SF produces a daily series for the first time with "Best Friends

For the first time, Swiss TV SF is producing a daily fictional series for the new trimedial children's program Zambo. "Best Friends" is set in the Spalenbühl schoolhouse somewhere in the Swiss Mittelland.

At the center are ten teenagers of high school age. Stories are told about friendships and betrayal, school worries and leisure time joys, difficult teachers and bad grades, "stupid chicks" and insensitive machos, as SF announced on Wednesday. The exterior shots for the series were made in the Baden AG region, the scenes in front of and inside the school in a school building in Amsterdam set up for filming. The templates for the series are also produced there, the Dutch series "Spangas".
The children's series will run in Switzerland from August 30 on weekdays at 6.10 p.m. as part of the new trimedial children's program on SF zwei. The initial 50 ten-minute episodes will be available simultaneously on the Internet, SF writes.Zambo offers children and young people a new world to discover - on radio, television and the Internet, it continues. On weekdays, Zambo runs from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on SF zwei with magazine shows and series. From 7 p.m., the radio takes over the children's program for an hour. On weekends, Zambo is on SF zwei from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and can be heard on DRS 1 for an hour starting at 7 p.m.
In parallel to the TV and radio content, a moderated community was set up for young users on the website with many interactive elements and further information on the program. The online community can actively shape the on-air program of television and radio. The program is produced by the newly created, trimedial children's editorial team of SF and SR DRS in a joint broadcasting studio, which is currently being built in the Zurich radio studio. Zambo will replace the previous children's programs "tubii" and "DRS Pirando" from August 30.

Last but not least: "Cha me schicke? Cha me schicke!"

The weather is finally warm enough for the first evenings of barbecuing. If you want to spice up your barbecue party, you can do so now with Bell's "Grillchef" campaign.

With an app for the iPhone, you can film your own barbecue in no time at all - with the difference that the protagonists from Bell's Grillchef campaign then appear and it looks as if they are there in person: the Grillchef (actor Dominik Gysin) and his buddy (star comedian Beat Schlatter) comment on the users' barbecue party in their usual manner - "The way he's walking around, he would have been beaten up in the 80s" or "Don't you have any cool friends?". The slogans are intended to serve as a stirrup for the user and leave enough room for their own creativity. According to a Bell press release on the interactive campaign, the more the audience plays a role in the films and reacts to the characters, the more entertaining the films will be. The finished barbecue party films can be saved on the iPhone and uploaded directly to the YouTube channel. In addition to the numerous scenes and sequences, the app has another highlight: Musician Bligg performs the song "Cha me schicke" exclusively in the app at his own barbecue party, analogous to the slogan from the current campaign.

The application will be available free of charge in the App Store on iTunes from around May 28, 2010.

Wirz: Bolliger meets Loosli at Migros Restaurant

Wirz has designed a new special ad for Migros as part of its current campaign: It features the real Migros CEO alongside the fake Coop CEO.

In the campaign for Migros restaurants, two well-known names always meet, but they are not the same as the familiar faces. These "name-alikes" are the protagonists of the advertising campaign, which also recently won an Effie shortlist, regardless of whether their names were Michelle Hunziker, Ueli Maurer, Alex Frei, Simon Ammann or Christian Gross.
A special motif can now be seen on the posters designed by Wirz Werbung: The Migros boss Herbert Bolliger on the poster and in the advertisements is "the real one". The Coop boss Hansueli Loosli, whom Bolliger meets in the Migros restaurant, is a florist and, in true Coop fashion, a namesake of the Coop boss. Wirz writes that the tongue-in-cheek subject not only caused a stir and a smile within Migros, but also at the Coop headquarters in Basel.

New operational management team at Affichage

The outdoor advertising company Affichage is getting new leadership. NZZ manager Daniel Hofer is replacing CEO and Board Delegate Christian Kauter, and Thomas Rainer will take over as head of Affichage's international business.

Kauter will retire from Affichage, which owns the Allgemeine Plakatgesellschaft APG among others, on June 30. At the beginning of 2009, the former Group CEO had agreed to continue to manage Affichage beyond his normal retirement date in May 2009 in order to create time for an orderly succession plan. As Daniel Hofer will not take up his post until October 1, Markus Scheidegger, a member of the Board of Directors, will step in as Chief Operating Officer for a three-month transitional phase, as Affichage announced on Wednesday. In addition to his role as CEO, Hofer will also manage the Swiss market. He joins Affichage from the NZZ Group, where he was most recently a member of the Executive Board and responsible for the "Zurich Publishers" business. He previously worked for Publigroupe for several years.
Thomas Rainer will now be responsible for Affichage's international business. He most recently worked for the German company Wall AG. Affichage's international business in particular had plunged deep into the red in 2009. This was compounded by write-downs abroad, which led to a net loss of CHF 59.1 million. The dividend was canceled.
Jean-François Decaux, the designated Chairman of the Board of Directors, was convinced that the new top management would give Affichage the necessary clout to successfully overcome the current problems and to operate very successfully again in the future on the basis of the strong Swiss home market.

Freicom clears the way for Raiffeisen

Once again this year, Freicom is designing the annual reports for the Raiffeisen Group and Raiffeisen Switzerland. The design concept is based on the positioning statement «We pave the way» as well as the bank’s values, which have been incorporated into both the content and the visual design.

The paths portrayed serve as a bridge to the values: consistency, security, sustainability, dynamism, trust, stability and tradition. This connection is intended to reflect Raiffeisen's values. The geographical distribution of the images, from the nature trail in Andermatt to the Via Gottardo, a transit route steeped in tradition, to the Via Salina in the French Jura, is intended to indicate the company's local roots and proximity to its customers.
Responsible at RaiffeisenStefan Kern (Head of External Communications), Sabrina Rohner (External Communications Consultant). Responsible at Freicom: Cornel Speich (overall responsibility, concept), Karina Swierzy (art director), Doris Hollenstein (polygraphy), Mirjana Vujic (polygraphy).
