SW: The Federal Certificate in Copywriting has been launched

On February 10, the sponsoring association presented in detail how to obtain the Federal copywriter certificate. In Zurich's "Metropol", in addition to the the compulsory details of the exam, there was also a freestyle copywriting performance by JaNaKlar, Jana Heinicke.

For around three years, exponents of the sponsoring association, consisting of Schweizer Werbung SW, Script, EB Zurich and Publicité Romande, have been working on the design of this certificate. Documents such as examination guidelines, instructions and other documents had to be drawn up and approved by the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (OPET). E

The first fruits of this work were presented on February 10. Roger Hausmann, president of the examination board for the copywriter's certificate; Heinz Egli, further education officer of SW and Ursula Gamper, managing director of Schweizer Werbung SW, showed the long way and presented the details of the examination to the 30 or so interested listeners.

In addition to all the duties, the attendees were also offered a (lyricist's) free program: "JaNaKlar", slam poet, gave a brilliant performance in which she showed what is possible with words. Precisely thought-out texts, elegantly delivered and wonderfully composed, according to a press release from the umbrella organization Schweizer Werbung SW.

Of course, in the vast majority of cases, copywriting is a compulsory exercise or a craft, says Roger Hausmann,Roger Hausmann, President of the examination board for the copywriting certificate. Everyday copywriting involves writing coupons, and headlines can rarely be created. But that is precisely why the craft has to be learned and also tested. He is therefore confident that he will receive around 30 applications for the first examination. And in around ten years' time, the aim is for this certificate to be part of every job application.

Switzerland Tourism hopes for 12 million francs from Bern

The Swiss tourism industry is feeling the impact of the strong franc. Because a decline in hotel stays is expected this summer, the organization Switzerland Tourism is hoping for financial support from Bern.

Switzerland Tourism spokeswoman Daniela Bär confirmed to the news agency SDA a corresponding report in the newspaper Südostschweiz. The organization is hoping for an amount in the region of 12 million francs. The federal government had already supported Switzerland Tourism with this sum in the crisis year 2009.

For a grant to be used to boost summer business, the money would have to flow soon. However, Daniela Bär does not expect a possible grant until the summer session. But because the franc is likely to remain expensive, the federal funds would still be welcome then. "It would be too late for the summer campaign, but the strong franc will keep us busy for longer," Bär said.

Baer also confirmed the news that the Switzerland Tourism board had approved a special budget of 2.5 million francs for marketing activities this week. "We are looking for partners so that in the end it will be 3.2 million francs." (SDA)

Cavegnwerbung develops new appearance for Logismata

The Cavegnwerbung agency redesigned Logismata's existing logo and modernized its corporate identity.

Logismata is expanding its business from a provider of financial software to a comprehensive strategic, consulting and technical partner for financial companies that want to optimize their consulting strategies.
