Watson blogger Emma Amour has her own book: A collection of the best stories by Emma Amour and her best friend Kid Cleo is now available in a 160-page volume.

image_half-01-buchcover-auf-transparent3

After countless stories from her love and sex life, hundreds of answered user questions, numerous rejected meetings with admirers, some Liebesbriefli, 17 Dick- and two Füdlipics it was high time that Emma Amour summarizes her favorite contributions after almost exactly three years in a book, as Watson writes in a statement on Thursday.

"The book joins one of the important measures we will increasingly strengthen with further projects as part of 'Brand Icon,'" explains Tarkan Özküp, Chief Commercial Officer at Watson. "With Emma Amour and Kid Cleo, we are launching the first Watson book under sublicense from AT Verlag, owned by Peter Wanner, our publisher. The texts have long ceased to be an insider's tip among women. No man admits it, but everyone reads the pieces. Not a phenomenon, but pleasant cinema in the head in the overstimulation."

On 160 pages, Emma Amour answers user questions that provoked an enormous number of comments and were controversially discussed. She also gives advice on how to avoid being wiped to the left every time you're single in the age of dating apps.

Peppered with the stories of her bi-BFF Kid Cleo and her own stories about sex, love and dating, the book is for every single person who still believes in the great love, it says further. But also for lovers, the work is a humorous tribute to what they miss everything (not).

The book "Emma Amour and Kid Cleo - Love, Sex and Other Escapades" is available from Friday in stores and at Watson-books.ch available for 18 francs. The Column by Emma Amour is published regularly on Monday and Thursday.

Webstages: Influencers enjoy Veganuary with V-Love products from Migros

Webstages launched an influencer campaign for Veganuary on behalf of the new Migros brand, V-Love. As part of the campaign, 16 influencers produced over 170 posts, generating approximately 400,000 organic interactions.

The launch of Veganuary marked the start of Migros' #VLoveYou challenge for twelve influencers who normally consume meat. The influencers were accompanied by four "veganistas" who already follow a vegan diet. By including both vegans and non-vegans, the aim was to establish a dialog and build a bridge between the two "food camps".

At the beginning of each week, the "Veganistas" inspired the audience with their favorite recipe for the respective weekly theme, such as main dishes, breakfast or desserts. They also challenged six influencers who are not yet vegan to cook a vegan dish to match the theme using one of the new Migros V-Love products. This challenge was then published as a gallery post on Instagram. The picture post shows the finished dish as well as the products used to increase the recognition value.

Over 170 posts were produced and published for the entire campaign, consisting of videos, image posts and stories on Instagram. The influencer community also actively participated in the campaign and, according to Webstages, a total of over 400,000 interactions were achieved.

As an additional help, the "veganistas" created guides with collections of their vegan recipes to match the respective focus week. The influencers tagged each other so that the community knew where they could get the latest tips and recipes in the coming days.

Each post was accompanied by a multi-part Instagram story. Campaign-specific GIF stickers were created especially for the campaign, which the influencers used in their stories to increase the brand's recognition value.

The influencers included Sara Leutenegger, Antonella Patitucci, Carlo Cao and Alison Liaudat.
The posts were tagged with #VLoveMigros on Instagram. The hashtag was intended to encourage the community to take part in the challenge without being dogmatic and demanding - quite in the sense of the V-Love claim.

Twitter permanently blocks Trump

Twitter sees no way back for former President Donald Trump, who has been banned from the platform. «Our rules are designed to ensure that no one incites violence. If someone does that, we remove them from the platform—and our rules do not allow people to return,» Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal said Wednesday on CNBC.

twitter-trump-aktien

Twitter had suspended Trump in early January about two weeks before the end of his term. It was triggered by his supporters storming the U.S. Capitol - and the president expressing sympathy for them and continuing to claim, without evidence, that victory in the presidential election had been stolen from him through massive fraud.

Facebook also subsequently blocked Trump; however, the online network is now having the move reviewed by an independent panel that can overturn the company's decision. Twitter does not have such a body.

"The way our rules work: If you've been removed from the platform, you've been removed from the platform - whether you're a commentator, a chief financial officer or a former or sitting public servant," Segal said.

The Twitter account, with more than 80 million subscribers, was Trump's most important communication channel for years. After controversial tweets by the president, there were repeated calls for the short message service to block it, at least temporarily. Twitter balked at this until the attack on the Capitol, limiting itself to warnings about, among other things, false claims about the outcome of the US presidential election and the Corona virus. Swiss youth spend more than five hours a day on their cell phones

The Gen-Z report by the Zurich agency Xeit reveals the smartphone usage behavior of Swiss youth. The result is hardly surprising: the young are constantly online.

genz-report-xeit-gmbh

It may not be groundbreaking knowledge that Generation Z - those born between 1997 and 2012 - are constantly on their cell phones. But it's still surprising that young people spend more than five hours a day on their cell phones. This doesn't even include other screens such as tablet, lapop or TV. The up-and-coming platform is TikTok.

The data comes from an analysis by the Zurich digital agency Xeit, which evaluated the effective smartphone usage behavior of almost 100 Swiss young people over the course of a month and derived findings for marketing.

Nothing works without smartphone and social media

On average, Generation Z spends 37 hours a week on their cell phones, which corresponds to a 90 percent workload. By far, young men and women spend the most time on social media apps such as Instagram, Snapchat and increasingly TikTok, which they use for chatting and networking.

Interestingly, one fifth of the study participants still have the Facebook app installed - even if it is hardly used - while e-mail or an e-mail app is no longer used at all by one third of the young people surveyed.

On the other hand, gaming and streaming - music, series and movies - are very popular. While there are no differences between the genders in terms of average cell phone time and the popularity of social media in general, they are all the more exciting when it comes to gaming and the popularity of the individual social media platforms.

Importance of screen time for marketing

Generation Z is already a significant target group for many industries, and it will become increasingly important in the future. Accordingly, it is central to know and understand the young people, their interests and their online behavior. Which platform is best suited for contacting the young and in what form can be derived from the evaluation. As far as the timing of a possible interaction is concerned, it was also confirmed: Generation Z is almost always accessible.

For the Gen-Z Report has Xeit evaluated screen time and real cell phone usage on the basis of screenshots taken by participants between the ages of 13 and 19. The screenshots of the usage activities regularly sent in by the study participants each show the average weekly screen time and usage time of various apps, over a total period of four weeks. Ninety-five adolescents took part.

The Gen-Z report can be downloaded from the Website of Xeit can be requested.

Bernese government council for better protection of minors and four Sunday sales

The Canton of Bern intends to regulate the sale of e-cigarettes by law and allow retail stores to sell on four Sundays per year, instead of the current two. The cantonal government supports these two proposals, on which Bern’s voters will decide on March 7, 2021.

Both projects are part of a revision of the Trade and Commerce Act. While the improved protection of minors with regard to e-cigarettes is undisputed in the government and parliament, opinions differ on Sunday sales, as Cantonal Councillor for Economic Affairs Christoph Ammann (SP) explained to the media in Bern on Wednesday.

Three answers

In order to prevent the entire revision of the law from failing in the event of a no vote on one of the two projects, voters can decide on two variants.

The main motion, which is supported by the government and parliament, includes the undisputed e-cigarette regulation and the extension of Sunday sales from the current two to four per year. The contingent motion also includes the undisputed e-cigarette regulation, but no extension of Sunday sales.

Finally, the voters are also asked which motion they prefer if both are accepted. A total of three voting questions must therefore be answered.

The cantonal government supports the main proposal, as Ammann explained. With two additional Sunday sales, the retail trade could be made more competitive. This has not only been under pressure since the coronavirus crisis. Online retail and shopping tourism were already putting it under pressure before the crisis.

Work on Sundays should be voluntary for staff and paid with a wage supplement, as Ammann stated. Sunday sales will not increase working hours.

Opponents have successfully launched a referendum against the revision of the retail law. They criticize the fact that large distributors and chain stores in particular benefit from the additional Sundays, while smaller stores hardly benefit at all. Staff are threatened with a deterioration in working conditions, which are all too often already precarious. In addition, Sundays should remain work-free, according to the demand mainly from the ranks of Christian parties.

Bourgeois circles are in favor of extending Sunday sales.

Equality for e-cigarettes

The canton's intention to subject e-cigarettes to the same legal regulations as other smoking products is undisputed. This is because there is currently no legal regulation for e-cigarettes. Their sale to young people and children is therefore not currently prohibited.

This should change quickly, as the economic director emphasized. Although a solution is also being worked on at federal level, this will not be ready until mid-2023 at the earliest. "But it could also take much longer," Ammann pointed out. It is therefore necessary for the canton to enact its own legislation now.

The new regulation bans the sale of e-cigarettes to under-18s. Advertising is also prohibited. And finally, e-cigarettes are also subject to the same regulations on protection from passive smoking as conventional cigarettes. (SDA)

Publicis and Notch serve up new website for Eichhof

The modern website for the Lucerne-based Eichhof Brewery puts the art of brewing front and center. The website was developed by Publicis and Notch.

1_Titelbild_Eichhof-Presse

With its long brewing tradition as Switzerland's first specialty brewery and the associated craft beer legends, Eichhof stands for the art of brewing like no other beer in Switzerland. With the newly designed website, this is now also evident on Eichhof.ch immediately recognizable.

The light, modern look, the large-scale images and the clear lines put the focus on what is really important: the beers. Micro animations, beer factsheets and "tangible" pack shots are designed to further emphasize this.

In addition to information on the wide range of products, visitors can also learn all about the brewery itself and how Eichhof actually brews art.

The new website is also "crafty" on the back end: In keeping with Eichhof, it has been upgraded with the Craft CMS. After the CI/CD and the packaging of the products were refreshed last year, the redesign of the website and the associated focus on the art of brewing complete the new look.
