Canton of Bern extends partnership with APG|SGA

The canton of Berne is extending its partnership with APG|SGA for a further ten years. The concession includes all analog sites in the canton as well as additional poster sites in the city of Berne on land owned by the canton. APG|SGA also manages high-traffic sites at three service stations in Bern.

From January 1, 2020, the three service stations in Grauholz, Münsingen and Pieterlen will be added to the management of the cantonal billboards. These offer a wide range of services in the areas of refueling, gastronomy, accommodation and retail and are heavily frequented by national and international private transport along the freeway.

The contracts of the Canton of Berne were harmonized in order to define a forward-looking regulation for all advertising space on cantonal soil. The result was a complex tendering process. In addition to monetary criteria, references from municipalities, customers and agencies as well as the operating concept were also evaluated. APG|SGA won every aspect of this competitive public tender.

"We are delighted to have been awarded the concession and to continue our successful collaboration to date. We appreciate the trust that the Canton of Bern continues to place in us," explains Christian Senn, Regional Head of Partner Management Central.

Ikea and Virtue focus on good sleep

Following the launch of the positioning campaign, Ikea Switzerland and Virtue are tackling the topic of sleep and its importance in a further phase.

ikea-virtue

Since August, Ikea Switzerland has been showing a new side with its current positioning campaign. The claim "Bring more home into your life" is intended to give moments at home the importance they deserve.

While the first phase of the campaign focused on raising awareness of one's own home and the peace and quiet that comes with it, the communication in the second phase now emphasizes the topic of sleep. A focus that Ikea is setting not only locally, but also globally.

We know that sleep is just as important as a balanced diet. But at the same time, we set high standards for ourselves and our performance in life. This often leads us to neglect the time when we can recharge our energy. Sleep thus becomes a necessity.

Ikea and Virtue want to fundamentally change this negative view of sleep. The new communication aims to inspire people to celebrate good sleep together. Building on the new claim, the campaigns aim to convey the liberating feeling that comes from consciously choosing yourself, your home, and enough sleep.

In addition to the TV and online measures, the campaign is supported by the activation of content available on IKEA.ch/at-home. There, the effects of good sleep are discussed in depth and it is shown that healthy and relaxing sleep does not have to be a luxury. In addition, a sleep challenge brings the topic more to the forefront for the social media community.

Mainland makes the new world of work a game for EY

Office climate activist, WhatsApp poet or gut feeling follower? In the game "Skillset or Mindset?", which Festland developed for EY, you can find the job that best matches your own mindset.

Anmerkung-2019-09-12-111522

The world of work is no longer just about credentials. In the new reality, individual desires and values play the main role.

"Skillset or Mindset" premiered at Digital Day and is a game that calls for agility: multiple-choice questions about life and work appear on a 3 x 2 meter LED screen. Within seconds, players must choose an answer emoji by moving to the corresponding floor marker. Depending on the emoji chosen, a matching future job is generated at the end.

Festland came up with the idea, text, design and code for the game. The booth was realized in cooperation with Peter Schalch. For the digital day, Festland also created job buttons, postcards, shirts and badges. Companies can learn more about the business answers with which EY makes the leap into the digital mindset world possible at Newrealityblog.com/mindset.

The event concept ties in with the global "Better Questions" campaign and is part of the "New Reality Movement" strategic platform that Festland and EY have developed for the DACH markets.

Quickly assembled, quickly communicated: Serviceplan advertises for Nussbaum

Serviceplan Suisse advertises the efficient OPTIVIStec pre-wall system from Nussbaum in a product campaign.

NB_optivis_1920x1080

The Olten-based family business for sanitary installation systems was founded back in 1903. It relies not only on tradition and experience, but above all on innovation. This is demonstrated by its product OPTIVIStec, a modular and flexible pre-wall system for wet rooms.

The system is used to create a second wall in front of the actual wall. The cistern and sanitary installations are concealed behind it. Installation takes less time and requires fewer materials, which not only saves plumbers time, but also money - and they work more economically.

The B2B campaign developed by Serviceplan Suisse dramatizes the efficiency of the product. The subject shows a plumber who can do his job faster thanks to OPTIVIStec and moves quickly from one construction site to the next. The communication, which will be live from September 2019, is aimed directly at professionals and includes advertisements in relevant magazines, mailings, POS media, customer presentations and an animated online film.
