This is in response to the pleasing course of business in recent months, the full-service agency from the Basel region said in a statement on Tuesday.

Alexander Bürgin, born in 1993, had already been working for WS Kommunikation on a trial basis since February of this year. He trained as a graphic designer and strengthens the digital competence of the agency in particular with his profound experience in front-end development.

The alliance calls on all road users to contribute to improving road safety by being friendly and tolerant. The three-year "generally friendly" campaign was presented to the public on Tuesday by city councillors Richard Wolff and Filippo Leutenegger and Reto Cavegn, Managing Director of the TCS Zurich section.
The campaign designed by Dynamite consists of a TV short spot, viral long spot, posters, print products, vehicle advertising and the website Generally-friendly.ch together.
In addition to the more or less traditional advertising materials, it also invites road users to actively participate and submit comments. At several stand campaigns, road users have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the "generally friendly" sign or upload their portrait picture to the website and send their wishes to other road users.

Furrerhugi was founded in 2006 by Lorenz Furrer and Andreas Hugi in Bern and operates additional offices in Zurich and Brussels. With the opening of its new office in Lausanne, the number two Swiss PR agency is further expanding its national presence. The agency has already been represented in French-speaking Switzerland for a year by Cédric Alber. It was able to recruit the former head of cabinet of Geneva State Councilor Pierre Maudet to further develop the agency.
The Lausanne office already has four employees: Cédric Alber (Senior Consultant), Mehregan Joseph (Consultant), Noémie Perrier (Junior Consultant) and Simon Zurich (Junior Consultant). They are regularly present at the other locations or involve employees from German-speaking Switzerland in the projects. This is in order to share know-how and working methods and to exploit synergies wherever possible. "With this new, strong anchoring in French-speaking Switzerland, we can offer our clients national coverage," says a pleased Lorenz Furrer, Managing Partner.
The Furrerhugi agency, which specializes in public affairs, also has extensive expertise in the field of corporate communications. "These include strategic communications consulting, media relations, marketing communications, event organization, crisis communications or support for election and voting campaigns," explains Andreas Hugi, Managing Partner.
Real-time advertising, moving images and interactivity are currently hot topics in online advertising. Stailamedia and Group-M subsidiary Xaxis have implemented the first programmatic interactive moving image campaign for Granini in Switzerland. According to a press release, the two companies are also pioneers in Europe.

It is still technically complex to trade in-stream advertising programmatically. In contrast to display advertising spaces, a video player stands between SSP and DSP - the technical systems for implementing programmatic campaigns on the provider and buyer side - in the case of in-stream video inventory. The large number of different video players and, in particular, the constantly growing video inventory in mobile have always made programmatic video more technically demanding than programmatic display.
Another challenge for the programmatic world is the VPAID standard defined for the implementation of interactive moving image campaigns, which is usually only available in Flash players and therefore not on mobile devices.
Together with Xaxis, Stailamedia was able to realize a data-driven, interactive video campaign for the advertising client Granini via the Stailamedia Exchange. The server-side integration of the Video DSP and the Stailamedia Exchange makes it possible to buy interactive video campaigns in real time on a data-driven basis.
"We are delighted to have found a service provider on the customer side in Group M that shares our passion for technology innovation in online marketing," says Jochen Witte, COO of Stailamedia. "Group M and Xaxis always want to ensure a technological edge in the implementation of online campaigns. We are therefore delighted to be able to offer our customers in Switzerland a modern and future-proof moving image product," says Christian Gründel, Director Xaxis, Group M Services.
The Argovia and Radio 24 radio stations will be integrated into the company under the leadership of AZ Medien as of the beginning of 2016, with management responsibility thus transferring from BT Holding to AZ Medien. The aim is to better exploit new opportunities in the changing media environment by joining forces, according to a statement.

In many places, draconian penalties are imposed for littering. In Switzerland, too, depending on the canton, fines of up to 200 francs are imposed if litter is simply thrown away. However, the effectiveness of the threat of heavy fines is called into question - especially when the penalties are rarely imposed anyway due to the disproportionately high costs involved. It is better if people behave correctly of their own accord. Some people are "inherently" inhibited from simply throwing litter on the street. Others may not be aware of the consequences, but can be motivated to contribute to a clean environment with the right approach.
Hubbub is doing this in London in a rather refreshing way. The #neatstreets campaign takes a positive approach: for example, emotional questions can be voted on using cigarette butts. Is Messi or Ronaldo better? Who will win the next London derby? The organization also encourages passers-by to stick their chewing gum on posters instead of on the street. Clean! (hae)

Neat Streets - using playful design to tackle littering
Can a bit of fun and playful design stop people from littering? Our public polling discovered that a staggering 86% of people think littering is a disgusting habit yet only 15% of us would actually confront someone and tell them that. Our 'Neat Streets' campaign in central London uses the latest thinking on behavior change and awareness raising from around the world to trial a new approach to tackling littering on Villiers Street, Westminster. From talking and burping bins to flash mobs and voting ash trays, we've tested a lot - have a look!FILMING: Story Culture, www.storyculture.co.uk

What services can SRG provide, and what would have to be cut if the annual budget of around 1.6 billion were limited to one billion, halved or reduced to 500 million francs? This is the question the SGV wants clarified, as it announced on Monday. The association supports a corresponding postulate by National Councilor Natalie Rickli (SVP/ZH). It also supports other political initiatives that want to make the public service more concrete. Only in this way is it possible to have a purposeful discussion about the public service "that does not drift into subjective likes or dislikes of individual broadcasts". The SRG as an institution would not be called into question by this, said SGV Director Hans-Ulrich Bigler according to the text of his speech to the media in Bern on Monday.
Reduce scope of services
However, there needs to be a broad public discussion about the content and scope of the public service. To achieve this, the SRG must become more transparent. For the definition of its public service mandate, the SRG must compare the costs with concrete services. SRG should also reduce its scope of services, especially on the Internet. There, competition between SRG and private publishers is increasingly unequal. In addition, it should be examined which SRG services could not also be provided by private media. Bigler described the draft ordinance on the new RTVA recently presented by the Federal Council as "insufficient and not well thought out. Important questions, such as the amount of the new levy, would only be answered in a later partial revision shortly before the system change.
New structure
The concession - currently the responsibility of the Federal Council - should in future be granted to the SRG by parliament, is another demand of the SGV. The SRG's current concession expires at the end of 2017. The collection agency, today Billag, should also be put out to tender again, according to the SGV. The umbrella organization of Swiss SMEs is also upset about the SRG's corporate structure, which it considers to be outdated. The SGV is demanding that SRG, which is currently organized as an association under private law, be converted into a joint stock company.
The Swiss Syndicate of Media Professionals (SSM) stated that the SGV overlooked the fact that the discourse on public service had long since begun. The report of the Federal Media Commission will serve the Federal Council as a basis for an analysis of this issue.
On June 14, voters narrowly approved the new Radio and Television Act (RTVA). The yes vote paved the way for a new fee system with a general levy instead of a device-dependent fee. The SGV had fought the law. (SDA)
The long-standing cooperation between reigning Swiss field hockey champions HC Davos and Südostschweiz will be intensified for the upcoming season. For example, the Südostschweiz media family will co-sponsor Radio Südostschweiz on the players' kit as well as in the stadium, and the reporters - together with the newspaper's sports journalists - will report from every home and away game. New additions include various raffles on the radio, in the newspaper and online, as well as the exclusive "Südostschweiz Lounge".

A unique feature will be the lounge under the stadium roof, which has been specially expanded for Südostschweiz. "Here we have the opportunity to give away ten exclusive seats at every home game," says a delighted Andres Hartmann, Head of Marketing User Market at Somedia. The winners gain access to the stadium via a separate entrance, are looked after throughout, enjoy their own bar and a personal seat in the lounge. In addition, the winners can visit Südostschweiz media representatives in the press box before the game and receive a farewell gift at the end. Tickets for the "Südostschweiz Lounge" cannot be purchased, but are exclusively available on Radio Südostschweiz as well as online to win.
