Pepsi uses Coca Cola ad for viral spot

The beverage company Pepsi used the 2013 Coca-Cola commercial «Coke Chase» for its own advertising purposes. The Pepsi clip focuses on a "behind-the-scenes" look at the Coke commercial.

In Pepsi's viral commercial, the supposed actors try in vain to get hold of the caffeinated drink from the vending machine during a break in filming. They deliberately give the Coke machine next to them the cold shoulder. Media.de discovered this banter between the two beverage competitors on Tuesday.

Last but not least: Audience Award for "Homo-Mörgeli"

The Nebelspalter Audience Award for the best caricature of the year goes to Geneva cartoonist Patrick Chappatte for his article on the SVP's setbacks in the NZZ am Sonntag.

The caricature shows the homo-sapiens in a different light, namely as "Homo Blocher", "Homo Zuppiger" and "Homo Mörgeli" in the SVP Historical Museum. Over 200 caricatures by 50 well-known Swiss press cartoonists were available for visitors to choose from for the audience award as part of the annual review exhibition "Gezeichnet 2012" at the Kornhausforum in Bern in December.

Patrick Chappatte's entry received 8 percent of the votes cast, as the organizers announced on Monday.

Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett becomes Leo Burnett Switzerland

The agency Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett, which belongs to Leo Burnett Worldwide, has changed its name. Effective immediately, it will operate under the name Leo Burnett Switzerland. Andy Stäheli, CEO of Leo Burnett Switzerland, comments on the name change.

Since its founding on July 1, 2002, SFLB has been part of Leo Burnett Worldwide. Since February 4, the second largest agency in Switzerland is now called Leo Burnett Switzerland. At the same time as the name change, the former owners Martin Spillmann and Peter Felser are retiring one and a half years after handing over to the new management generation (the advertising week reported) also resigned from the Board of Directors. They are handing over full responsibility to the agency management: Andy Stäheli (CEO), Michael Gassler (Managing Director) and Rolf Zimmermann (Managing Director), Johannes Raggio (Executive Creative Director) as well as Peter Brönnimann (Executive Creative Director), who last week was appointed to the Advertiser of the year 2013 was chosen. CEO Andy Stäheli on the name change:

WW: Andy Stäheli, you have already informed the agency's customers about the name change. How have they reacted to this?
Andy Stäheli: We were able to inform a large number of our customers personally during our 10th anniversary celebration. They sense that the agency will continue to be characterized by personal and good relationships under the new name Leo Burnett Switzerland. I am very pleased that the reactions were consistently positive and that we enjoy such great trust.

SFLB has developed into a strong brand over the past ten years. You don't give up an established brand so easily. How do you ensure that the value is not lost?
Leo Burnett has been an important part of our agency since its inception, part of our identity and part of our name. Moreover, Leo Burnett is one of the world's top 3 agency groups in terms of creativity - which fits perfectly with our ambitions. There is no denying that Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett has been a very strong name in the Swiss communications landscape. We are doing everything we can to transfer what has been achieved to the new brand and also to fill it with new content.

What does the new look look like?
In the future, the Leo Burnett "pencil", which is used worldwide, will characterize our appearance. I personally like this very much because a pencil is precisely the tool that makes an idea visible for the first time. The addition of Switzerland creates identity for us and is an expression of our roots.

Havas Worldwide Zurich: Campaign for CS with Roger Federer

Credit Suisse is launching a new offensive for its Bonviva banking package. The campaign's testimonial is CS brand ambassador Roger Federer.

He's a superstar who has everything taken away from him and everything in life flies to him. Or so people think. The new Bonviva campaign from Havas Worldwide Zurich aims to prove that this is not the case. It plays with the cliché surrounding Federer's celebrity and dispels the prejudice that someone like him settles money matters with a photo, a smile or an autograph.

In three TV commercials, the agency accompanies the tennis star on a tour of flower stores, car dealerships and ATMs. Each time, the question arises as to how Roger Federer goes about withdrawing money and fulfilling wishes. And every time we hear: "It's very simple with Bonviva. It makes banking as pleasant and easy as possible. And for completely normal people like you and me and Roger Federer."

The films are flanked by posters, advertisements, POS and online measures, and radio spots. At Credit Suisse Group's headquarters on Paradeplatz in Zurich, the campaign's message is staged in a three-dimensional way. The campaign is now on air throughout Switzerland.

Walder,Werber motivates young people for construction professions

The construction industry continues to struggle with its image among the general public. Unfairly so, as Walder, a public relations specialist for the Campus Sursee Construction Training Center, now explains.

According to the agency, the construction industry offers responsible, varied jobs, a good wage level, good working conditions and, above all, excellent educational and career opportunities. Campus Sursee wants to initiate this form of rethinking among aspiring professionals. With a playful idea, it wants to motivate young people to learn a profession in the construction sector - and/or to further their education in it.

Together with Walder,Werber, a ladder game was developed for this purpose. The Leiterlispiel comes handy in a foldable pocket guide - together with information on the various training levels as well as a dice and 1-Räppler as game pieces. The Leiterlispiel is intended to show young people how steep their career ladder can be, from construction foreman to company manager, the agency continues. In this game, you can only move up, never down.
