Notch Interactive: World Cup competition for Ricardo.ch

Notch Interactive has created a World Cup contest with attractive prizes for Ricardo.ch. The goal of the game is to mow a soccer field as quickly as possible.

Many companies are bringing promotions and campaigns to the pitch for the World Cup. It's not easy to create something eye-catching and new. Notch Interactive has created a World Cup competition for ricardo.ch that ensures relevance even before kick-off: We crown the king of the pitch - no, not a professional footballer, but the best groundsman.
Ricardo.ch commissioned Notch Interactive with the conception and creation of a sweepstake that is involving and as entertaining as possible. In addition, the game should encourage visitors to participate again and again, i.e. during the entire World Cup period.

The most important prerequisite for a successful World Cup match is good preparation. For the teams as well as for the groundsman: Without a well-kept lawn, the ball won't roll smoothly. This is where the World Cup game from Notch Interactive comes in: The aim is to mow the soccer turf as well and as quickly as possible in a given time. By mowing the lawn, the player earns points. And the more often and better he plays, the higher his place on the ranking list. There is an original World Cup ball and other great prizes to be won.

The World Cup game integrates World Cup products from the Ricardo.ch range and also takes up the current campaign of Ricardoshops.ch, Switzerland's new online shopping center. The game is communicated on internal and external banners and runs from the end of May to mid-July 2014. Link to the game: Campaign.ricardo.ch/rasenkoenig

Maxomedia: Visual world created for Swissquote

The Maxomedia agency has created a new visual world for the forex service of the online bank Swissquote. Maxomedia is currently providing Swissquote with an illuminating trade fair presence worldwide.

The new imagery for the forex service, which is important for the European, Asian and Middle Eastern markets, essentially consists of four subjects: four people are literally made to shine by the glowing Swissquote curve. The motifs show that Swissquote shows customers the way to success.

The trade fair appearance

On June 9 and 10, the "13th MENA Forex Show", a trade fair dedicated to foreign exchange trading, will take place in Dubai. Thanks to the new imagery, the online bank is guaranteed to make a brilliant appearance there. The subjects are traveling around the world: the new trade fair appearance has already been used in Rimini, Stuttgart, Cyprus, Dubai, Istanbul, Moscow and Macao. Swissquote has been a partner of the "Mercedes AMG Petronas" Formula 1 team since the beginning of the year. For this reason, the two stars Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are also illuminated by the Swissquote curve for the trade fairs. True to the motto: Swissquote puts the customer in pole position. The new imagery is not only used at trade fairs (exhibition stand, roll-up and competition card), but also on Swissquote.com/fx, advertisements, an illuminated poster at Geneva Airport and printed bags.

Didier Cuche becomes sports marketer

Competition for Infront Ringier, IMG, and GFC: Former ski stars Didier Cuche and Daniel Mahrer are entering the sports marketing business with their company, Swiss Athlete Marketing & Management.

According to Schweiz am Sonntag, the two former top athletes are shareholders in the marketing company, which was founded two weeks ago and is based in Baar ZG. The target group is active and former top athletes, according to board president Christof Marti. Marti, former head of global UBS sponsoring and event management, previously looked after Cuche himself for four years as a marketing and sponsoring expert. The aim is to offer athletes "all-round support": from the conclusion of advertising, sponsorship and equipment contracts to media relations and media coaching, the company accompanies top athletes during and after their active careers. According to Schweiz am Sonntag, the company's first clients are Cuche and Mahrer himself. Others are to be added soon - according to Marti, the company is in negotiations with several active and former athletes, some of whom are already under contract with other sales marketers. Last but not least: testimonial booze corpse

In Tokyo, sleeping drunks were incorporated into a campaign against alcohol abuse.

Japanese people work hard, long and persistently during the week. Even though attitudes toward work and family are changing in the current generation of 20- and 30-year-olds, and issues such as "work-life balance" are becoming increasingly important, 15-hour days remain the order of the day (Source). All the greater seems to be the need to go over the top at the weekend. People drink until they pass out and fall asleep somewhere. Since many Japanese "suffer" from alcohol intolerance, this does not even require particularly large quantities. According to Case-Movie, the numerous alcohol corpses seem to be part of Tokyo's street scene and do not attract much attention.

The Yaochi bar chain wanted to raise awareness among the public to stop before the capital last drink so that they can make their way home safely. To do so, it enlisted the help of Ogilvy & Mather Tokyo. The agency developed a campaign that transformed sleeping drunks into human posters. Using tape and pre-made lettering, the sleepers were "decorated" in such a way that they became the main characters of a chilling campaign. Using the hashtag #Nomisugi - meaning "too drunk" - passersby were urged not only to take notice of the boozy corpses, but also to photograph them and share them on social media. Without knowing the Japanese data protection law: Presumably, the sleeping people will have been actors. Nevertheless, the campaign does not seem to have missed its mark. And perhaps in the future, one or the other passerby will ask himself whether he really wants to be in the place of one of the sleeping booze corpses next weekend. (hae)

Znip Znap: Töfflibuebe Game for Ticino Turismo

Znip Znap designed and realized the "Töfflibuebe" game for Ticino Turismo to match the current TV commercial. Participants play to win instant and weekly prizes while discovering what Ticino has to offer.

The Spot shows the former motorcyclists from the 80s that they can now get to Ticino in two hours.

//www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyaCjKrW2Sk

The competition adds an emotional charge to the message of the TV commercial and makes it a fun experience. The online motorcycle tour starts on the Gotthard at the border with Ticino, after the participant has chosen their 3D motorcycle and their Bueb from the TV commercial. By turning the Gazosa bottle, the moped moves forward in a southerly direction. Event fields on the tour ensure that it is never really boring, just like on a real motorcycle trip, according to a press release. While various breakdowns delay the journey, the many prize partners such as mountain railroads, e-bikes and boats ensure that you can reach your destination in Chiasso even faster without a moped and thus make it into the weekly rankings. The top eight in the ranking list win hotel accommodation and other prizes every week. Additional points for the weekly ranking are awarded to those who invite their Facebook friends and, above all, those who answer the many bonus questions about the prize partners. These questions are used to learn the USPs of the individual prize partners and Ticino. In addition to the weekly prizes, participants also regularly win instant prizes while playing.

The game, which was created together with Znip Znap's partner agency Seitenkick, recreates the Ticino landscape and its many tourist attractions with great attention to detail and is integrated into the Ticino Turismo website as an iFrame. Each of the total of 15 game regions also has its own typical background noises - in addition to the motorcycle sound - so that you can imagine yourself in Ticino while playing. The game definitely whets the appetite for more, for Ticino.

The Töfflibuebe game has been running successfully for over a month and has already been completed over 15,000 times. An entire tour lasts around twelve minutes, which means that participants have very long and intensive contact with the Ticino Turismo offer on the website. As with all Znip Znap online competitions, the tried-and-tested Game Center is used, where, in addition to user handling, the instant prize vouchers (PDFs) are automatically generated and can be downloaded by the winners.

Kampaweb: Solidar campaign shows effect

Kampaweb's campaign for Solidar is having an impact: 10,000 protest emails have already been sent to Sepp Blatter in just four days. In addition, FIFA appears to be showing its first signs of yielding.

For about a week, Solidar Suisse has been calling on people to send Fifa President Sepp Blatter a protest mail (Werbewoche.ch reported). The reason: During the World Cup in Brazil, Fifa is banning street vendors from the stadiums where they normally offer their wares, thus depriving them of their livelihood. Only the products of the official Fifa sponsors - Coca Cola, Budweiser, McDonalds - are allowed for sale. This is just one of many examples of how unfair the World Cup is for the people in the host country.

For the Online presence of the campaign Solidar Suisse uses Kampatools for the first time, the online campaign toolkit from Drupal and Salsa by Kampaweb. With this platform, all imaginable actions can be realized; from petition and protest mail actions to donation pages. The new four-language action site of Solidar Suisse comes in the colors of the World Cup host Brazil - in blue, yellow and green. The site is fully responsive, so it is optimized for all devices, from smartphones to tablets to desktop computers.

The centerpiece of the campaign is the video in which Sepp Blatter sweeps across the soccer field and fouls a street vendor with a vendor's tray in such a way that all his belongings fly through the air. Over 35'000 people have seen the shocker video with Sepp Blatterss foul. The call for protest has already been followed by over 9700 people from 85 countries in just four days. They have sent Sepp Blatter a personal email sent to the presidential mailbox. Almost 90 percent of the participants responded to a call via e-mail, but Facebook and YouTube also played an important role in the mobilization. Numerous media outlets have also reported on the action, for example. Daily Gazette, Watson or RTS. According to Fifa, it has now started accrediting 3000 street traders, read more at. Action.solidar.ch.

Eva Geel, Head of Communications and Campaigns at Solidar Suisse, is delighted: "The complete integration of the campaign website with the contact database, online campaigns and email marketing allows us to communicate with our supporters in a personalized, efficient and targeted way. This gives Solidar yet another significant boost in campaigning power." The protest mail campaign is the first of several online actions, according to the release.

Switzerland Tourism focuses on the Swiss brand

Since important tourist regions abroad are largely unknown, Jürg Schmid, head of Switzerland Tourism, plans to focus more on Switzerland as a brand, according to the NZZ am Sonntag.

The results of a representative study commissioned by Switzerland Tourism in Germany, England and France are sobering: only six percent of those surveyed said they would like to visit Switzerland. This puts it in a distant 10th place - even its direct competitor Austria was able to place itself well ahead of Switzerland in 8th place. The top destination of choice is Spain (52 percent), ahead of Italy and France. The study shows that many Swiss tourist brands are virtually unknown abroad. For example, only five percent of respondents spontaneously thought of Valais as a vacation destination - and the situation is even worse for Ticino and Graubünden. Regions such as Central Switzerland, Appenzellerland and the Bernese Oberland are not mentioned at all. The Mattherhorn and cities such as Zurich and Geneva fare better.

Switzerland as a vacation destination, on the other hand, is familiar to all those surveyed. For Jürg Schmid, the conclusion to be drawn from this is clear, as he explained to the NZZ am Sonntag: In the future, Switzerland must be marketed abroad as a single destination, as a large tourist experience area. Cooperation instead of going it alone - this is the only way to have a chance as a niche provider. For the coming winter, Switzerland Tourism wants to launch a central campaign in Germany under the umbrella of "Switzerland". According to Schmid, all Swiss regions would participate. In Germany, the most important foreign market, bookings for Swiss overnight stays declined the most among all countries of origin in March 2014. (hae/NZZaS)

Bollmann: Personal reasons, not Blocher

Rolf Bollmann's move to the Funke Media Group has fallen through. In an interview with *Schweiz am Sonntag*, he denied the *Süddeutsche Zeitung*'s speculation that Bollmann's former employer was responsible for the deal's collapse.

The Swiss publishing manager Bollmann should have been in charge of the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung. But that has now come to nothing. For the Süddeutsche Zeitung, in a letter published on May 28 Article The reason why "the commitment to the rather social democratic employer" would not work out was clear: "His former Employer and his political positions" were responsible for the premature termination of the contract. Bollmann had reorganized the Basler Zeitung on behalf of Christoph Blocher, who was known in Germany "above all as a right-wing populist and xenophobe". This had turned it into the "mouthpiece of right-wing populists". According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the threat of this happening to the WAZ "would not have been acceptable to readers in the Ruhr region". Erich Brost, a co-founder of the newspaper, was an SPD member and had to flee from the Nazis.

The interpretation of the German media is wrong, Rolf Bollmann told Schweiz am Sonntag. He had asked the Funke management to release him from the agreement for personal, family reasons. Although the Süddeutsche Zeitung wrote the next day that the official story was "about his wife's illness", it maintained its own interpretation. The shareholders had only realized in the past few days "what an egg had been laid in their nest by the management". The personnel change was initiated by former Tamedia boss Martin Kall, who sits on the supervisory board of the Funke Group. Kall has appointed Bollmann to the Interview with Werbewoche as an "innovative mind who has a good eye for young talent, but has also already established companies in a healthy and sustainable way". "He has convinced his colleagues in Germany, otherwise he wouldn't be here now," says Kall. (hae)

BSSM makes classifieds big for Kestenholz

BSSM is constantly developing new designs for the Kestenholz Group’s small and occasional ads. These designs are always tailored to the specific context in which they appear and establish a connection to the vehicle depicted.

With this agency service, the largest Mercedes dealership in northwestern Switzerland and southern Baden makes a virtue out of necessity. It can meet the various expectations of different stakeholders and still give its brand an independent profile. "Classified ads are also advertising and pay just as much into the brand as a stately campaign. That's why they also deserve creativity," says BSSM copywriter Hannes Müller.
