Surveys show that many Swiss people are unsure about preparing meat. "Swiss meat" has taken up the issue and commissioned Polyconsult to develop the first app that shows how to prepare meat perfectly. It is divided into four sections:- Meat preparation: 34 videos and step-by-step photo instructions explain all the important preparation methods in simple terms.- Cooking school: In ten lessons, beginners learn how to cook complete menus with the help of videos and photo instructions.- Good to know: How do I carve a chicken? What does "saignant" actually mean? This section provides answers and valuable tips for preparing meat.- Recipes: A collection of inspiring meat preparation ideas rounds off the Academy's offering.- The app has an integrated meat thermometer function. And because clean hands are rare in the kitchen, the photo instructions can be turned over without touching them using hand movements. "Swiss Meat Academy" is now available in the App Store and on Google Play. The app is being launched with a broad-based campaign and is already top-ranked in the "Food and Drink" category. It is also among the master nominees for the Best of Swiss Apps Award 2015.
