Samuel Textor / Roli Hofer with campaign for Berne Declaration

Samuel Textor and Roli Hofer have implemented a campaign for the Berne Declaration with the aim of making the organization better known to a younger target group - students and schoolchildren - and recruiting new members.

The cross-media campaign "Bau mit" is intended to communicate the wide-ranging concerns of the Berne Declaration in an eye-catching way. While construction is ongoing in Switzerland, the organization is continuously working towards a fairer world. This idea will be brought closer to students and pupils during the fall semester. With online films, advertisements and a microsite. To kick things off, a day of action at the start of the semester brought together various guerrilla campaigns around Swiss universities. Wild construction site posters were put up, construction site orientations were distributed in letterboxes and objects were wrapped in construction tape. At the same time, advertisements on university notice boards and job portals called for people to help build.

All measures are aimed at the microsite and the conclusion of a membership. The "Bau mit" campaign umbrella is to remain in place for various measures over several months.

Responsible at Berne Declaration: Susanne Rudolf (Marketing and Fundraising), Michael Schilliger (Online). Responsible for creation: Samuel Textor (text/concept), Roli Hofer (art direction/concept), Ben Fernandes (retouching), Fabian Kimoto, Oliver Brand (film), Marc Schippert (editing).

Jung von Matt/Limmat and Joiz: M-Budget-WG finalists are known

Five finalist shared apartments will compete for the title of «M-Budget WG» through mid-November. Five finalists were selected from numerous applications. The video profiles and voting features are now available on the campaign’s main website.

"M-Budget WG - Ferngesteuert" is the first cross-media and interactive reality format in Switzerland. Five flatmates will be competing for the title of "M-Budget WG" until mid-November. The focus is on the website Migros.ch/m-budget-wg. Joiz regularly publishes video content on the central campaign platform. In addition, the community can "remotely control" the shared households via the website. The users take over some of the control, help determine which tasks have to be solved, and vote out a WG every week.

From October 13, the WGs' achievements will be documented in six live shows on the interactive HD TV channel Joiz. M-Budget WG - Ferngesteuert" will be hosted by comedian Stefan Büsser. Online, social media and TV are thus brought together in an interactive reality format. SRF draws a positive conclusion after "Treffpunkt Bundesplatz

Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) has given an overall positive assessment of the major trimedia project «Treffpunkt Bundesplatz.» However, TV audience share figures fell short of expectations.

Online in particular, the audience actively participated in "Treffpunkt Bundesplatz," SRF wrote in a statement Monday. The website of "Treffpunkt Bundesplatz" was very successful in an internal comparison with other SF programs, with around 102,000 views, and usage increased sharply with the duration of the project. On Facebook, 16,500 discussion posts and other interactions had been recorded. Well over a third of the fans on Facebook were female, and 56 percent were younger than 34.

The program "Parteien zur Wahl" (weekdays, 8 p.m., SF 1) was watched by an average of 397,100 viewers. This corresponds to a people market share of 29.3 percent. The four editions of "Wahlarena" were watched by an average of 204,500 viewers. This corresponds to an audience share of 15.5 percent. The "Club extra" (Wednesday, September 28, 2011, SF 1) was watched by an average of 159,600 viewers. This corresponds to an audience share of 11.1 percent.

Diego Yanez, Editor-in-Chief of TV: "Overall, the main focus of 'Treffpunkt Bundesplatz' was to convey information in a factual and comprehensible manner in the spirit of public service and thereby stimulate public discussion of the 2011 elections. In our view, this was successful across all the project's radio, television and online vectors. Online in particular, we observed that users engaged in an objective exchange of views on political party programs. Here, our expectations were clearly exceeded. As far as audience figures and personal market shares are concerned, these fall short as a singular measuring instrument for the success of 'Treffpunkt Bundesplatz'. But of course we would have wished for higher ratings. But the audience interest certainly also reflects the extremely unspectacular course of the election campaign so far."

Ruf Lanz: TV commercial realized for Hyundai Switzerland

Ruf Lanz created a TV commercial for Hyundai Switzerland. The message: The New Generation Hundai i30 inspires everyone. Even the competition.

At the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, the brands present themselves not only to the general public, but also to their competitors. Even VW CEO Martin Winterkorn did not miss the opportunity to take a close look at the competition, writes Ruf Lanz in a press release. At the stand of the Korean car manufacturer Hyundai, he inspected the New Generation Hyundai i30 down to the smallest detail. It was precisely one that made him green with envy. "Because Hyundai has obviously succeeded in what VW itself had repeatedly failed at: a steering wheel adjustment that doesn't rattle."

Ruf Lanz recognized the potential of the event and turned it into a TV spot. After the 60-second spot on Swiss television, it should be clear to everyone: The New Generation Hundai i30 inspires everyone. Even the competition.

Responsible at Hyundai Suisse: Reto Stemmler (Marketing Director), Diego Battiston (Managing Director). Responsible at Ruf Lanz: Danielle Lanz, Markus Ruf (overall responsibility), Marcel Schläfle (CD), Maren Beck (text), Heike Rindfleisch, Sabrina Luck (consulting). Film production: Manifesto Films, production: Daniela Berther, editing: Michael Graf.
