Weber Harbeke: Smokers bathe in happiness

The Grand Casino Baden has had separate smoking areas since May 1. Weber Harbeke Partners developed a poster design for this with Anouk Manser.

The motif combines smoking with a moment of happiness in the casino and thus joins the previous "Baden im Glück" campaign. Swiss model Anouk Manser, who has already strutted down the world's catwalks for Giorgio Armani and Laura Biagiotti, was recruited as the face of the campaign. The photographs were taken by Hanspeter Schneider, a photographer with Swiss roots. The smoking motif can be seen on posters in the Aargau and Zurich regions from May 10.

Responsible at Grand Casino Baden: Detlef Brose (CEO), Susann Knöpfel (Head of Marketing). Responsible at Weber Harbeke Partners, Zurich: Max Weber, Thomas Harbeke (CD), Giovanni Pucci (consultant), Ramon Aemmer (graphics), Christian Sidow (text). Photo: Hanspeter Schneider. Springer with rising sales

The consolidated net income adjusted for non-operating special effects increased by 77.4 percent to 62 million euros, as Axel Springer announced on Tuesday. Although the bottom line in the same quarter of the previous year amounted to 213 million euros, this was largely due to proceeds from the sale of investments in regional newspapers. Thanks to the growth in digital media, Axel Springer was able to more than compensate for declining revenues in the print segments. The Group raised its forecast for the year as a whole and expects a significant increase in revenues. Axel Springer publishes the tabloid Bild and Die Welt in Germany. In Switzerland, various TV program guides as well as Bilanz, Handelszeitung and Beobachter belong to the publishing house.

SFLB: The veterans of FC Münchwilen are chugging again

Helvepharm has been part of Sanofi-Aventis for several months. However, the generic drug company remains true to itself and continues to support FC Münchwilen—as seen in the previous campaign—with the same modest resources. To emphasize this, Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett expanded the campaign with a TV commercial.

The spot is accompanied by advertisements in which the veterans from Münchwilen promote the current over-the-counter products. The footballers also feature prominently at the POS, in pharmacies: as life-size stand-ins including a vendor's tray. The new TV commercial will be broadcast on Swiss television from May 11. In French-speaking Switzerland, the campaign launch will initially begin with a shortened version of the already familiar basic spot.

Responsible at Helvepharm: Christina Kobi (Brand Manager). Responsible at SFLB: Sebastian Krayer (AD), Maren Beck (text), Peter Brönnimann, Martin Spillmann (CD), Rolf Zimmermann (strategy), Isabelle Meier (consulting), Suzana Kovacevic (agency producer/art buying); director: Michael Steiner, production: Onfilm. Sound studio: Hastings. Photography: Stefan Minder.
