Lindt Kirschstengeli are very special creations of the Maître Chocolatier, because the production with real Swiss Kirsch, which is coated with sugar, chocolate and cocoa, is refined and a well-kept secret.

Lindt Kirschstengeli are the perfect gift for men. Traditionally at Christmas, of course, but not only. That's why KSP creates a whole series of subjects throughout the year for various occasions when men can be given presents. The appearance is classically simple, with two small ads on each page. The campaign appears in various national newspapers and magazines, starting with the ad in the Sunday newspaper for Valentine's Day.

"I am stronger" goes into the second round: With the newly created claim under the proven label "SmokeFree", the Federal Office of Public Health, cantons and NGOs encourage people to remain true to giving up cigarettes altogether and to enjoy life as a non-smoker to the fullest. The campaign, designed by Havas Worldwide Zurich, focuses on strengthening motivation for the long-term success of quitting smoking and also involves the environment of smokers and ex-smokers.
On print subjects, on TV and in banners, the known from the first campaign year cloud of smoke and provides a view of protagonists advertising various support services.

A new addition is the community idea: In collaboration with 20 Minuten, teams of two are being sought as part of the "SmokeFree Challenge," in which a smoking person is motivated by a buddy to give up smoking by means of a spectacular bet. The central element here is the "SmokeFree Buddy App," which was successfully launched back in 2015. With the help of the app, the buddy finds encouraging messages and the right tips at moments when the desire of the person wanting to quit is particularly strong.

At Smokefree.ch the 20 Minute Challenge can be followed and ex-smokers can share their experiences of how they managed to quit smoking.

From 2012 to 2015, the Zürcher Kantonalbank rebuilt its headquarters on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich. The construction work on the listed building was documented during the construction period. From this, Zürcher Kantonalbank has now published the book "Der Wandel baut mit. Reconstruction Stories of the Headquarters of the Zürcher Kantonalbank". Concept, editing and graphic design were carried out by the Lucerne agency Minz.
In eight chapters, representatives of the bank and the executing architects describe various aspects of the conversion. The focus is on texts about the conceptual adaptation of the building to the needs of customers and bank employees, about architectural and structural challenges such as raising the ceiling of the customer hall, and about the artistic design of the building. In a journal for architects, builders and investors, the architects report on the special challenges of converting a landmark office building. The book is richly illustrated with art photographs by Nina Mann.

Zürcher Kantonalbank commissioned Minz, Agentur für visuelle Kommunikation, Lucerne, with the graphic design. Their challenge was to develop a graphic concept according to the rules of book design that is both entertaining and informative. The result is a publication that appeals to interested laymen and experts alike in an aesthetically convincing form.

The result is not at all typical for a bank. The book's readers seem to like that: The first edition of 2500 copies was sold out after just three weeks. A second edition of 2,000 more copies is currently in production.

Lars Tinnefeld, an email marketing expert at Trusted Shops, provides online store owners with an overview and explains what’s important when analyzing results.
1. delivery rate
How many recipients does your email actually have? The delivery rate will tell you. Emails that cannot be delivered are called bounces (see also: bounce rate). Hard bounces are emails that were rejected immediately. Common reasons for this include a missing domain or a missing account. In contrast, soft bounces can only be temporarily undeliverable, such as when an inbox is full. To calculate the delivery rate, subtract the number of bounces from the total number of emails sent, divide the result by the total number of emails sent, and multiply by 100.
2. opening rates
The open rate indicates, as a percentage, how many of the emails sent or delivered were actually opened. The open rate can be calculated as either total or unique. For the total open rate, the number of total opens is divided by the number of emails delivered, and the result is multiplied by 100. For the unique open rate, only emails opened exactly once are counted.
3. click rates
The click-through rate measures how many clicks actually occurred relative to the number of emails delivered. For example, the total click-through rate is 14.3 percent if, out of 1,000 emails delivered, the content was clicked 143 times. In addition to the total click-through rate, the unique or effective unique click-through rate can also be used.
4. conversion rate
The conversion rate measures the actual number of actions taken by the recipient after clicking on an email on a website. This can be, for example, a sale or a download using an email address (lead).
5. deregistration rate
This key figure is used to determine the percentage of newsletter recipients who unsubscribe from a newsletter after it has been sent.
6. bounce rate
Bounces are notifications of undelivered emails that are automatically sent back to the sender. This is the percentage of emails returned by the mail servers in relation to the total number of emails sent.
7. benchmarks
All the figures you have calculated won't help if you don't set yourself personal goals by which you can really measure your success in the end. Therefore, set yourself realistic goals: what do you want to achieve, with what effort and by when?

Thanks to a new cheese dairy, Hervé Darbellay can continue to produce fine alpine cheese with an AOC label on the "Alpage du Coeur" at the foot of the Great Saint Bernard in Valais. Since there is a small solar system on the Gre Alp in Obersaxen in the canton of Graubünden, Mirja Kauer and Lorenz Casanova no longer have to cook in the evenings by headlamp. And thanks to a simple new home with an attached bright, airy barn, the farm of the Tomamichel family of mountain farmers from Bosco Gurin is ready for the next generation. As different as the projects supported are, they all have one thing in common: Thanks to the support of the donors, the future of the committed people in the mountains is secured.

Alibaba held a stake of just over five percent at the end of last year, according to information filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over the weekend. A Groupon spokesperson told the financial service Bloomberg that the discount coupon specialist only found out about Alibaba's stake from the announcement. At Groupon, restaurants, service providers and other businesses can offer discount coupons to attract customers. In addition, Groupon itself sells goods at a discount. The company grew rapidly in the first few years, but a hasty international expansion then resulted in high losses. Last September, Groupon announced in the USA that 1100 of its estimated 12,000 employees worldwide would be made redundant. The provider also announced its intention to withdraw from seven countries. Groupon has now also discontinued its service in Switzerland. (SDA)

The new layout introduced a year ago was quickly well received, "but our emphasis on content was not," writes Südostschweiz editor-in-chief Martina Fehr on the front page of the paper on Monday. It was time to change that. The desire for more regional stories was omnipresent. The editor-in-chief wants to meet this need with immediate effect. Regional stories are to be given more space. In addition, the entire first newspaper bundle will become a regional section. Regional stories are also to stand out in the reporting from the Federal Parliament. According to the editor-in-chief, the paper is relying on a regional editor who "closely accompanies our parliamentarians in Bern and classifies, analyzes and comments on political decisions from a Graubünden perspective."
