Onfilm, Peek and Ping Pong Film found Stories

Onfilm, Peek and Ping Pong Film jointly found the new Swiss advertising film production company Stories. In July 2010, the new company moves into its headquarters in Zurich Seefeld.

The three partners have secured strong market positions over the last decade and can look back on individual success stories: Ping Pong Film caused a sensation with Christian Aeby, Micha Lewinsky and Marc Foster. Peek showed its top qualities with "Beck & Bondi", the award-winning mini-series produced for Swisscom and directed by Tobias Fueter. Among many other commercials, Onfilm produced the multi-award-winning new soundtrack "death proof" for the vegetarian restaurant Hiltl and represents directors such as Serge Hoeltschi and Michael Steiner.
Stories focuses on stories and the creatives. Only advertising with innovative content still has an impact on viewers today, explains Tobias Fueter, director of Stories, in a press release. In close cooperation with the agencies, cross-media content will be produced.

SFLB: Relationship problems are profit opportunities

Sunrise is launching a new promotion: all August costs will be refunded as free credit in September. SFLB has launched a corresponding campaign.

To advertise the promotion, people are now being reminded to make as many phone calls as possible in August - so that they can benefit more later on. To this end, Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett has created a TV campaign in which people refer to the telephone rather than discussing something in person.
In addition to commercials, posters, advertisements, online and various guerrilla measures are used under the same motto: discuss everything over the phone in August if possible.
Responsible at Sunrise: Priska Cavelti-Heger (Director Marketing Communication), Peter Schilde, Anna Leutar (Marketing Communication Manager), Marina Stierli (Manager Online Communication). Responsible at SFLB: Simon Staub (AD), Peter Brönnimann, Martin Spillmann (CD), Daniela Steffen, Rebecca Krausse (Consulting), Suzana Kovacevic (TV Production); Production: Cobblestone. SRG expects around 20 million francs less deficit

SRG's deficit for the current year is expected to be lower than budgeted. SRG currently anticipates a deficit of about 50 to 60 million Swiss francs for 2010, instead of the originally projected 75 million.

The main reason for this is the easing of the situation at the SRG pension fund, which reached a coverage ratio of 100 percent again at the end of 2009. The restructuring measures were therefore lifted at the beginning of April. In addition, SRG expects advertising revenues at the end of the year to be around CHF 5 to 7 million higher than expected. Last year's advertising income fell by 9 percent.
The deficit for 2011 is expected to amount to CHF 42 million.

Business Campaigning: Social Media Campaign for Private Clinics Switzerland

Privatkliniken Schweiz, the association of Swiss private clinics, has commissioned Business Campaigning Switzerland with a social media campaign as a pilot project. It is intended to support the association's public relations efforts to promote fairness in the selection of listed hospitals.

The campaign aims to reinforce the messages that private hospitals are no more expensive than public ones, that they guarantee the highest quality and that the legislator prescribes a fair selection process. The campaign slogan is "The best on the lists!".
Business Campaigning Switzerland created the Userspital.ch website back in 2009. It is aimed at employees of private clinics and interested members of the public. One purpose of the new social media campaign is therefore to make this website better known. The platforms Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, as well as a blog, are to be used for dialog with the public.
The pilot project has a duration of two months and serves in particular to gain experience in dealing with social media. After the evaluation in September, a decision will be made as to whether and how the campaign will be continued. This campaign also uses "seReive", a new social media application developed by the agency as a joint venture with Kiwi Custom. "seReive" makes editing a large number of accounts, pages and groups in social networks easier and more manageable.
