Last but not least: Oh Lord, let it rain brains
You can donate many organs. Not the brain. And that's for the best, according to a campaign by Duval Guillaume.

The December 6, 2013 report in the news program "19:30 le journal" was not appropriate, Giroud criticized in his complaint. Inaccurate facts and a one-sided picture of him had been conveyed and the presumption of innocence had not been taken into account. The UBI rejected the complaint during a public deliberation on Friday - but by a narrow margin of five votes to four. The majority was of the opinion that viewers of the program could form their own opinion "despite some shortcomings." Those UBI members who wanted to approve Giroud's complaint were critical, among other things, of the question of whether the presumption of innocence was taken into account in the RTS report. The UBI's decision can be appealed to the Federal Supreme Court. Giroud's spokesman Marc Comina left open on Friday whether the complainants will take this legal action.
Convicted of tax offenses
The Vaud prosecutor's office sentenced Giroud in July to a conditional fine of 180 daily rates of 300 Swiss francs each for tax offenses in a penalty order. A second trial on suspicion of fraud, forgery of goods and forgery of documents is still pending. In addition, criminal proceedings are underway in the canton of Geneva against Dominique Giroud and three others for hacking into journalists' computers. (SDA)

Humorous short videos form the core of the campaign - they show people who save in a complicated way, and immediately point out that saving can also be easier. The videos, together with the health insurer's premium calculator, are located on a responsive landing page that can thus be optimally used by users on all devices.
Various online and offline measures (banners, ads, the Sanagate Facebook page, a 20-minute fake cover, regional radio spots, posters, unaddressed mailings) promote the video. Entertaining social media measures are also planned to involve the community: Posts and videos about saving money and a mini-competition. The digital media agency Neo@Ogilvy is responsible for media planning. For this extensive and demanding campaign, it is relying on branding, performance ads with real-time bidding, mobile and video seeding.

In September, for example, the value of beverage ads slumped by 23.8 percent, according to a media release issued Friday by market research institute Media Focus. From January to September, on the other hand, there was an increase of 5.4 percent compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, there was more advertising for telecommunications services: Advertising pressure from the telecommunications industry increased by 65.6 percent. The lion's share of this was shared among the four industry giants Swisscom, UPC Cablecom, Sunrise and Orange. (SDA)

Feldschlösschen catches the eye
The beverage market is down this month with -23.8 percent advertising pressure. Whereas in September 2013, an average of 50,000 Swiss francs per advertised product was still identified, this September it was just 37,000 Swiss francs. But there is no reason to worry: if you look at the beverage market over the last three years, the market is still growing. Year to date, the market is also showing an increase of 5.4 percent compared to the previous year. Feldschlösschen is particularly striking in this respect. With an advertising print of 4.5 million Swiss francs for the product "Feldschlösschen Original", this is 50 times the usual advertising volume. This is because an average of 90,000 Swiss francs was invested per advertised beverage in the current year.
Top 5 Flights 2014
In first place among the newly advertised products is the iPhone 5S, with an advertising print of CHF 9.8 million. The Apple product is followed by the Sunrise Freedom subscription with an advertising print of CHF 7.7 million. Another podium position was achieved by the Samsung Galaxy S5, which entered the advertising environment with 5.4 million Swiss francs, finishing ahead of the "No to mass immigration" initiative (4.6 million). It was followed closely by UPC Cablecom's Horizon Start Duo product in fifth place with 4.5 million Swiss francs.
Four elephants in the telecommunications market
The top newcomers mentioned above give us an idea of the advertising strength of the telecommunications industry. A full 65.6 percent more advertising pressure was recorded in September compared to the same month last year! The current 12th largest advertising market (YTD) counts a total of 216 advertisers, with the following main protagonists accounting for the most striking share: Swisscom, UPC Cablecom, Sunrise and Orange. Over the past six years, these four elephants have consistently participated with an advertising print share of between 63 and 70 percent within the industry, which has recorded an advertising print of CHF 2.4 billion over ten years. A look back also shows that 30 percent of the annual volume was always built up in the last three months. So the good news also comes last: If it turns out to be a good year, as in 2012, there is still another 100 million in advertising print to be allocated in the weeks up to the end of the year. The advertising space providers should be pleased!

In the eyes of the UBI, the SRF broadcast did not violate the requirement of factual fairness laid down in the Radio and Television Act. Nor did it violate the increased duty of care that must be fulfilled in the run-up to votes. The report was broadcast about a month before the referendum on the Gripen procurement. Among other things, it raised the question of whether the procurement of new fighter jets was necessary in view of the threat situation. A German political scientist and security advisor also had his say, describing the Gripen procurement as unnecessary. The Swiss fleet was also compared with that of Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary. A recorded conversation with Defense Minister Ueli Maurer was then broadcast, in which he voiced harsh criticism of the report. It was "tendentious". It was precisely this criticism that was taken up in a popular complaint received by the UBI. In addition to the "lack of objectivity", the complainants also criticized the "disrespectful way in which "Rundschau" presenter Sandro Brotz conducted the interview".
Criticism of expert selection
In assessing the handling, the nine members of the UBI were unanimous: the moderator had shown the necessary respect to the Federal Council. However, two UBI members felt that the increased duty of care in the run-up to votes had been violated. In particular, the choice of the German political scientist was criticized. It was true that his connection to the SP had been made transparent. As a civilian expert, however, he enjoyed greater credibility than the military experts who had their say. The audience automatically counted the latter as Gripen supporters, while the political scientist was "above the fray. The UBI also voiced criticism about the choice of comparator countries. Finally, the commission rejected the complaint by 7 votes to 2. The public had been able to form its own opinion. And: Federal Councillor Maurer had been given sufficient opportunity to respond to the criticism of the Gripen procurement raised in the article. UBI President Roger Blum also pointed out that Maurer in particular had urged the media to deal unsparingly with the authorities. This was exemplified by the "Rundschau" report.
Over 100 complaints
The "Rundschau" broadcast on April 16 also had the SRG ombudsman's office kept on the go. The ombudsman Achille Casanova received over 100 complaints. However, Casanova rejected these all off. It is true that the report "did not meet the high standards of balance required in the run-up to a referendum". However, the one-sidedness of the contribution was "largely cured" by the subsequent discussion with Maurer. (SDA)

The agency celebrated a lavish party with around 300 invited guests. And it was held right where the story of the storyteller began. The agency's premises and the 800 square meter inner courtyard of the industrial building at Usm station, where the offices are located, were elaborately redecorated with great attention to detail to create a fairground. The interior alone was laid with 4 tons of real turf to make the atmosphere as authentic as possible. There were also a wide variety of fairground stalls with many attractions such as gun throwing, arrow shooting, delicious ice cream and much more.

The guests - all customers, partners, friends and employees - enjoyed hours of merriment under an enchanting late summer night starry sky. With many culinary highlights and spectacular music acts. The party went on until late into the night. All pictures of the event can be found in the Picture gallery.

The new Walder,Werber website went live just in time for the anniversary event: Walderwerber.ch
Selected NGOs were mailed a donation box, such as those often used by marginalized people in pedestrian zones as a communication tool, and asked to "donate" their attention to the agency at the airport. The mailing has already won gold at the BoB Best of "Business-to-Business" Communication Award and silver at the DMVÖ Columbus.

"The film manages to engage a wide audience in an intelligent and humorous way by showcasing the beauty and core values of the destination." This is the statement of the jury, which selected the film from numerous submissions from all over Europe. According to the ETC, film formats represent the most important medium in today's world for inspiring travelers to discover new vacation destinations. The film, conceived by Leo Burnett Switzerland and realized by director Michael Fueter, formed the centerpiece of Switzerland Tourism's winter campaign in 2013.
Through the majority takeover at Dietschi AG, the publisher of the Oltner Tagblatt, AZ Medien now also indirectly holds a 21.9 percent stake in Solothurn's Radio 32, according to a statement. In addition to daily newspapers (including Aargauer Zeitung) and television (Tele Züri, Tele M1, Tele Bärn, TV24), Peter Wanner's group also controls the two licensed FM stations Radio 24 and Radio Argovia.
Under the Radio and Television Act (RTVG), a company may own an unlimited number of radio and television stations, but no more than two stations each with a license. The Uvek concludes that it is neither legally nor factually possible for Dietschi - and thus indirectly AZ Medien - to exercise a determining influence on the licensed Radio 32. Radio 32's license can therefore not be attributed to the AZ Medien Group - in this respect it does not exceed the maximum number of licensed stations. Since the change of ownership at Dietschi does not result in any change at Radio 32, all licensing requirements can still be considered fulfilled. The Uvek has therefore approved AZ Medien's indirect holding in Radio 32.
The RTVA stipulates that any change in shareholding of more than 20 percent in a licensed broadcaster constitutes an economic transfer of the license and must be approved by the Department. Radio 32 holds a license from the Uvek to broadcast a local-regional FM radio program in the Solothurn-Olten area. The media company AZ Medien had completely withdrawn from Radio 32 in 2012, having previously economically dominated the radio since 2009. The AZ Medien Group's TV stations Tele M1 and TeleBärn hold a license, while Tele Züri and TV24 are so-called reportable channels.

Billboards also feature the alternative text: «So your next Christmas party isn’t a total b****.» This is too much for some viewers, as a suspicious cloud can also be seen near the buttocks.
The following has now taken notice of the ad: AZ Solothurner Zeitung. Thanks to a letter to the editor. The writer demands that «this uncouth, boorish Santa Claus be sent back to where he came from.».

Actually, Migros meant something completely different. «The idea behind the image was to show St. Nicholas struggling in vain to prepare a festive meal and therefore calling the Migros Aare catering service,» said Migros spokeswoman Andrea Bauer in response to the newspaper’s inquiry. In other words: The little wisp of smoke came from the oven and was completely wrongly associated with flatulence. Ms. Bauer does admit, however, that the image could be misunderstood—especially in combination with the text.
Migros is now complying with the outraged reader’s request and will have the ad disappear into the archives once and for all after the booking period ends. And they’ll never mention it again. By the way: The ad was apparently designed in-house. Perhaps that’s for the best: The full-blown scandal could have backfired on the agency responsible.
