Passaia - Fresh from the tree

Bright purple-yellow bottles hang from exotic palm trees and the harvest lies in baskets under the trees, ready for passers-by to take away. Today, the palm trees in Lausanne were in well-frequented places.

Behind the activity is the refreshing drink Passaia. The aim is to give passers-by a dash of exoticism on their morning commute to work. The oasis provided a refreshing start to the day in Zurich on Wednesday. In Bern, this campaign took place on Thursday and today, Friday, Lausanne, Place St. François and Place de l'Europe are planned as the last destinations.

Annual General Meeting of Radio Emme

At its annual general meeting on June 24, 2010, Radio Emme presented its financial results for the previous year. Despite the challenging economic environment, the company managed to generate a cash flow of approximately 124,000 Swiss francs.

The number of listeners also increased. In the first quarter of 2010, around
63,000 people listen to the programs neo1 and neo zwei. According to a press release issued by Radio Emme on Friday, the number of listeners to both programs has increased by almost 28 percent in the last year, as program director Jüre Lehmann explains.
2009 was also the first year in which the increased fees were paid out in full. This increase is a pleasure and a relief, according to Chairman of the Board of Directors Erich Stamm. However, the federal requirements and framework conditions associated with the new concession also lead to additional expenditure in various areas. Following various bookings to adjust the balance sheet, a balance sheet carryforward of just under CHF 2,000 can now be reported for the first time in the history of Radio Emme.
At the Annual General Meeting, the current members of the Board of Directors Juliette Vögeli and Brigitte Bucher were elected.
adopted. Following the election of four new members, the Board of Directors now consists of six people.
Radio Emme currently employs 21 people. Radio Emme AG was founded in 1997. The company is licensed by the Federal Office of Communications for the Emmental region.

Kenzo focuses on flowers

Cyclists are out and about in Zurich today, Friday, with a flower on their handlebars. The only thing on the red poppy is a small note.

Whether the flower steals the desired attention from the small piece of paper remains to be seen. However, the red flowers fluttering through Zurich today are just right for the summer weather.

"Write the future" in South Africa - messages for stars on LED screens

Flanked by 90-meter-high images of Cristiano Ronaldo and Robinho, an interactive LED screen, almost as big as half a football pitch, offers sports fans from all over the world the opportunity to write their own headlines on the brightly lit Johannesburg skyline.

Towering high above the rooftops of downtown Johannesburg is one of the city's most striking buildings, the Life Center. The 30-storey, 138-meter high building, the fourth tallest in Johannesburg, serves as a spectacular base for Nike's latest interactive, digital Out of Home advertising campaign. Football fans can use the LED installation to send their personal messages to their beloved football stars, which can then be seen far above the rooftops of Johannesburg. According to Nike President and CEO Mark Parker, the aim is to bring the Nike brand to life and make it tangible for football fans.
Football fans can send a 57-character personal message to over 50 Nike athletes from around the world via Twitter, Facebook, Mxit (South Africa) and QQ (China). Each night, up to 100 messages will be selected and integrated into a digital animation that will be projected across the Johannesburg night sky. Each fan will be personally notified and will receive an image of the animation as soon as their fan message is used, according to a Nike press release. The campaign is just one of many examples of how fans can participate in Nike's "Write Future" campaign. Since the campaign began almost four weeks ago, over 32 million people have already been reached online.
Özil lights up Johannesburg - Gigantic LED projection of the golden goalscorer
Shortly before kick-off of the all-important final group match against Ghana, the German attacking hope was given a very special honor: Mesut Özil's likeness was projected onto the façade of the Life Center in Johannesburg, one of the tallest buildings in the South African metropolis. After scoring the decisive goal, the match-winner not only shone on the pitch, but also over the whole of Johannesburg.

Pakistan controls Google

Pakistan is investigating several major Internet companies on suspicion of blasphemy. Among them is the search engine provider Google.

The companies are accused of disseminating "un-Islamic material". The inspection was initiated by the national telecommunications authority after a provincial court in the East Pakistani region of Punjab ordered the sites to be blocked. As the SDA writes, the providers under observation include Google, Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, Amazon, Bing and YouTube as well as 17 smaller providers.
Last month, Pakistan temporarily blocked the Facebook network because a group had called for people to take part in a competition for caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed.

E.g. Advertising is a supporter of the "Extraordinary Members" club

The Swiss Football Association (SFV) has relaunched its «Extraordinary Members» club for its loyal fans: These supporters are guaranteed one thing above all else—a coveted ticket to all of the Swiss national team’s home games.

Within the club, the association distinguishes between three categories: gold, silver and bronze. Depending on the category, there are VIP tickets and advance purchase rights for the home games of all national teams and advance purchase rights for Fifa World Cup and Uefa matches. There are also additional benefits.
The SFV was supported in the implementation of Z.B. advertising. In addition to a new CI/CD, three different welcome packages - one for each category -, a member card, stationery, envelopes, a web banner and a ticket folder were produced.
As a welcome gift, Extraordinary Members will be sent a new Member Card in a mailing together with an original Puma football from the Swiss national team (gold), the original jersey (silver) or an original pennant.

Shell positions itself as the "good guy"

BP currently has a bad public image. Shell is now taking advantage of this to position itself as the "good guy.".

Despite all attempts to improve its badly damaged image, BP is seen in a bad light by the public. Everyone agrees on that. Shell is now using this for its own image campaign:
