Since last week, perhaps the largest hidden pictures in Switzerland have been decorating the Mall of Switzerland. The largest measures almost 30 square meters. At four prominent locations, the illustrations invite young and old to a special egg hunt. Excerpts of the hidden object pictures were used in the form of teasers online and on posters and advertisements to prominently promote the campaign. The egg hunt will run up to and including Easter Monday, with family prizes worth 10,000 Swiss francs.

Graubünden Ferien's "Grandparents Advance Sale" campaign honored as best cross-media campaign

The Goldbach Crossmedia Award was presented for the 15th time on Wednesday evening in the Samsung Hall. The "Grosseltern Vorverkauf" campaign by Graubünden Ferien with its cult ibexes Gian and Giachen from Graubünden Ferien won the award. Of the 21 campaigns submitted, Jung von Matt/Limmat impressed the jury the most.

The Goldbach Crossmedia Award was presented for the 15th time this evening. For the second time, the event took place as part of the Best of Swiss Web Award Night in the Samsung Hall. The 12-member independent jury of experts, headed by Marco Taborelli (Marco Taborelli Consulting), chose the "Grosseltern Vorverkauf" campaign by Jung von Matt/Limmat.

The children's book "Gian and Giachen and the shooting star mountain" was available for purchase exclusively by grandparents for two weeks in April 2018. With this campaign, Graubünden Ferien wanted to give grandparents and their grandchildren unforgettable moments, as they announced in a press release. Around 80 bookshops throughout Switzerland were enthusiastic about the idea of this exclusive pre-sale and took part. Grandparents had to identify themselves at the checkout with a photo, a drawing or a letter from their grandchildren - or they brought their grandchildren to the pre-sale themselves. The pre-sale was activated via various media channels and lifted the book to number 1 on the bestseller list on the very first day of sales. "We are incredibly proud of the award, because it can be seen as recognition of how much attention to detail went into this cross-media and sales-driven campaign. From the order button in the online store to the activation at the PoS, this campaign radiates human warmth everywhere. The purpose of bringing generations together with the help of the book was fully achieved," said a visibly delighted Dennis Lück on winning gold.

In addition to the winning campaign, the second and third place winners were also honored at the Crossmedia Award. The "Rivella Unlimited Bottle" campaign by Notch Interactive received silver. And third place went to AMAG Import I Division Audi with its campaign "the Audi e-Hub", the launch campaign for the Audi E-Tron. This campaign was realized by MediaCom Switzerland.

Even after 15 years, Michi Frank, CEO of Goldbach, is still passionate about the event: "This year, too, I am delighted with the various campaigns we have seen. It makes you realize what media can do today and how we can combine them optimally."

DD COM implements cross-media Easter campaign for Sprüngli

The agency DD COM realized an Easter campaign for Sprüngli under the claim "Where Easter is at home" and relies on cross-media storytelling.

schaufenster-klein

A festively set brunch table, lots of chocolate and - of course - an Easter bunny. DD COM created a campaign for Sprüngli to show that Easter is at home at Sprüngli. The key visual, which lets you look through a keyhole at a set dining table, forms the centerpiece of the cross-media campaign. Other atmospheric images and illustrations are used channel-specifically in brochures, advertisements, banners, and window elements, as well as on the homepage and social media. The common thread of the storytelling is the Easter bunny Nico, who - photographed or illustrated - can be found in almost every visual and tells Sprüngli's Easter story, from the creation and production of Easter specialties to inspiration for the brunch table at home.

Responsible at DD COM: Daniel Müri (creative direction); Peter von Ah (art direction); Remy-Pascal Bernert (consulting/strategy); Tobias Koenen (digital); Daniel Föllmi (graphics/illustration); Toni Russo (motion design); Martin Rüegg (campaign claim/headlines); Debora Raimondi (image editing); Werner Kim (realization). Beat Krebs leaves Publicis Media

Beat Krebs, CEO of Publicis Media Switzerland, is leaving the media agency group at his own request, effective the end of September, to take on a new challenge outside of Publicis Media.

beatkrebs

Krebs joined the agency group as COO in March 2013 and was appointed CEO of the former agency ZenithOptimedia in the fall. He previously held various positions at the OmnicomMediaGroup.

The strong management team built up under Krebs in recent years will now continue to run the operating business as before until Krebs' successor is announced in the coming months.

Frank-Peter Lortz, CEO Publicis Media DACH, said in a press release: "Beat has successfully restructured and developed our media agencies in Switzerland with the support of the operational management team. Together with his management team, he has merged Starcom and Zenith as independent agency brands under the umbrella of Publicis Media and built up consulting teams and practices based on the international model. Publicis Media was able to position itself as one of the leading agencies in the online sector in particular and was able to offer programmatic solutions earlier than others. Today, the agency group is economically successful and can look back on solid growth over the past few years. This is also reflected in the client wins such as Coty, Generali, Mercedes Benz and L'Oréal. We would like to thank Beat for the trustful cooperation. We wish him all the best, both professionally and personally."

PR-Suisse

Award founder Roland Bieri and former project manager Daniel Bieri are stepping down from the operational management of the award after 15 years and handing over the management to the sponsoring association. The Swiss Public Relations Association SPRV (PR Suisse) is now the sole owner of the trademark rights.

Under the new management, the national award is taking a break this year and is postponing the next event to 2020 with the Award Night. PR Suisse will provide information about the call for entries and the dates in due course. "With this step, we want to continue to develop the award sustainably, maintain our quality standards and network even better within the industry," says "pr suisse" President Judith Lauber.

Under the founding duo Roland and Daniel Bieri, the award has developed into a well-known quality brand over the last 15 years. It is supported by a broad circle of patrons, volunteers and sponsors from German and French-speaking Switzerland. "It would not have been possible without the passion and many hours of unpaid work of everyone involved," says founder Roland Bieri. "The IAM's involvement at the ZHAW has given it an additional profile in the specialist discussion," adds Daniel Bieri.

Since the award was founded, its independent jury of experts has presented a total of 30 "Iron Communicators". This is the highest award for networked and efficient corporate communication. Winners in recent years have included ABB/Serviceplan, SBB, Die Post/Jung von Matt/Limmat and the City of Winterthur.

Localsearch enters the key service business

Localsearch is launching LocalXpress, an online service that connects customers with emergency locksmiths at a fixed price throughout Switzerland. The new platform is designed to ensure price transparency for locksmith services and aims to stand out with a convenient live tracker.

Localsearch, digital agency for Swiss SMEs and operator of Local.ch and Search.ch, launches LocalXpress, an online intermediary for emergency door openings. The service mediates contact between foreclosed apartment dwellers and registered locksmiths, providing both parties with an Uber-like platform to do so.

LocalXpress is based on a transparent fixed-price model and clearly regulated terms and conditions. This is intended to make nasty surprises and price disputes after the door has been opened a thing of the past. LocalXpress also wants to put an end to worries about missing cash: in addition to cash payment, participating locksmiths at least also offer payment by card or invoice. Another user-friendly feature is the live tracker. The location function is integrated into the platform and allows the user to track the current whereabouts of the ordered locksmith.

For opening a locked door, the associated locksmiths charge fixed prices valid throughout Switzerland. These are published transparently on the LocalXpress platform. Only the material costs, for example for a new cylinder, are additionally charged to the customer by the locksmith. Use of the service is free of charge for consumers.

All key services that have an advertising product from Localsearch can register with the LocalXpress mediation service. LocalXpress is already available in many regions of German and French-speaking Switzerland, and an integration of Ticino is in the works. The service will be continuously expanded in the coming months, according to the statement.
