Agence Trio has developed a four-part campaign to raise awareness of the French skin cosmetics brand Isispharma among Swiss consumers.

One measure of the campaign consisted of sending a VIP box containing three Isispharma products and a press release to a selection of journalists from the general and specialist media. In addition, more than one hundred dermatologists received a personalized mailing explaining the scientific arguments for the Isispharma brand.

The agency also worked with various influencers from French-speaking Switzerland. They all received a personalized skincare box for their skin type and then shared their experiences with their network. This campaign reached around 70,000 people.

Various subjects were animated and shared as posts on Facebook and Instagram, and received a total of over one million clicks through optimization.

"This turnkey support has allowed us to open the doors of the Swiss market with confidence and professionalism. We are very satisfied with the strategy pursued and the good results," says Victoria Zon, Head of Marketing at Isispharma.

The Next Pig Thing: Trimarca with a new website

Every pig is online: The Chur agency Trimarca presents itself with immediate effect with a new website.

FireShot-Capture-025---Trimarca---Trimarca---trimarca.ch_

The new website is to be "more beautiful, faster, more animated, more informative, more digital and more piggy," as the agency writes in a statement. But why a pig, of all things? Why not, says the agency. Everyone likes to have a pig.

Pigs have one or two striking things in common with us humans: their good nose, for example, which immediately tells them which way the wind is blowing and where the trend is heading. Or the desire to get to the bottom of things, where they are deepest. Yes, people also like to dig around, stick their noses into things, ask a few more questions and thus find solutions that not everyone comes up with.

This is how the agency presents itself on its new website. With lots of piggy analogies, a big pinch of wordplay - and new team photos.

Mobiliar acquires a 25 percent stake in Ringier

Ringier takes a 25 percent stake in Mobiliar. The two Swiss companies have agreed on a long-term cooperation.

MarcWalder_MarkusHongler

Mobiliar had already acquired around 50 percent of Scout24 Schweiz AG in 2016, which has since been run as a joint venture with Ringier. Now the two companies have decided to deepen their partnership. Mobiliar will receive a 25 percent stake in Ringier AG. The largest part of the funds is to flow into the further development of Ringier. The acquisition of the stake is expected to be completed in the first half of 2020. Both Ringier and Mobiliar will remain fully independent companies. The parties have agreed not to disclose the amount of the investment or the valuation of the shares.

As a new minority shareholder, Mobiliar will have two seats on the Ringier Board of Directors: Urs Berger and Markus Hongler will take seats. The Ringier family, together with CEO Marc Walder, still holds a clear majority in the Ringier Group with a stake of 75 percent.

There will be no changes to the composition of the operational management bodies. Both the Group Executive Board of Ringier and the Executive Board of Mobiliar remain unchanged.

Best of Swiss Web extends submission deadline

It has become a tradition: Best of Swiss Web is extending the submission deadline by one week, to February 10.

As various exciting projects are still in the pipeline, it was decided to extend the submission deadline by seven days again this year. The extension applies to the eleven specialist categories as well as to the special award "Best of .swiss".

Interested companies can secure a chance to win a category or even the title "Master of Swiss Web". Whoever performs best in the eleven specialist categories will be nominated for the title. Potential master projects should therefore be submitted in as many categories as possible. This gives companies the chance to convince as many juries as possible and achieve the highest possible total score.

The projects can be submitted until February 10, 2020. After the extended submission deadline, the Best-of-Swiss-Web team will inform about further steps.

Switzerland Tourism: Switzerland should treat Chinese tourists with respect

On its website, Switzerland Tourism urges tourism service providers in Switzerland not to discriminate against Chinese guests.

FireShot-Capture-024---Aktuelle-Situation-Corona-Virus-China---STnet---www.stnet_.ch_

There have been isolated reports in recent days that Chinese tour groups have been turned away from various Swiss restaurants. The online portal Zentralplus, for example, reported on Monday about an Asian restaurant in Lucerne that does not currently want to serve Chinese guests due to protective measures against the coronavirus.

As the Sonntagszeitung newspaper writes in its current issue, Switzerland Tourism is now warning landlords, hoteliers and mountain railway operators not to discriminate against Chinese tourists. The Sonntagszeitung and Sonntagsblick write that the Swiss are distancing themselves from Chinese tourists out of fear of the virus and even treating them like lepers in some cases. Switzerland Tourism now wants to send out a signal that Switzerland and its tourism industry will continue to be hospitable to Chinese tourists, just like all other tourists.

Swiss tourism expects losses

At the weekend, the Chinese government decided to stop group travel at home and abroad, which will also have an impact on the tourism industry in Switzerland. Destinations such as Interlaken, for which Chinese tourists are the most important group of foreign visitors, could suffer particularly badly as a result.

Switzerland Tourism is expecting a drop in Chinese tourists of between thirty and fifty percent in the coming weeks, according to the Sonntagszeitung. This means that in the worst case scenario, 50,000 hotel overnight stays, corresponding to an estimated CHF 19 million in tourism revenue, would be missing in February, as ST boss Martin Nydegger told the Sonntagszeitung. However, as it is currently difficult to predict how the situation will develop, it is possible that these estimates are still too optimistic.

For the love of the village: Butcher Rottman Bürge shows new Volg village stories

MRB Metzger Rottmann Bürge’s Volg advertising campaign is entering its second year. The campaign is designed to help Volg rapidly expand its reputation as a customer-focused retailer.

5_VOLG_Plakat_Image_2020_Wollschwein_F12_d

In addition to the village stories from the first year of the campaign, which were implemented as scalable content on posters, in advertisements, as photo or video stories or as publicity reports, further episodes from the Volg villages are now being added.

In the continuation of the campaign, you can find out "where every sausage drives a snowmobile", "where people let the pig out" or "where it still really stinks in the village", to quote just three of the ten new village stories.

In addition, two new TV commercials are designed to attract attention. The TV commercial "Grandpa" shows with a smile how well the Volg store employees know and appreciate their customers - even if they unfortunately only arrive after closing time. And the TV commercial "Romeo & Juliet" heartwarmingly reveals that you can find love for life while shopping at Volg.

In addition, there are now also branded checkout conveyor belt dividers in the store, which are designed to provide entertainment with short anecdotes in a playful and product-oriented way.

All advertising materials are in use immediately and throughout the year.

Swiss Poster Award: 36 campaigns on the shortlist

The shortlist for the 2019 Swiss Poster Award has been announced: 36 nominated campaigns have emerged from a field of 300 entries. At the «APG|SGA Poster Night» on March 12, 2020, the awards and the overall «Poster of the Year» prize will be presented to the nominees.

Swiss Poster Award

The Swiss Poster Award is one of the largest creative competitions in commercial communication for analog, digital, and innovative outdoor advertising in Switzerland. It honors outstanding work, emphasizes the value of design, and underscores the importance of the poster in the intermedia comparison.

The independent jury of experts, consisting of 20 personalities from advertising, culture and design, evaluated around 300 competition entries in January under the leadership of jury president Christian Brändle, Director of the Museum of Design Zurich. The 36 selected campaigns were convincing in terms of originality, implementation of the advertising message and design execution.

"This year, it was noticeable that digitalization is having a major impact. Many posters are now created as series and produced with countless variations of subjects. Spots for screens often react immediately to daily or even hourly news. A very exciting development," says the jury president.

Martin Walthert from Digitec Galaxus was involved in the judging for the first time. He comments: "It was enriching to exchange ideas with all the experts about the many entries. I am particularly enthusiastic about advertisements that effortlessly combine a clear, understandable message with an unusual, inspiring design or form. We have seen some good work in this area. But on a broader scale, a more conscious approach to the poster medium certainly couldn't hurt."

The winners will be announced on March 12, 2020 at the APG|SGA Poster Night in Hall 622 in Zurich Oerlikon. Laudators from the expert jury will present the awards in gold, silver or bronze in six categories. The highlight of the celebration is the presentation of the overall winner across all categories, the "Poster of the Year". Swiss presenter Alexandra Maurer will guide through the evening.

Interactive voyage of discovery with Beem at the Fondation Beyeler

The Fondation Beyeler is currently hosting an exhibition on «Edward Hopper,» one of the most important American painters of the 20th century. By using Beem, visitors can learn more about the painter during their visit.

Beem

Digital information about Edward Hopper and his paintings is hidden in the rooms of the exhibition. Visitors receive this information directly on their smartphone if they have activated Beem. The information collected can be used to answer quiz questions at the end, which are part of a competition. In addition to an instant prize, there is also a guided tour for 10 people to win for the upcoming summer exhibition, which is dedicated to the Spanish painter "Goya".

In order to use the interactive exhibition, the Beem function must be activated manually in the apps of 20 Minuten, Bluewin or Beem's own app and access to Bluetooth and location must be allowed.

Until February 26, the campaign will also be supported by a cinema spot of the Fondation Beyeler on the Hopper exhibition, which will run in the cinemas Kult.kino Atelier, Kult.kino camera, Pathé Küchlin, Houdini and Kosmos. While the spot is being shown, visitors can buy tickets for the exhibition via Beem.
