in train stations and city centers can be played over precisely defined time slots in which this target group is demonstrably disproportionately "out of home". ChannelOOH! can be booked nationally or by language area from Monday.

Many influencers conceal advertising deals

Three out of four social media influencers conceal advertising disclosures in their posts. Users often cannot tell at first glance that a post is a paid advertisement. For example, social media stars bury the relevant information in a series of hashtags. This is shown by a study conducted by the marketing firm Awin.

influencer

"From a legal perspective, but above all from a consumer protection perspective, advertising must be labeled accordingly," explains brand strategist Michael Brandtner in an interview with Press release. "For brands and influencers, however, it is often desirable for customers not to recognize an ad as such, or not immediately. The reason: advertising is less credible than an honest opinion or content that is only intended to inform. Seen in this light, influencers are always operating in a gray area when they explore the legal boundaries in their collaboration with brands."

For the study, Awin used several hashtags that can identify an advertisement in Instagram posts. These include #ad, #advertisement and #sponsored. For each of these terms, the analysts examined the 100 most viewed pieces of content. They checked whether the hashtag was visible in the preview of the post or hidden in the text.

"Transparency with followers"

The analysts also found that 76% of influencers hide their advertising deals. In 59% of the posts, the hashtags for disclosure were found in the middle of the text, in 24% only at the end. Five percent were found at the beginning of the content, twelve percent were even hidden in the comments.

Social media stars most frequently conceal the hashtag #advertisement. Only 20 percent of relevant posts displayed it openly. According to Awin, it is surprising that so many influencers are dishonest with their fans. "It's important to be completely transparent with followers," says Kevin Edwards, Global Strategy Director at Awin. (pte)

Blue is ready for big emotions

At the end of September, Swisscom announced «Blue.» In collaboration with 316tn, Ast & Fischer, Bühler & Bühler, Form, Redact, Stories, and TLGG, a communications campaign was launched to firmly establish Blue as an entertainment brand in Switzerland and to widely promote its offerings and content.

"The campaign is a seamless continuation of the previous campaign 'Ready for Life' and thus consistently pays off the Swisscom communication platform #ready, which was launched this spring. In terms of content, it focuses precisely on where great entertainment touches us most: on emotions," explains Christoph Timm, Head of Marketing Communications at Swisscom.

No one should be deprived of these emotions. Everyone living in Switzerland should be able to use the entertainment service whenever they want and wherever they are. Even if they are not (yet) Swisscom customers.

A colorful bouquet of classic and new media is used - from posters to content marketing. The emotional anchor is a 59-second TV and cinema spot. The campaign was largely created in-house, but implemented together with external partners.

NZZ reduces number of frets in print edition

Since Saturday, the print edition of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung has included fewer frets than before. From Monday to Friday, there are two instead of four, on Saturday three instead of five. With this measure, the NZZ wants to align itself even more consistently with the current needs of its readership.

nzz-zeitung

32 pages from Monday to Friday and 60 pages on Saturday. These are the perimeters of the NZZ-Print editions since Saturday. The number of pages corresponds to what has been the rule since the lockdown in March this year, as a look at the NZZ-archive shows. Before, there were regularly also a few pages more.

"This move, I can say openly, is also a cost-cutting measure," said NZZeditor-in-chief Eric Gujer told Persoenlich.com. The project to streamline print editions was launched about a year ago, before the Corona crisis. However, the pandemic has accelerated its implementation, according to Gujer.

Commitment to the print edition

Printed advertising went down in the NZZ declined sharply, as it did for all other newspapers. The newspaper generally had less content during the lockdown. The possibility of eliminating the printed newspaper altogether had also been up for debate.

However, the printed daily newspaper will remain an important part of the offering in the future, Gujer writes in an article in the Saturday edition of the NZZ. While the continuous stream of news today flows primarily via online media, newspapers and e-papers represent a carefully curated offering that creates orientation in the daily flood of information through conscious selection.

The printed newspaper is clearly structured and easy to read. It offers the most important news of the last 24 hours, plus background, analysis and classification. To reduce the number of pages, the TV program and weather, among other things, have been made more compact. In addition, fewer own advertisements appear and the stock market prices have been restructured.

Expansion in Berne and in China

The network of correspondents at home and abroad aims to NZZ expand slightly. An additional correspondent position will create the NZZ in China. The Federal House office in Bern will be strengthened - for first-hand information from all theaters that matter, Gujer said. (SDA)

Rod and Migros Bank: Hard work should be rewarded

In an investment campaign for Migros Bank, Rod Kommunikation highlights just how hard many people work for their money.

HighEnd_RZ_MBank_Plakat_Anlegen_Ingenieur_F12_LP_470x224_co_d

If you work hard every day, you should get something out of it - this is what the new campaign of Migros Bank, which was conceived and implemented together with Rod Kommunikation, dramatizes. In various subjects, it is shown in an exaggerated and comprehensible way how much work it takes to be able to put something aside. And those who work hard for their money also want to know that it is in the best hands - the hands of investment professionals.

Migros Bank has investment specialists who know exactly how much hard work is behind an asset and who make no difference whether that asset is larger or smaller. That's why Migros Bank offers careful and absolutely transparent asset management from as little as CHF 5,000, with the promise: "Migros Bank invests your money as if it were its own."

The campaign appears as an online spot, on online banners, in social media, as a display and programmatic online campaign, digital out-of-home, ePanels, on billboards and ads.
