Geyst and Val Surses focus on more space for vacations

Geyst created the current summer campaign, «More Space for Vacations,» for Val Surses. The slogan highlights the unique positioning of this Graubünden mountain valley, which is based on the contrast between intimacy and vastness and promises summer vacations away from the mainstream.

The campaign is the direct realization of the valley philosophy "Val Surses. So close to another world". It is intended to emphasize the uniqueness of the valley and deliberately positions Val Surses as an alternative to mass tourism. Where other regions are overcrowded, the valley offers space for real experiences - be it hiking, biking or simply relaxing without the stress of crowds.

The message "In Val Surses you can spread out uninhibitedly" runs through the entire campaign and addresses both physical and mental freedom. Visually, the campaign relies on expansive panoramic subjects that present the landscape and activities in a clear, decelerating visual language.

The measures focus specifically on the quality of interaction rather than pure reach. Site engagement ads from Cptr reach the audience precisely and invite them to actively engage with the campaign content. The ads are aimed at real involvement instead of fleeting clicks - with a focus on length of stay, depth of interaction and relevance. In addition, a conversational ad was developed to address potential guests in a personal way and highlight specific offers in the region.

Tui Suisse and Andfrank whet the appetite for vacations at train stations

In line with Tui’s current brand campaign, Andfrank and Brogleworks have launched a live activation at the train stations in Zurich, Bern, and Basel, designed to appeal to all the senses and stir up a longing for travel.

Within the framework of the Tui's current brand campaign the travel provider designed and implemented a live activation together with Andfrank and Brogleworks. At the main train stations in Zurich, Bern and Basel, a specially developed Tui Experience Cube was set up to appeal directly to the senses of passers-by.

On one wall, visitors could reach inside through openings and feel warm sand, shells or coconuts. Another wall of the cube created the feeling of warming sun on the skin with integrated heat panels. The third wall activated the olfactory sensory experience: the smell of sun cream, lavender from Provence or exotic spices were intended to awaken memories of past vacations and a longing for future vacations and new adventures. On the fourth wall, there was a beach swing as a selfie wall in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the station.

According to the agency, the campaign was a complete success and attracted a large number of visitors who engaged intensively with the Tui brand.

Real21 supports eight journalistic reports on globally relevant topics

In the spring of 2025, the Real21 association will support eight feature stories that explore important global issues—including migration at the U.S. border, yoga in Ukraine, and the daily life of a Swiss surgeon in Afghanistan.

Real21 is dedicated to promoting in-depth foreign reporting. These funding contributions are intended to enable "quieter but no less important stories" from around the world to be told and heard.

In spring 2025, the association will award a total of around CHF 23,000 to eight journalistic projects. The reports will be published in various Swiss media, including Annabelle, The lamb, NZZ on Sunday, Bref - Reformed media and WoZ.

The Real21 2025 jury consists of David Signer (NZZ correspondent), Monika Bolliger (producer at Radio SRF), Karin Wenger (freelance journalist), Martina Fehr (CEO Maz) and Marco Fähndrich (Head of Communications at Alliance Sud).

Coca-Cola launches Peace Tea in Switzerland

Coca-Cola is launching Peace Tea, a new line of caffeinated iced teas, on the Swiss market. Backed by a broad-based marketing campaign and an exclusive launch event, Coca-Cola aims to appeal particularly to younger target groups.

Peace Tea was first launched in North America in 2009 and is reportedly very popular there - especially with a young, active audience. Switzerland is now the first international market in which the brand is available.

The new product line combines black tea with yerba mate, green coffee bean extract and natural fruit flavors, with each flavor containing 75 mg of caffeine. With four flavors - Lively Lemon, Mighty Mango, Berry Boost and Punchy Peach - the drink is designed to meet the needs of an active, trend-conscious target group.

Accompanying multichannel campaign

The market launch will be accompanied by a comprehensive marketing campaign. National POS activations, online and social media campaigns, influencer collaborations and targeted sampling campaigns are planned. The launch will be complemented by digital content and an eye-catching presence in urban areas. The aim is to draw the attention of a young, trendy target group in particular to the new drink.

An exclusive launch event on May 22 with local partners from the creative and fashion scene also promises various surprises.

New appearance for Bern agency Hella Studio

One year after moving into its new studio on the Aare River, the Bern-based agency Hella Studio is undergoing a complete rebranding. The focus is on its strong brand name.

"Hella" stands for "extremely" or "Hell of a lot" and thus powerfully expresses the agency's versatile range of services. This is primarily visible on the newly designed websitewhich was created in close collaboration with Mutoco. The Bern-based digital agency built the powerful technical basis and equipped the website with greatly improved video performance and a modern CMS, which should significantly enhance the digital presentation of Hella Studio's work. "Our cases are now presented visually and in terms of content in the way we want them to be - spacious, dynamic and clearly structured," says Kasper Kobel, co-founder of Hella Studio.

Hella's creative signature

The digital branding was developed in close collaboration between Hella Studio and Mutoco. The aim was to make the creative signature of the Hella team visible and at the same time meet the high demands of the target group in the marketing sector. The result is a lively, personal and at the same time clear website that meets international standards in design and performance.

But not everything about the appearance has been changed. The Hella smiley, for example, remains part of the agency's identity.

Launch with exclusive postcard motif

The new website is activated with a postcard that refers to the relaunch with a wink. The handwritten greeting card is sent to a select group of around 200 potential new and existing customers and friends of the agency.

That was the Leader Digital Award 2025

Eastern Switzerland has once again recognized its digital pioneers: Four outstanding projects were honored at the Leader Digital Award 2025, held Thursday at the Einstein Congress in St. Gallen.

(Pictures: zVg.)

With 31 projects submitted, the award received a record number of entries, according to the sponsors. The nine finalists presented themselves to over 160 guests from the worlds of business, administration, education and politics. The focus was on the question of how digitalization can succeed in concrete terms - and which solutions are already having an impact today.

"The winners in the categories of companies, start-ups and organizations, as well as the audience award winner, impressed with their practical digitalization, technical quality and social relevance," reads a press release on the award.

In the "Company" category, Idip Solution from Sirnach received the award for its Idip low-code platform for the digital mapping of industrial processes. Other nominated projects were Kybun Joya with a self-developed ERP system and Nägele-Capaul with an IoT platform NC IoT.

Studyond from St.Gallen won in the "Start-ups" category with an AI-supported matching platform for companies, universities and students. Other nominated projects were Flawa iQ and its smart first aid kit and Oase Health Solution with its cAirBot platform for care support.

In the "Organizations" category, the winner was KVA Thurgau from Weinfelden. The company operates an e-container portal for intelligent route planning in waste disposal logistics. Other nominated projects came from Abraxas ("Abraxas Voting" - digital solution to support elections and voting) and Technischen Betriebe Wil ("Deine Energie" energy consulting tool).

The audience award went to the Abraxas team.

Varied evening with lots of insights

Jacqueline Gasser-Beck, President of the St.Gallen City Parliament and Head of the Teaching Innovation Lab at the University of St.Gallen, kicked off the Award Night. In her keynote speech "AI competence as a success factor", she showed how targeted further training is the basis for successful digital transformation.

The gala evening, hosted by Daniela Lager, included exciting project presentations, a live vote and also offered plenty of space for exchange, inspiration and new contacts. The start-up Robonnement from Altstätten provided an additional digital accent: it provided two service robots to assist the staff in distributing the dessert.

AI and new perspectives on the human experience

Will artificial intelligence become second nature? Will it bring more creativity into our daily lives? Will it change our society not just technologically, but fundamentally—for the better? Yariv Adan and Murièle Solange Bolay discuss these topics in the latest episode of the Text Akademie’s AI podcast.

(Image: zVg.)

The latest Textakademie AI podcast welcomed two guests this time. Yariv Adan co-developed Google Assistant, Google Cloud and Google Lens, and Murièle Solange Bolay is co-organizer of the "Future of Humanity Experience" - a parallel event to Art Basel. She is also an investor and founder of MSB & Partners, where she has worked as a transformation expert and executive coach for 18 years. The discussion was once again moderated by journalist Christoph Soltmannowski.

Yariv Adan, now General Partner at venture capital firm Ellipsis in Zug, draws a comparison with the beginnings of humanity when it comes to artificial intelligence: "At the moment, we are like cavemen who have just discovered fire and are trying to imagine what they can do with it. The potential goes far beyond our current understanding and imagination".

He describes how voice interfaces facilitate access to technology for everyone, regardless of age, background or technical know-how. "Suddenly everyone can use it - someone who is three years old, someone who is 100 years old, someone who is rich, someone who is poor. Regardless of whether they are tech-savvy or not".

The future of human experience: art as a social laboratory

The former Google product manager will take part as an expert in the "Future of Humanity Experience", which is being co-organized by Murièle Solange Bolay. The event sees itself as a platform for interdisciplinary dialog and brings together representatives from the fields of art, business and science as well as futurists and visionaries. The common goal: to integrate creativity into everyday life and decision-making processes and to generate new perspectives for the future of humanity. "We need to liberate and rediscover ourselves. People need to become aware of their new role - and also discover the potential and perspectives that are opening up in the new world," says Bolay.
