Ogilvy Zurich does business with Salt

It is not yet widely known that Salt also offers solutions for the business sector. For this reason, Ogilvy has developed a dedicated B2B campaign for Salt.

The focus is on Salt's three proven strengths in the business sector: quality, clarity of offering and customer proximity. These strengths are directly linked to various well-known Salt business customers, as the corresponding qualities are equally characteristic of both companies.

The campaign starts with three strikingly staged subjects and further measures with national and international Swiss Salt customers are already in preparation, as well as a continuation of the concept on social media, in direct marketing and as moving images.

Facebook to delete coronavirus misinformation

Facebook does not want to allow the spread of misinformation and conspiracy theories about the novel coronavirus. The social media platform will remove such content, following the guidance of global health organizations, founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Wednesday.

facebook-network-t

In addition, he said, no advertising will be allowed that seeks to exploit the crisis - for example, by claiming that the products can cure the disease.

For Facebook, this action is an exception to its policy of not wanting to decide what is wrong and what is right. The online network had been criticized for its decision to leave even demonstrably false statements by politicians uncommented on the platform.

In the case of the coronavirus untruths, however, Facebook's rules prohibited putting people in danger, Zuckerberg explained.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) is getting as much free ad space on Facebook as it needs. And other organizations would also be supported with vouchers for advertising, among other things. Researchers would get access to anonymized and generalized Facebook data to better understand the spread of infections. (SDA)

Kargo fights teacher shortage in the canton of Bern

The Department of Education and Culture of the Canton of Bern is taking on the teacher shortage and has commissioned Kargo Kommunikation to create an emotional campaign.

"Encourage the power women of tomorrow today", "Be a role model for tomorrow today" or "Encourage the heroines of tomorrow today": With these and other claims, the campaign of the Education and Culture Department of the Canton of Bern aims to highlight the relevance of the teaching profession and counteract the shortage of teachers. Teachers make an enormously valuable contribution to the intellectual development of children and young people. With their work, they lay the foundation for good cohesion within the cultural diversity that we encounter in our society today.

KARGO_ERZ_Website_3500x2000

The campaign is supported by the PHBern, the Hep Bejune and the Berufsverband Bildung Bern. It runs in two waves: With the first wave in fall 2019, the primary intention was to strengthen the reputation of the teaching profession among the general public. The second wave started at the beginning of March with the aim of attracting more young people and career changers to study to become teachers.

Responsible at the Directorate of Education and Culture: Martin Werder. Responsible at Kargo: Christoph Balsiger (Creative Direction), Nicole Balsiger-Gerber (Strategic Consulting Digital), Manja Koschker (Consulting), Zelika Pravdic and Jorge Martinez (Graphics and Animation). Technical implementation website: Roger Burkhard. Media partners: Passenger TV, APG, Ads & Figures.

Emotional online spots shown at Bern and Biel train stations and on regional public transport, as well as accompanying social advertising activities, are intended to raise public awareness of the issue and breathe new life into the profession. The film sequences are able to convey the importance and multifaceted nature of the teaching profession within a few seconds, with a smile and a lot of heart. The implemented measures should lead interested parties to the campaign landing page, where more detailed information about the profession and the diverse courses of study can be found: Become a teacher.ch.

Heimat Zürich and Bank Cler organize the simplest lottery in Switzerland

In a late-night campaign, Bank Cler demonstrates just how intuitive its mobile banking app is.

cler

People who make their way home at the weekend after a night of partying are often no longer in full possession of their mental faculties. And therefore ideally suited to show how easy mobile banking can be today. This is the idea behind the "Zak Challenge". For this challenge, Bank Cler installed an oversized smartphone screen in the middle of Zurich's main shopping district. It lured tired, inebriated passers-by with the prospect of a free cab ride home. The task for the "test subjects" was to perform a typical app function without further instructions.

A test that all participants passed with flying colors and thus impressively demonstrated: Mobile banking can be so easy. Reason enough to celebrate the winners accordingly: a gospel choir and drag queens provided the necessary glamor before the e-taxi finally took them home. In addition to the detailed documentation of the "Zak Challenge", bumpers and stories complement the social media campaign.

Jung von Matt/Limmat only lifts a finger with Qwell

The beverage delivery service Qwell makes everyday life easier for Swiss people: With just a swipe of the finger, drinks are delivered right to your door. Jung von Matt/Limmat shows, through a humorous online campaign for Qwell, how buying drinks works these days.

Buying drinks is perceived as physically demanding, time-consuming and annoying. The Qwell beverage delivery service now puts an end to this. Just one finger is enough to organize everything to do with your own beverage delivery. And that literally: In the three online clips produced by Jung von Matt/Limmat, it is a personalized finger that is used for customers. The necessary help comes from the Qwell supplier, who not only brings the drinks, but also takes the empties back.

The digital content will be played out channel-specifically on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and accompanied by online banners. The campaign is being launched in the cities of Basel, Geneva, Lausanne, St. Gallen, and Zurich and will run bilingually in the first wave. By addressing the audience via social channels, the Qwell beverage delivery service is introduced to a new, previously unreached target group. The simplicity of ordering drinks with Qwell fits seamlessly into the lifeworld of a young target group and is therefore their perfect match.

The campaign "Just lift a finger" was developed by Jung von Matt/Limmat in collaboration with Qwell and Coca-Cola Schweiz GmbH. Qwell is part of Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland.

Successful author Martin Suter not yet satisfied with online success

One year after his online launch, Swiss author and former advertiser Martin Suter is still not satisfied with the performance of his digital business.

Unbenannt-4

This writes the Handelszeitung in their current issue. The start was particularly tough, says Suter: "The number of subscribers grew slowly and steadily, but the bounce rate and dwell time were very poor."

Following the recent relaunch of his website, the figures have improved and Suter is confident that he is on the right track. But the current number of subscriptions "in the low four-digit range" is not yet fully satisfactory: "I'm not satisfied yet, the whole thing is still a loss-making business."

On his website, the author delves deeper into aspects of his books or even spins stories further: "Readers often tell me, for example, that they are unhappy with the ending of my book "Lila, Lila". Because the couple breaks up. Maybe I'll bring them back together in an online sequel."

Inspired by a simple ship's buoy, George Stephen invented the well-known "kettle grill" in Chicago in 1952. Since then, Weber has established itself in the market as a premium brand and offers a wide range of gas, electric and classic charcoal grills, as well as new grills with wood pellets. Weber also offers barbecue fans the right accessories and merchandising products for young and old. Weber's range is rounded off with barbecue courses, including its own Grill Academy, and ensures that barbecuing is also an experience for vegetarian barbecue fans.

Under the motto "Discover what's possible", Weber opened its first flagship store in Switzerland on February 28 and 29 and wants to offer grill fans a perfect grilling experience with this customer promise. With unconventional grill dishes, with grill workshops conducted by grill master Andy Stüssi and with the demonstration of the latest grill, fans got their money's worth and were able to marvel at the large range of grill models, accessories and merchandising articles on almost 400 m².

Visana is the first Swiss health insurer ever to offer a «Same Day Delivery Service» for prescription medications in collaboration with Medi24. Komet is already rolling out the campaign for it.

VISANA---Velorennen-(KOMET,-Kampagne-2020)-0-23-screenshot

Anyone who can't make it to the doctor or nearest pharmacy at the moment is sure to appreciate Visana's latest service. In exclusive cooperation with the telemedical consulting company Medi24, the health insurer delivers prescription medicines to its customers' homes in Basel, Bern, Lausanne and Zurich free of charge in three hours at the latest - by bike courier.

No wonder, the Komet agency communicates this USP of its long-standing client compared to its competitors with an action-packed online spot. In a variety of formats and a direct mailing to Visana policyholders, the focus is on one of the many uncelebrated heroines of our cities: a bicycle courier who goes full throttle to bring a father with the flu his medicine.

The viewers of the spot will remember that there is now a "Same Day Delivery Service" not only for food and non-food, but also for prescription drugs - but for the time being only at Visana.
