Goldbach Interactive promotes Axa Winterthur's retirement plan

Goldbach Interactive has launched an online campaign for Axa Winterthur focused on retirement planning. The campaign is aimed at the 50-plus and 60-plus generations.

Since October 25, a friendly, serious Axa Winterthur retirement expert has been drawing attention to the retirement planning microsite Axa.ch/pensionierung via standard, special format and video banners. The flash-based, interactive video stage shows interested parties how the Swiss pension system is structured and how the assets saved can be used to secure the standard of living they are accustomed to after retirement. An interactive calculator shows the dependencies between the cost of living, savings rates and the time of retirement and guides the user to further information on retirement planning.
The video production was implemented completely digitally with the help of green screen technology and tracking points, which ensure the 3D effect, and was carried out in close collaboration with Imaculix. Goldbach Interactive was responsible for the conception, creation and implementation of the campaign. The media planning consists of a mix of high-reach general interest portals, special interest sites and performance elements.

New territory: Multimedia Swiss online magazine launched

On Friday, the Swiss multimedia online magazine Neuland went live on the Internet for the first time. The digital magazine combines print, photography, radio, and video.

Neuland is published by an association of journalists Anita Hugi, Daniel Hitzig and Judith Stofer. With the monthly magazine, they want to offer a platform for freelance media professionals who are less and less able to publish in the traditional media, as was reported in a press release on Friday.
The online magazine relies on support from patrons and cultural foundations. For the time being, it only has a small budget, says Anita Hugi according to SDA. However, she hopes that the freelancers will be paid a fee for their contributions after six months. For the time being, the core group preparing Neuland is working on a voluntary basis.
The digital magazine can be consumed free of charge at Neuland-mag.net. However, the initiators are hoping for subscribers. One day, they will also be able to make exclusive use of previous issues stored in the archive. There will be no advertising.
One of the special features of the magazine, which is published on the first Friday of every month, is a documentary film that can be viewed as an online stream in TV quality for one month. Neuland's own music program can also be enjoyed as an online stream while watching a photo reportage, for example.

Bern, along with the Neue Lgk, is delighted with the new BZ

Exxtra: Advertised for Audi special offer

It’s currently cheaper than usual to buy goods from the EU. The weak euro is also tempting people to buy a new Audi as a direct import from Germany. But Audi Switzerland is countering this temptation with a promotion advertised by Exxtra.

When you buy a new car, you’ll now receive a gift: all participating Audi dealers are offering 10 percent of the new car’s price toward optional equipment. Exxtra Kommunikation has developed various measures for this promotion. Posters, an informational flyer, dealer ads, and rearview mirror hangers draw attention to Audi’s unbeatable offer. Two radio spots accompany the campaign on the audio front and use music to demonstrate that the right features make good things even better.
The various promotional materials will be used starting October 25.

Berner Zeitung, Thuner Tagblatt and Berner Oberländer have a new look

Starting Friday, November 5, 2010, the *Berner Zeitung*, *Thuner Tagblatt*, and *Berner Oberländer* will be published as two-section newspapers with a new layout. The traditional newspaper hierarchy will be reversed.

The first section of the newspaper will now begin with coverage of the region, according to a press release issued on Thursday. This will be followed by coverage of the canton of Bern, Switzerland, and international news. Economic and cultural topics, as well as political coverage, will continue to be included in the first section as before. The second section, titled “Sport & Leisure,” will cover sports—the Berner Zeitung’s second core area of expertise—as well as daily changing featured topics. With this approach, the Berner Zeitung will distinguish itself even more clearly in the future from Bern’s second daily newspaper, Der Bund.
With this move, the three newspapers are sharpening their profile as regional newspapers, as the press release goes on to state. The BZ, TT, and BO Forum—a platform for letters to the editor, comments, tips, photos, and reader concerns—is being relaunched. With the color orange, the forum is getting a new visual identity. The reader blog will now also publish letters to the editor and debates that do not find space in the print edition. The connection to the online portals is also being expanded. Bernerzeitung.ch, Thunertagblatt.ch and Berneroberlaender.ch. On their online portals, the editorial staffs of the three regional newspapers, in collaboration with the online editorial teams, provide up-to-the-minute coverage of news from around the world and the most important regional events throughout the day.
The new design for the Berner Zeitung, the Thuner Tagblatt, and the Berner Oberländer was created by Stefan Semrau and Christian Hruschka of Twotype Design in Hamburg. Among other projects, the two newspaper designers have already been responsible for the redesign of Finanz und Wirtschaft in Switzerland.
