From the idea to the finished campaign, everything was created in-house in Uster. Remo Civatti, Managing Director of Silverspot and Nicolas Vonlanthen, Creative Director of Voci are delighted with the sustainable task: "It is very important for us to promote young talent in every respect and of course we hope that the cantonal Zurich Kids Hockey Association can continue to grow with the help of the APG poster campaign and the internet film.

Fredinko designs packaging for Say Chocolate

Packaging with no beginning and no end: The Zurich-based patisserie Say Chocolate has commissioned Fredinko to design the packaging for its macaron creations.

Fredinko_grosse_box_small

Urban Zurich served as the inspiration for the design. In typical Fredinko style, the new packaging features stylized figures amidst various Zurich landmarks - intertwined with macarons. The pattern runs seamlessly across the entire packaging and forms a three-dimensional endless pattern, so to speak.

The new packaging was launched at a live painting event, where guests were able to get involved artistically by adding color to Fredinko's figures. The painting was created to scale on a life-size macarons box, which was divided into ten pictures and mounted on stretcher frames after the event. The 10 hand-signed unique pieces are now on display and for sale in the Say Chocolate boutique on Europaallee. The proceeds from the pictures will go to a good cause.

The Zurich-based digital agency Truestory is responsible for the concept - consisting of target group analysis, wireframes and user flow - as well as for UI design and development of the new website responsible. The aim is to position CruiseCenter as a travel magazine for cruises in addition to its role as a supplier.

The focus will be on inspiring and emotional imagery. In a next step, CruiseCenter will inform cruise lovers with blog articles and travel reports about individual worlds of experience in general and the offers of the shipping companies in particular.

The spots were broadcast for two weeks from the third week of October on eBoards and ePanels at highly frequented stations such as Zurich, Bern, Basel, Geneva, Lausanne, Bellinzona and other stations.

The campaign will also be accompanied by an online campaign, a public transport campaign with outdoor advertising on streetcars and buses and POS measures in pharmacies for a period of four to six weeks.

Jung von Matt/Limmat: When the juicer advertises itself at the same time

Novis is launching its first B2C campaign in Switzerland in collaboration with Jung von Matt/Limmat. The brand’s VitaJuicer takes matters into its own hands and addresses customers’ preconceptions directly.

191113_Press-Realease-1

"Never say never," says the VitaJuicer from Novis, thereby immediately anticipating a widespread prejudice about juicing: it takes a long time, is a laborious affair, and therefore not an option for many. In the campaign developed by Jung von Matt/Limmat, the product and the customer take center stage and talk directly to each other about the prejudices and advantages of juicing.

Many colors, many functions

The campaign includes short commercials that are intended to whet the appetite for quick and uncomplicated juicing with the VitaJuicer and are played out online. The campaign is accompanied by digital and print advertising media as well as out-of-home measures. The other advertising materials showcase the products and their diverse colors.

The focus is on the advantages of the juicer: efficiency, easy cleaning, design, a wide range of functions and, of course, many delicious juices, smoothies, dips and more as a result. He also presents these right away in a direct exchange with customers, addressing and debunking any prejudices.

Microsite in bright colors

Jung von Matt/Limmat has also developed a new Microsite which appears in the bright colors of the products and continues the campaign from print and OOH.

The site is supplemented with recipes that can be divided into different subcategories according to need.

Foundry buys PAM

Following Farner’s sensational acquisition of Rod, Heimat’s sensational acquisition of Farmer, and PAM’s sensational acquisition of Heimat, here’s the next big news in the Swiss agency landscape: Foundry, with offices in Zurich, Berlin, and New York, is acquiring PAM!

sacha-moser

Sacha Moser, Founder, CEO and CMO with CC and BCC credentials at Foundry, says: "We are simply doers with a hands-on mentality. And PAM has always been very attractive. But recent events have undoubtedly raised PAM's sex appeal to a veritable Matterhorn level. So we simply couldn't resist the temptation to buy PAM - including, incidentally, the women who work for us in large numbers and with pleasure."

"PAM," Moser continues, "is just as convincing for its fast and extremely satisfying solutions to pent-up problems as it is for its discreet and very efficient in-house pressure relief. Thanks to PAM," Moser reports with a moist gleam in his eye, "we have never been so quick: To work, to unusual ideas, to special practices, and to much more."

Thomas Schibli and Patricia Kuster found Gin Works

At the end of July, Thomas Schibli and Patricia Kuster launched their agency, Gin Works, with the goal of restoring transparency to communication. The name they chose primarily reflects their enjoyment of things that work.

ginworks_gründung

Schibli and Kuster work mainly with SMEs between the Glarnerland and Zurich. Whether architects, gardeners, schools or artists, the sector does not play a major role. What is more important is a clear philosophy. It depends on the people behind an organization.

Gin Works supports clients in the areas of strategy and branding. This includes the development of logos, the design and copywriting of websites, the development of social media channels, the creation of campaigns and the labeling of buildings and stores. Thomas and Patricia's most important goal is to ensure that every appearance is based on a clear idea that supports the company values and communicates them to the outside world.

Patricia Kuster is responsible for strategy and consulting, while Thomas Schibli is dedicated to conception and design. Both have many years of experience in large and small agencies and would like to share their knowledge with managing directors of SMEs.

Federal Administrative Court with new corporate film

The Federal Administrative Court in St. Gallen has a new corporate video. The video provides a clear picture of the court’s responsibilities and helps improve public perception.

The two actors Anina Baumgartner (German) and Raphaël Tschudi (French) play the leading roles.

The Federal Administrative Court (FAC) issues around 7500 rulings every year. Despite this, the largest federal court is still little known to many Swiss citizens. "We have the task of explaining our court beyond pure media work and making our range of tasks tangible," explains Andreas Notter, who initiated the film project as Head of Communications.

However, the FAC's claim went beyond mere information. According to Notter, the court also wanted to appeal to viewers emotionally and entertain them. This, as well as the trilingualism of the film, placed high demands on the implementation partner Focus Format, a St. Gallen agency for film and video productions.

The main roles in the film are played by the two professional actors Anina Baumgartner (German) and Raphaël Tschudi (French). To make the film sequences as authentic as possible, extras from the court staff were also used.

The corporate film is now being used for guided tours for visitors, as well as for presentations by the Executive Board and for HR promotional events. It can be found online at www.bvger.ch and on YouTube.

The WoZ does not gain access to the WEF in Davos

The weekly newspaper *Die Wochenzeitung* (WoZ) will not be granted access to the 2020 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. According to the WEF, the accreditation application was submitted very late; this is not a case of censorship.

woz-weft

As WoZ co-editor Yves Wegelin told the Keystone-SDA news agency on Thursday, the paper met the deadline for accreditation. On the morning of Oct. 30, one day before the deadline, the WoZ had made a request by mail asking for accreditation for the WEF at the end of January 2020, he said.

At noon on November 12, the answer came that not all media would be admitted to the event. According to Wegelin, the WEF gives preference to media that also work with the organization during the year.

The WoZ had contacted the WEF extremely late, one day before the deadline for accreditation, Yann Zopf from the WEF media office told Keystone-SDA. Based on this, it was determined that the quota for the Swiss media was already full. This had nothing to do with censorship.

Every year, the WEF receives thousands of media requests for accreditation. For reasons of space, a contingent of a maximum of 500 journalists is admitted, although in some cases several journalists from one medium are admitted.

Imprint criticizes decision

Already in 2012, the WoZ had not received the accreditation. At that time, the WEF was probably persuaded to change its mind after media pressure and a political initiative, as Impressum, the association of journalists, announced on Thursday. Thus, the newspaper was able to regain accreditation for the following years in 2013.

According to the imprint, the WEF "does not provide any comprehensible reasons why the WoZ should not receive accreditation. The forum acts arbitrarily and violates the freedom of the press in its actions. For these reasons, Imprint disapproves of this unjustified denial of access. (SDA)
