Last but not least: Doping offender promotes "hair doping product"

For years, Alpecin has been advertising its anti-hair-loss products with the slogan «Doping for Your Hair.» Now, a man who made headlines due to doping allegations is set to become the company’s advertising partner.

Jan Ullrich is considered the most successful professional cyclist in German history. He was the only German to win the Tour de France in 1997. However, a doping scandal led to his exclusion from the Tour de France in 2006 and his dismissal from his team. And now, according to Horizon.net advertising partner of Alpecin. Initially, he will be used as an ambassador for the Alpecin Cycling Day, as a spokesperson confirmed to the industry portal. As the Alpecin Cycling Day will take place regularly in the future, the partnership with Ullrich will also be long-term. Even a collaboration with Ullrich in classic advertising for Alpecin is not ruled out. A daring partnership - but one that is sure to attract attention. And, as we all know, that is the only thing that really counts.

Hipeak BTL is hitting the ground running with new offices, new employees, and many new clients. Having started a year ago as a two-person team, the boutique agency—which specializes in events, guerrilla campaigns, viral marketing, and new media—now employs nine people.

In addition to Philip Eggenberger and Linus Eidenbenz, a third partner, Daniel Rasumowsky, joined the team in summer 2011, as the agency writes in a press release on Tuesday. The team has been expanded from two to around eight full-time positions in the last twelve months. The team has been strengthened in the areas of campaign planning, publishing and graphics in particular. Among others, Oliver Scherrer (previously a consultant at Goal) and Devika Hasler (previously Junior Art Director at Wirz Werbung) have been hired as new employees.

The agency also reports new clients. The cab start-up Mytaxi, the IT group Asus, the fashion chain Mexx and the Swiss Brewers Association have already been acquired as new clients for 2012. Further major projects in the areas of events, hospitality, viral marketing and new media are being implemented with established clients such as Microsoft, Red Bull, Diesel, Nike and Feldschlösschen.

Since Thursday, February 2, 2012, the first fully painted Cobra streetcar has been operating on the Zurich public transport network (VBZ).

In addition to the estimated 10 million streetcar passengers a year in the city of Zurich, this also gives the online bank Swissquote, which was staged by its lead agency Maxomedia, publicity beyond the canton's borders, writes Maxomedia in a press release.

In the rearmost part of the streetcar, passengers can travel in a relaxed atmosphere with their finger on the pulse of the markets. These seats are dedicated to the Swissquote Lounge, which is available in Zurich and Berne.

The streetcar was realized in collaboration with Christinger und Partner, Schlieren (production), Livesystems, Belp (technology, LED display), Outbòx, Liebefeld (advertising material), VBZ (Zurich transport authority).

Ogilvy Interactive: Pitch won by Helvetic Tours

Ogilvy Interactive created an online decision-making tool for undecided beach vacation customers for the Facebook page of Helvetic Tours. And was thus able to secure the pitch for the promotion of the beach holiday catalog.

The idea of decision support on Facebook.com/helvetictoursIf the customer does not know where to travel, he has two dice decided for him. One dice shows selected destinations, the other special activities. The user can roll the dice as often as he wants or until he has rolled the combination that suits him best. Behind each possible combination is an offer from the new beach vacation catalog that the customer can book immediately. Or they can rely on their luck by taking part in Helvetic Tours' Travel Cube competition and winning the trip. Sponsored Stories and Facebook Post provide additional attention in the circle of friends of the participants.
