Last but not least: Is this art or can it go?

Chris Buck photographed fifty celebrities for his photo book *Presence - The Invisible Portrait*. However, none of them appear in the photographs.

This is because the people portrayed are hiding behind a bush, a car, a couch or somewhere else. The invisible celebrities include Robert De Niro, Günter Grass, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Snoop Dogg, Nick Cave and David Lynch.

Will the photo book be a bestseller? One Zeit.de reader suspects the opposite: "The photos are like communism. Nice idea, but the realization is a failure." Make up your own mind:

In Flagranti: DC Bank values made tangible

To kick off DC Bank's new market presence, the agency In Flagranti created a value box for employees and customers.

The box is intended to make DC Bank's values - solid, Bernese, long-term - tangible, the agency said in a statement. What these values mean for the actions of the individual and the company, and what customers can expect, is written in a DC Bank tonality guide. For this purpose, In Flagranti developed three objects that make the values tangible in a haptic way. A piece of sandstone stands for solid, the hand-painted ceramic bear for Bernese and a wooden letter opener for sustainable. These objects were made by Bernese craftsmen and women and now adorn the desks of many employees. The new market presence will gradually be experienced by customers in the course of the next six months.

Lugano: Hitchhiking advertising ambassadors

At the end of the multi-week advertising campaign in German-speaking Switzerland, the city of Lugano sent car stoppers to the Gotthard service area.

The more than 30 hitchhikers were prepared for their mission in advance and instructed accordingly, as the agency responsible, Comunicazione, explained to Werbewoche.ch. On their way across the Alps, the advertising ambassadors told the tourists from the north about their city of Lugano.

The car stoppers marked the end of the Cambio Lugano Cambia project (Werbewoche.ch reported), in which Lugano set up exchange offices in five Swiss cities. German-speaking Swiss were able to exchange old souvenir photos for 30 Lugano francs. Motto: "Instead of posters, we'd rather give you the money directly so that you can get a new picture for yourself." The currency created especially for the campaign can be redeemed in numerous restaurants, hotels, bars and museums until the end of October 2012.

Subtlety: "Protection from passive smoking" campaign

As reported by «10vor10,» the Feinheit agency is responsible for the national referendum campaign against secondhand smoke. The program featured the newly printed poster «Secondhand Smoke Is Harmful,» which Art Director Boris Périsset and his team designed.

To maximize readability, Feinheit relied on a highly reduced typographic solution, according to a statement. The black box underlines the urgency of the message and is intended to be reminiscent of the warning label on cigarette packs. Even the hurried viewer should see at first glance that the vote is about "smoking" and "health," the agency adds.

The campaign was commissioned by the Swiss Lung League. The "Protection from Passive Smoking" initiative will be voted on September 23, 2012. It aims to ban involuntary smoking in the workplace and in publicly accessible areas.
