SFLB for Sunrise: Don't say it with words, say it with a text message

Following the launch of its 1-franc prepaid plan, Sunrise is now introducing an unlimited SMS plan for prepaid customers. To promote the new offer, Sunrise’s advertising agency, Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett, highlights just how important text messaging is today for the main target group—teenagers.

As the commercial "First Love" shows, teenagers are often at a loss for words, especially when it comes to love. Director Axel Laubscher has staged these attempts at a mutual rapprochement.

International gap fillers start in Baar

Remko van Hoof and Cameron Stent have founded a creative studio under the name Banzai Studios. Born in the Netherlands and Australia, they see themselves as bridge builders who want to fill the communication gap between Switzerland and other countries.

The start-up was founded in Baar at the beginning of September and offers communication services to international companies in Switzerland. According to the advertisers, these were previously often obtained abroad for language reasons. Consulting in Switzerland offers the advantage that mandates can be handled locally, more personally and more efficiently.

At the center of the new Page are the employees of the National Grid Company and its CEO Pierre-Alain Graf. They introduce themselves on the website with films, pictures, interviews and quotes, which is intended to convey an open and likeable image of the company. The focus on dialog and comprehensibility is also being pursued with a stronger emphasis on the media section and a revision of all text content.

Last but not least: What the Christmas gift craze costs companies

It's that time of year again. The holiday season is just around the corner—and with it, the annual struggle to find the right gifts. Have you already been searching online for the perfect gift idea—maybe even during work hours?

The question of how much valuable working time employees really waste on online shopping during the Christmas season was investigated by Isaca, the commercial association of IT professionals. As a study by the association shows, each employee spends an average of 14.4 hours - or almost two whole working days - on online shopping before Christmas. One in ten employees even manages over 30 hours, i.e. almost four working days!
It is doubtful whether the survey really accurately estimates the actual duration of use. Nevertheless, web shopping remains a problem. Here are two suggestions on how to defuse the situation: No in-store Secret Santa campaigns - that should save a few hours. Use the minutes spent online shopping as effectively as possible: Pass on gift tips and good Internet addresses to employees immediately so that at least they don't waste too much time searching. This also reduces the likelihood of someone coming across dubious websites during their search, which in turn represent a security risk for the company.

Green Graffiti: Clean floor advertising

Green Graffiti has opened a branch in Lausanne. The agency, headquartered in Amsterdam, offers a sustainable alternative to traditional outdoor advertising: it cleans the ground, creating the message.

Green Graffiti does not need paper or ink for its environmentally friendly advertising; the message is created primarily with the help of high-pressure cleaning machines. In this way, the agency wants to offer its clients the opportunity to make a strong impression on the target audience while keeping the environmental impact to a minimum, according to the advertisers. The company offsets the carbon emissions generated by its advertising by 150 percent through an investment in a wind farm project in China. The drinking water consumed is also offset by a water collection project in Brazil. Further information on Greengraffiti.ch.
