Marti. Seiler: Film realized for Sigg

Marti. Seiler. Communications explains how the new bottle cap works for Sigg in an animated film.

According to the agency's press release, technical terms such as "valve closure", "pre-ventilation" and "adjustable flow rate" are to be made simple and easy to understand. Illustrations and cut-out contour elements are intended to create an independent visual world with a charm that differs from the "sterile high-tech of conventional industrial films", the press release continues. This also had a positive impact on the costs, which - thanks to the technology - remained within the framework of a low-cost production.

The film is used online on YouTube and as a promotional film.

Responsible at Marti. Seiler: Peter Marti and Stefan Beck. Production: Riccardo Signorell (Signorellfilms). Illustrations: Raphael Gschwind.

Moopho: Agency for moving images starts operations

Moopho, an agency specializing in moving images for the Internet and digital advertising spaces, celebrated its launch on September 19. Moopho stands for «Mooving Photo» and also refers to the company’s products.

The company produces so-called Moophos, moving images, and thus combines photography with film. Using modern technology, Moopho ensures that image subjects move: "With Moopho, we breathe life into the images. On platforms such as tablets or electronic advertising spaces, people have the opportunity to experience the natural movements of a subject at any time. This allows us to make the images breathe, bring them to life and let them speak for our customers," says Martin Rütschi, photographer and owner of Moopho.

He is delighted, as is the team that produces the moving images for the new generation of devices. Images that are able to radiate calm and yet still be lively. According to the press release, Moopho attaches particular importance to aesthetics and meeting high technical quality standards. In terms of price, the production costs of Moophos are said to be significantly lower than those of advertising film productions and slightly higher than those of traditional photo shoots. According to the press release, this type of moving image is already very popular in the tourism, fashion and service sectors in particular.

TV and Internet TV bookable in one step

Goldbach Media is the first international marketer to integrate the Internet TV channel Wilmaa into the TV booking tool Media Pro. Moving image campaigns can now be booked and compared for TV and Internet TV in a single step for the first time.

TV content is increasingly being consumed online, according to a Goldbach Media press release. This is why advertisers are increasingly placing their products and messages on Internet TV in addition to traditional TV advertising. Until now, advertising on Internet TV had to be planned and booked from the online optics and was therefore not directly comparable with a TV campaign. An unsatisfactory situation for marketers and customers alike.

Establishment of a separate performance currency

Goldbach Media is establishing a separate performance currency for Internet TV, the eGRP, so that customers can now book the two media in one step and then compare them directly. The eGRP can be compared directly with the GRP (Gross Rating Point, the measure of advertising pressure or gross reach as a percentage within the target group potential) used for TV. The basis for calculating the eGRP is the number of ad impressions delivered (actual advertising contacts) with a capping of one (a single advertising contact per user) for a defined target group and thus the rating, which serves as the basis for calculating the GRP. The advertising performance of the Wilmaa Internet TV platform is stored online with the eGRP in the MediaPro booking tool and can be booked and subsequently evaluated by customers and agencies on the same level as traditional TV stations. The Channel Switch Ad (In Stream) advertising form can be booked with the target group of 15 to 49 year olds.

Cavegn Advertising: Campaign implemented for Modissa

Cavegnwerbung is launching the fifth season of the Modissa campaign, which includes a giant poster on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. Once again, the slogan is: «Fashion, not lifestyle.».

According to the Zurich agency, this season's campaign is once again aimed at women in their mid-thirties who appreciate the motto "fashion instead of lifestyle" and do not change their taste with every trend. The focus should be on great fashion, not short-lived trends. In the campaign, this brand essence is to be expressed unchanged through large-scale, striking motifs that stage the act of creating great fashion on a sketching table. This visual world is supported by the claim, which is intended to express the self-confident attitude of the customers: "Modissa. I know what I want." According to the press release, the claim is intended to help the brand differentiate itself from the youthful fashion world.

The campaign includes a mega poster on Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse and a billboard.

Responsible at Modissa: Samuel Baumberger (Advertising Manager). Responsible at Cavegnwerbung: Markus Cavegn (Art Direction). Text: Markus Rottmann. Consulting: Susanne Marty. Studio Geissbühler: New appearance for the opera house

A year ago, the Zurich Opera House put its branding account up for bid again. Nadine Geissbühler and her team won the pitch—defying the unwritten rule that a newly put-out-for-bid account never stays with its current holder.

In the future, the focus will be less on individualized poster art - as it has been for the past 37 years, according to a statement. "Times are different, people wanted a uniform appearance. Formal recognition is now in the foreground," says Nadine Geissbühler about the brief given to the new management team. They wanted to develop a poster concept that could be realized independently of the respective staging aesthetics or dating. A clear design grid with typical illustrations (François Berthoud) should create a new and consistent style.

All conversions and adaptations were implemented internally at the opera house. Now it's official: Zurich Opera House has a new look. From the logo and typeface to the poster concept and small advertisements.

Responsible at the Zurich Opera House: Sabine Turner (Marketing), Giorgia Tschanz (Graphics). Responsible at Studio Geissbühler: Nadine Geissbühler (Creative Direction), Selina Lang (Art Direction), K.D.Geissbühler (Oeil extérieur).
