Coundco: Two more Swiss brands in the portfolio

Coundco has added two more Swiss brands to its client roster. Raiffeisen and SBB are now also using the agency's online communication services.

Further Facebook apps and social media activities are already being planned. In addition to passenger transport, the agency is also an implementation partner for human resources and for the digital expansion of SBB's umbrella campaign "unterwegs zuhause".

Coundco is Raiffeisen's national partner for digital advertising and marketing and will be the first to implement an online advertising campaign in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Marti.Seiler: Ruckstuhl puts Zurich in the Ruck chair

«Sit down. Take a picture. Win a car.» Under this slogan, Marti Seiler will be placing yellow chairs—Ruck chairs, to be exact—for Ruckstuhl Garages from September 3 through 6.

Slightly irritating people might already be observing people these days in Zurich and the surrounding area as well as Winterthur, who undertake a pantomimic car ride while sitting on a yellow chair. But there is a simple explanation for this seemingly strange behavior: Eleven prizes related to driving are waiting for the winners of an unusual contest. The action is carried out in cooperation with Radio 24.

From Monday to Thursday of this week, anyone who takes a seat on a yellow jerk chair and allows themselves to be photographed in the most original motorist pose possible with their cell phone or camera by a companion or the helper present is as good as in. He then only needs to upload the photo to Radio24.ch and hope for the goodwill of the jury - consisting of Ruckstuhl and Radio 24 employees. The winners will be announced on Radio 24 on Friday, September 7.

Factum Kommunikation: Grimmzahnaerzte.ch show teeth

The Zurich agency Factum Kommunikation has designed a campaign for Grimmzahnaerzte.ch. The campaign centers on a woman's mouth biting her teeth.

For fifty years, the Grimm family has been at home with its dental practice on the left bank of Lake Zurich. The changed environment in recent years due to dental chains and discount offers has prompted Grimmzahnaerzte.ch to go on the offensive with regard to patient acquisition. Factum Kommunikation has therefore designed a campaign for the Horgner practice, which ranges from public reports to newspaper inserts and billboards. At the center of the campaign is a woman's mouth biting her teeth.

Responsible at Grimmzahnaerzte.ch: Andreas Grimm. Responsible at Factum Kommunikation: Remo Plüss (CD), Mark Schönholzer (consulting).

Dachcom: The important role of a functioning network

In a movie theater and TV commercial for Entsorgung St. Gallen and the Morgental/Steinach Wastewater Association, Dachcom highlighted the value chain within the liquid waste management sector. The setting—or the «little room»—is rather unusual.

The setting is a public toilet, where a simple idea is used to highlight the benefits of a functioning network. The campaign's message is that the synergies of joint wastewater management create benefits for the entire population. Advertisements in specialist media support the information campaign. They are intended to highlight the role that well-functioning networks play in joint wastewater management.
The cinema and TV spot can be seen in the open-air cinemas in St. Gallen and Arbon in summer 2012. This will be followed by 400 ads on TVO in the fall, and in February 2013 the spot will also be shown in St. Gallen's city cinemas.

Responsible at Entsorgung St. Gallen / Abwasserverband Morgental/ Steinach: Hans Peter Tobler (Managing Director ESG), Roland Boller (Managing Director AVM). Responsible at Dachcom Communication BSW, Rheineck: Christoph Matzner (concept, consulting), Bernd Leisner (text), Otto Gmeiner (overall responsibility). Responsible at Vitronic, St. Gallen: Paddy Rubin (recording, editing).

Viscom: Longer working hours and no fixed minimum wages

Viscom intends to push for longer working hours, reduced allowances, and the elimination of detailed, fixed minimum wages in the upcoming collective bargaining negotiations. The Graphic Arts Industry Employers' Association cites the industry's critical situation as the reason.

According to Viscom, the negotiations for a new Gav in the graphic arts industry, which begin on September 20, 2012, must lead to a strengthening of the individual companies' room for maneuver and their own responsibility. The employers' association of the graphic arts industry is calling for a future-oriented adjustment of the overly costly collective labor agreement. According to Viscom, added value cannot be distributed in advance and a start of the cost spiral would trigger catastrophic employment consequences in the industry. The principle of annual wage adjustments at company level, which has been established in the industry for eight years, is working, he said. The companies are aware of their responsibility towards their employees.

According to Viscom, the new CBA must strengthen the companies' room for maneuver, especially since their financial and earnings power varies greatly from company to company. A detailed fixing of minimum wages should be dispensed with. Viscom is against a general increase in minimum wages of 200 francs per month, as demanded by the unions.

New 42-hour week

Viscom is also calling for a move away from the 40-hour week and an increase to 42 hours. The 40-hour week threatens growth and employment in the graphic arts industry. The benchmarks for annual working hours fixed during the last CLA negotiations are proving to be too rigid and must be broken up in line with other industries. Annual working hours must be made more flexible, as in other sectors.

According to Viscom, the compensation for night and shift work of 70 percent is also unsustainable in a national industry comparison and international benchmark. In the interests of Switzerland as a workplace, Viscom is therefore calling for surcharges of 25 percent for night and shift work.

Maxomedia shows for Anibis.ch: This is how easy it is to change your life

Maxomedia has launched a campaign for Anibis.ch in German-speaking Switzerland. The commercials are now airing on TV.

More than five million bargain hunters and sellers bustle about on the free platform Anibis.ch every month. More than 290,000 ads are currently posted. In order to gain awareness in German-speaking Switzerland as well, Maxomedia has launched a campaign with TV commercials, banners and advertisements in text and images.

The core elements of the campaign are two commercials that will be shown on TV in three phases until the end of the year. In them, the talentless skater sells his inline skates and opts for a less dangerous hobby: playing chess. And the expectant mother, she lets her husband swap his sport for the baby carriage.

Also the banners should show the variety of the offer at Anibis.ch: There the rocking horse is sold and a horse is searched. Or the bikini is sold and a winter jacket is searched for. True to the motto: "It's so easy to change your life".

SF: New lunchtime magazine planned

SF is planning a major lunchtime news program. The lunchtime magazine is intended to be a mix of news and longer features and will last up to an hour and a half.

A test recording has already been made. Sonntag knows this from "reliable sources". Mario Grossniklaus, who has presented "Tagesschau" since 2010, is said to have hosted the magazine.

With the new magazine, SF wants to appeal to those viewers who spend their lunch break at home, according to Sonntag. SRF was cautious when asked, but confirmed the idea. Spokesperson Martin Reichlin told Sonntag: "The TV editorial team is indeed considering a new lunchtime magazine". However, no concrete decisions have yet been made regarding content, moderation or implementation.
