Studio54 implements "Decisions" exit campaign

Studio54 and Tonstudio Z implemented an advertising and radio campaign for the Exit association with the message that every person must make the most difficult life decision for themselves.

EXIT_Kampagne-Studio 54

The Exit association was founded in 1982 and has been committed to the right of self-determination in life and death for 37 years. As a non-profit organization with over 125,000 members, Exit relies to a large extent on donations and legacies.

The association is committed to ethical principles and legal guidelines. Advertisements in Swiss daily newspapers and radio spots dramatize the countless decisions that people make in the course of their lives. Forward-looking, surprising, emotional or sometimes quite pragmatic. Decisions that also affect family members. Ads and radio spots ask why this should not be the case in the end.

Work creates structure and orientation and enables social contact. It promotes skills and the development of identity. And it is anything but a matter of course for people with physical, mental or cognitive disabilities.

"Collaboration with a wide range of companies and employers is a key factor in our successful labor market integration," explains Monika Landmann, Managing Director of Learco. "Our external image is just as important as our internal image. Geyst understood this perfectly and brought the Learco brand to life," she continues.

Geyst created and realized the brand world with all the associated components - claim, logo, corporate branding, signage and more. Dynamism, conciseness and straightforwardness are the key elements. The overall appearance is direct and shows Learco's areas of activity in a pointed manner. At the same time, it is a reduction to the essentials without neglecting the passion of what we do.

Rebellion of the rejected: tbd. makes a strong case for Hüppen

Under the name «Rebellen-Hüppen,» the rolled and filled waffles have their own entertaining product platform. The Zurich-based agency tbd. is responsible for the concept and execution.

Headline_Packung_04

They are too long, too thick, too crooked, too short, too dark. The language is of Hüppen - "cigars" filled with gianduja - that do not conform to the norm and were therefore sorted out. As rejects, as production defects, as freaks. Just because they are different and do not fit into any standard box.

Yet these Hüppen are just as delicious, just as handmade, just as full of gianduja and therefore just as valuable as all the others. Now these Hüppen defend themselves against their ostracism and have joined forces in a (Hüppen) rebellion!

tbd. is responsible for idea, branding, design, packaging, brand story, marketing and the Online Shop responsible. Eight differently designed packs thematize the rebellion in different ways and entertain with short stories. Social media and targeted PR ensured awareness. The limited number of packs and the limited sales period were also intended to increase desirability.

  • Publisher: Springer Gabler, 2019
  • Pages: 206
  • ISBN: 9783662575673

There are many myths surrounding artificial intelligence. Not infrequently, the technology is downright demonized. But the reality is different than in science fiction movies. However, critical aspects are not neglected either. An entertaining and informative book about one of the most exciting technologies of our time.

Business Transformation as an Opportunity.

  • Publisher: Frankfurter Allgemeine Buch, 2018
  • Pages: 269
  • ISBN: 9783962510268

Markets are developing faster and faster, and so are customers' expectations. How can companies keep up? The authors see an opportunity for developing competitive advantages in the concept of business transformation - a comprehensive realignment of the company. They can be forgiven for a bit of advertising for their own model. Finally, they illuminate the topic of increasing corporate value from every conceivable angle: from the initial analysis to the creation of a continuous improvement process. A recommendation for all managers.

  • ISBN: 9783527509690

This entertaining book provides deep insights into life in the Gulf and conveys first-hand impressions with its many quotes from Arab business people. The theoretical part contains many tips and warnings of pitfalls. In the many anecdotes, the author's great sympathy for the region always resonates - it is contagious. The book opens up a foreign world to the reader and fulfills its purpose: to facilitate business success in the Gulf. A recommendation for all those who want to do business in partnership with people in the Gulf.

New Dark Age

The victory of technology and the end of the future.

  • Author: James Bridle
  • Publisher: C. H. Beck, 2019
  • Pages: 320
  • ISBN: 9783406741777

This book thoroughly brushes against the naïve propaganda of comprehensive progress through digitization. James Bridle sees dark clouds on the horizon. The book does not provide a balanced analysis, but rather a pointed critique, which can, however, be understood as a necessary addition with a view to a complete overall picture. The very vividly narrated examples are a particular strength. Anyone who wants to think strategically about digitization must be familiar with all its aspects.

What marketing experts and the media need to look out for in the coming year

The findings of Kantar’s global study, «Media Trends & Predictions 2020,» show that marketing experts and media outlets will need to develop new skills, engagement models, and measurement methods in the coming year to effectively reach consumers in today’s crowded media landscape.

Trends-2020

The Kantar study provides an overview of twelve trends that will be of decisive relevance in the media and communication sectors in the coming year and will shape the media landscape.

Technology trends are changing the media landscape

5G is finally becoming a reality

The marketing industry will be one of the main beneficiaries of the 5G era. It offers greater opportunities to reach and engage with consumers. But at the same time, the use of 5G means a significant transformation for marketers.

The battle between the streaming platforms is heating up

New users are seeing how competition from streaming platforms continues to grow. However, an increasingly confusing market will lead to consumer subscription fatigue.

The volume is increased

Brands will find their own voice even more vociferously, ushering in a new era of audio advertising. Newer audio channels are geared towards bringing the mainstream to the fore.

Content meets commerce

Content and commerce will converge as store advertising evolves from shoppable social to shoppable TV and digital out-of-home. This will lead to a shortening of the closed marketing cycle.

Positions that brands can take credibly

Brands return to reality

Brands will balance their digital presence with more hands-on experiences, which means we could see a slowdown in the growth of digital advertising.

Brands take a stand

Brands will become more radical in 2020 as they take up the consumer initiative. But they need to make sure their media strategy is aligned with their values and purpose.

Influencer marketing is growing up and needs to measure what matters

Influencer marketing will mature as brands start to collaborate more and take measurement methods seriously in 2020.

E-sports will become mainstream in the next twelve months

As a result, e-sports will offer lucrative opportunities for the media and advertisers.

Context and triggers for change

Turn around and face the change

The trend towards media in-house will continue. More and more brands are building their own teams of digital experts and pushing agencies and advertisers out of their traditional comfort zones into a new collaborative and exciting space.

Cookies disappear

Without cookies, many marketers could be left in the dark. Advertisers must now prepare for the new "mixed economy". Direct integrations between publishers and measurement partners enable true cross-publisher measurement for the first time.

Doing the right thing with data

In light of upcoming legislation, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act in January 2020, the ethics of data protection will come to the fore. Marketers will develop personalization initiatives that focus on people rather than technology.

Campaigns in 2020 struggle with crowds and disorder

Political advertising will cause excitement and disruption in 2020, especially in the US media landscape. Brands need to rethink their strategy during the campaign season.

Michael Maillinger, CEO of Media Division Germany, says: "2020 will be an exciting year for marketers. Marketers will need to improve their understanding of how different touchpoints work effectively for their brands - online and offline."

Agency at the airport wins the Liechtenstein Red Cross as a new client

A small country, a big helping hand: The Liechtenstein Red Cross (LRK) is the Principality’s largest aid organization—and, as of recently, a client of Agentur am Flughafen in Altenrhein.

AaF_LRK_Etat

As a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Society, the LRK supports worldwide relief efforts. In the Principality itself, the LRK operates the rescue service for accident and ambulance transport, provides advice for mothers and fathers, runs a children's home for young people from Eastern Europe and organizes the blood donation service in cooperation with the local Samaritan associations and the ÖRK.

The Altenrhein agency will launch an initial fundraising campaign for the LRK in the run-up to Christmas.

Voima creates new website for bear researcher David Bittner

The Adliswil-based agency Voima has developed a new website for Swiss zoologist, bear expert, and nature photographer David Bittner.

davidbittner_web4

Born in 1977 in Bern and raised in the Bernese Oberland in Saanenland, David Bittner studied biology at the University of Bern and received his PhD in 2009. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Bernese Environmental Research Prize for his research.

Since 2002, the adventurer and photographer has traveled to Alaska whenever possible to observe Kodiak and coastal brown bears in the wild and document his experiences with photographs and film footage. With scientific research, a lot of educational work, the publication of books and, above all, the medium of film, Bittner is committed to the protection and preservation of these animals.

Bears made into stars

Just in time for the theatrical premiere of the new film "Der Bär in mir" with David Bittner, the new online presence was launched. David Bittner's new Website shows impressive films and pictures and thus turns the bears into stars. In addition, everything worth knowing about the Swiss bear researcher is accessible - apart from news, this includes information about his various lectures and his person, special travel offers and a small store.
