Last but not least: Women, defend yourselves against stupid sayings
The public broadcaster ORF does not like the commercials of an online betting provider at all. Now it has even banned the films from its screens.

The reason: the commercial ends with a headbutt - an allusion to Zinedine Zidane's attack on Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup final. A blonde reacts with such an act of violence to the stupid remark of a colleague. The commercial gives the impression that violence is a solution, says ORF. Isn't the message actually a little less crude, namely: women, even if you are blonde, defend yourselves against stupid remarks - with violence if necessary? Whatever the case, the commercial deserves to be broadcast - if not on ORF, then at least here:

TV viewers complain about vuvuzela noise
Following viewer complaints about the noise from vuvuzela horns during the World Cup, ARD and ZDF are increasing pressure on their production company. Swiss television has also received complaints—the broadcaster regrets that «there’s nothing to be done.».

If the background noise was muted, the commentary would no longer be audible, the receptionist of the Swiss broadcaster told the news agency SDA. Swiss television had received numerous protest emails about the noise of the horns, but could not do anything about it technically. For its part, the German broadcaster ARD responded to complaints and turned down the stadium atmosphere "to the bare minimum" when mixing the sound. This was announced to Spiegel Online by the sports editorial department of Südwestrundfunk, which is responsible for ARD. In addition, the commentators would be equipped with lip microphones, which closer to the mouth than the usual headsets. The typical South African vuvuzela, which makes a deafening noise during matches, is now popular with football fans all over the world. It is banned in Swiss stadiums - not because of the noise pollution, but because it can be used as a baton at best.

The ZPRG was able to attract Mike A. Weber, Head of Strategic Projects at Publigroupe, and Michel Juhasz, CEO of Assai Dialog + Digital, as expert speakers. In their presentations, Mike A. Weber and Michel Juhasz once again surprised the ZPRG members with astonishing insights into mobile and online communication, as was reported in a press release: iPhone, iPad, social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter are just a small selection of the many developments that have significantly changed and will continue to influence our communication behavior. Today, cell phones are still mainly used to make phone calls, send text messages and take photos. But not for much longer: the speakers showed current examples of how a coffee can be selected, ordered and paid for by cell phone. Or how an address can be easily located and actually found. One clear trend is the constant merging of different media into one: Reading interactive books online, selecting and watching movies, listening to music, navigating through foreign regions is already possible in some cases. For both speakers, it is clear that we are only at the beginning of the possibilities and that the now highly topical and sought-after iPad ... will soon be common property. According to the press release, it also became clear that the two areas of mobile and online communication have grown together so much that it will soon be difficult to differentiate between them. It will therefore be exciting to meet up with Mike Weber and Michel Juhasz again in three years' time and see how the journey has progressed. If they still have to come together at all ...
