This is what 20 Minuten wrote on Thursday. Achille Casanova replied to a listener who had complained that he shared this view, according to which the invitation to buy the magazine could at least be considered problematic in a children's program. This was because "Pirando" is aimed at children under the age of 12, whereas Bravo is aimed at young people over 12.

The position of Head of Corporate Communications is to be filled. The Ringier Entertainment division, which was created last year, has grown rapidly in recent months under the leadership of Marco Castellaneta, Ringier wrote in a press release on Thursday. This includes the entry into the ticketing sector and the founding of the concert agency "The Classical Company" as well as the acquisition of the rights to the international television festival Rose d'Or. Castellaneta, who has managed the division on a part-time basis since its launch, will therefore move fully into the operational business as of September 1. As a member of the Ringier Switzerland Executive Board, he will lead the newest business division with around 300 employees and a consolidated turnover of around CHF 105 million. The Ringier Entertainment division combines the commitments to Energy Zürich, Radio BE1, SAT.1 (Switzerland), Presse TV, Teleclub, Good News, The Classical Company and the TV and film production services of Ringier TV as well as the DAB Plus commitment to SMC AG, the ticketing activities and Rose d'Or AG under one roof. After working in print and radio journalism for around ten years, Marco Castellaneta from Lucerne joined Ringier in 1996 and until 2004 designed and produced the TV program Konsum.tv on SF2 and launched the channel Sat.1 (Switzerland) with live ran. In the years that followed, he built up and managed Ringier Group Communications. As delegate for the "175 years of Ringier" anniversary, he was responsible for over 30 events in nine countries in Europe and Asia as well as the development of the corporate social responsibility program. Castellaneta graduated from the University of Lugano with a Master's degree in Communications and an Executive Master of Business Administration after completing a journalism diploma and a professional PR examination.

Benno Gämperle, deputy editor-in-chief of the Appenzeller Zeitung, told private radio station FM1 on Thursday that the editorial team had to obtain information, such as the agenda for Monday's meeting of the Grand Council, via the Internet. According to the radio station FM1, which like the Appenzeller Zeitung belongs to St.Galler Tagblatt AG, legal action is now being considered against the Innerrhoden Standeskommission (government). In an interview with FM1, Zurich media law professor Urs Saxer described the behavior of the Innerrhoden government as "questionable". No information blocking Markus Dörig, clerk of the council in Appenzell Innerrhoden, told the SDA news agency on Thursday that it was true that the Appenzeller Zeitung was no longer being supplied with information. However, there can be no question of an information blackout, as all information is available on the Internet. Dörig did not give any reasons for the dispute with the Appenzeller Zeitung. The background to the measure may become public on Monday at the session of the Innerrhoden cantonal parliament.
Last but not least: The burger as a mirror of yourself

Anyone ordering a hamburger of the Whopper variety is photographed at the counter with a hidden camera. The ordered burger is then wrapped in a foil printed with the picture taken. Study: Web users limit themselves to just a few news sites
The majority of web users read only five or fewer news sites to stay informed. Although very few users stick to just a single source of information online, the selection of different websites is still quite limited.

March 17, 2010
This is according to a recent study by Pew Research. Only 35 percent of users who obtain information online have a favorite site and 21 percent are more or less "monogamous" and only trust a single news source on the web, reports the New York Times. 57 percent use two to five websites. This is similar to studies that show that people who have hundreds of TV channels generally only watch a few of them frequently. While other surveys have already indicated that users are more willing to pay, according to the Pew study, only seven percent of users want to pay for access to any website. Even among those who classify themselves as fairly loyal to a single site, the willingness to pay is only 19 percent. From the point of view of many news sites, however, it would already be a success if five to ten percent of users paid for the content. Overall, only 199 different news sites account for 80 percent of traffic in the USA, while there are thousands of platforms on offer, as the Pew report also shows. Online readers not only limit themselves to a few sources, but also often seem to be satisfied with a few snippets of information. As an Outsell survey at the end of January showed, Google News users are happy to do without the original sources. Only half continue reading on the websites of the originators.
Last but not least: How Sony boss Michael Lynton wants the youth to get their bacon
If Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton has his way, we'll soon be eating cucumbers, apples, and the like at the movies.

In a speech at a meeting of the National Association of US Cinema Operators, Lynton calls for more health awareness at movie theater buffets. In the fight against youth obesity, there should be a better offer than just popcorn, sweets and sugary drinks, said the film producer. The proposal is based on a survey of 26 American cinemas - 60 percent of parents believe that healthier options would improve the movie experience. Whether their children are of the same opinion remains to be seen. At least Lynton doesn't just envisage fruit and vegetables - baked potato chips and oil-free popcorn produced only by hot air are also to be offered. And - a general sigh of relief - he does not want to ban the usual fattening products. So those who can't help themselves are welcome to continue disturbing the peace in the movie theater with greasy popcorn - crunchy vegetables, market-fresh fruit and fat-free popcorn are unlikely to cause any less noise during their enjoyable consumption.
