The Mazda brand wants to provide a counterpoint to the superficial Christmas hype by encouraging people to take Christmas back into their own hands. To take time for the real values of Christmas. In doing so, Mazda is breaking with traditional Christmas conventions. And helps to make Christmas even better for everyone. The four image-text motifs appear as large-format advertisements, posters, public transport advertising, animated e-panels, newsletters, Christmas cards and POS material.

Last but not least: Printer breakdown in Indonesia
Hundreds of posters from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in the capital Jakarta informed people that the HIV virus, which causes AIDS, can be transmitted through insect bites, swimming and sneezing. The outrage on the social web was enormous.
Editorial

November 22, 2015
The reason for this misinformation was the meaningful word "not", which the printing company unfortunately forgot. As Pressetext.com writes, the company did not even approve the final draft of the posters before they were put up. This promoted prejudices that the posters were actually intended to counteract. In Indonesia, people who carry the HIV virus are still heavily stigmatized. "The ministry must carry out a massive and systematic awareness campaign to make up for this mistake," demands Aditya Wardhana, activist at the Indonesia AIDS Coalition, according to the press release. "We have publicly apologized and now the banners will be taken down and replaced with the correct ones," Muhammad Subuh, a health ministry official, reassures AFP. "They forgot the word 'not' - it was a sincere mistake." The printing company has also already apologized.
According to estimates by United Nations around 660,000 people in Indonesia are living with the deadly virus. However, there is little knowledge about transmission through blood or sex, even in the highest echelons of politics. In February, Rachmat Gobel, who has since been replaced as trade minister, is even said to have expressed the view that HIV could be transmitted through second-hand clothing. (uma)

Autoenergiecheck.ch was technically implemented by the Somedia Productions web team on Drupal.
Agvs-upsa.ch and Autoberufe.ch, the websites of the Auto Gewerbe Verband Schweiz (AGVS), also designed by Viva, run on the same technical platform.
As part of content management, Viva maintains a newsdesk for all three websites, where all content is collected, selected and edited. The newsdesk provides editorial support for the AGVS websites and social media channels several times a week.
As part of a challenging communications project, Zurich's public transportation company (VBZ) also relied on the experience of the Viva team: on the basis of a sustainable communications strategy, Viva for Communications created a whole range of internal and external communications materials and then implemented them on a wide variety of channels, partly with the help of VBZ's internal communications department.
Agency at the airport shows extravagant world for Swiss Casinos
Casinos have a somewhat seedy, dangerous reputation. While the reality is far more down-to-earth, the campaign developed by the agency at the airport for Swiss Casinos was intended to capture precisely this fabulous world.

Hollywood has contributed to this myth with relevant films. People still like to think of casinos as a world of make-believe, in which bizarre characters pull the strings in the background and into which you can immerse yourself for a short time during a visit to the casino. The new image campaign on posters and advertisements for the market leader in Swiss casinos highlights this escape from everyday life.

Contexta: You make the shoe
With a new brand identity created by Contexta, Vögele Shoes celebrates personal style and the joy of wearing truly great, stylish shoes.

November 20, 2015
Working closely with Vögele Shoes management and the Board of Directors, the new lead agency Contexta developed the brand strategy with a sharpened positioning and focus on the intended target customer, as CEO Max Vögele explains: "As the Vögele Shoes brand, we have a very special mission: we don't just sell really good, stylish shoes. We do everything we can to make women feel good and completely themselves in their shoes." According to Nadine Borter, Managing Director and owner of Contexta, the comprehensive analyses and market research have shown what really moves women: not primarily fashion or fashion, nor the shoes themselves as the object of desire. "What is more relevant is individual style as an expression of one's own personality. Swiss women have their own personal style. Every single one of them. And we want to stage that in a modern, fashionable and likeable way and express it with the new claim: You make the shoe."
The core of the campaign is formed by four TV spots, which were realized with Stories and director Hanna Maria Heidrich. Each of the spots portrays a protagonist whose life, idiosyncrasies and clothing style are described with many subtle details. This makes Marlen, Viola, Nicole and Anna special characters in whom one quickly finds oneself. We don't see flawless beauties, but women in whose faces life has left its natural traces. And the shoes from Vögele Shoes are staged just as naturally and naturally at the end of the films.
In addition to the four TV commercials as lead media, the new brand presence also includes print implementations, various online measures, different POS stagings, and multi-stage sales campaigns. In order to consistently implement the new brand strategy, the online presence as well as the store and consulting concept will be redesigned as further development steps. The first work on this will be seen later this year.
Responsible at Vögele Shoes: Max Manuel Vögele (CEO), Adrian Grossholz (CCO), Marco Greco (Head of Marketing Communications). Production: Stories; directed by Hanna Maria Heidrich, Hamburg. Media: Mediaplus, Bern.

Ringier's digital presence was completely revamped in terms of structure, content and visuals. Along the claim "We inform. We entertain. We connect" - which represents Ringier's three fields of activity, publishing, entertainment and digital - all relevant information about the company has been reworked, Ringier said in a statement. Multimedia and interactive features as well as an optimal presentation on all end devices - implementation in Responsive Design - round off the improved usability for online visitors.
While the concept for the new website was created in-house, the Zurich brand agency Zürich Tokio was responsible for the screen design - as it had been for the rebranding. The technical implementation was carried out by the Aarau agency Previon+, which specializes in the realization of digital platforms and strategy consulting.

This year's Epica edition came to a worthy conclusion in the former premiere cinema of the GDR, which was well filled with around 300 people. Hosted by Editorial Director Mark Tungate, the show offered the best entertainment in places and, especially in the first half, thrilled the audience, who apparently saw many of the gold works presented for the first time. Because of the late submission deadline, the Epicas have the advantage of awarding prizes to many campaigns that are still "unused." All winners can here can be retrieved.

Publicis Conseil gives you goose bumps
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the presentation of the Gold Award in the "Animation" category for the Renault Clio film "Go anywhere, go everywhere". The jury chose it as the winner of the category without knowing that the responsible lyricist Fabrice Dubois had died a few days earlier in the terrorist attacks in Paris. This information was deliberately withheld until after the jury's decision to ensure a fair competition. The fact that the Clio spot still won - despite strong competition - was a nice coincidence in a tragic context.
Leaders of the agency, which lost two of its employees and friends in the attacks, accepted the award and, fighting back tears, addressed the late Dubois in a humorous, heartfelt letter. Instead of a moment of silence, the moved room then commemorated the deceased with a minute of applause, paying tribute to his work.
Grand Prix: Japan outshines everything
This year, the four Grand Prix go to Austria (Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann / Outdoor), England (AdamandeveDBB / Press), Holland (J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam / Digital) and Japan (Watts of Tokyo / Film). The Japanese agency, which came all the way from Tokyo to accept the award in Berlin in person, caused a stir among the jury and the audience with its film "High School Girl?" for cosmetics manufacturer Shiseido.
The original version without subtitles: In the middle of the spot, the notebook says in Japanese "Did you spot the boy in the room?"; on the blackboard, "Correction: All were boys"; and at the end, the claim "Everyone can be beautiful."

JWT Amsterdam also impressed with its campaign for the online translator Elan - incidentally the only award for a Dutch agency this year. An experiment was used to demonstrate how differently Elan and Google Translate translate. A Japanese rezpet for a sushi rice cake was translated and recreated.
The Press Grand Prix goes to London to the AdamandeveDDB agency for the "John Lewis Southampton" campaign for the British department store chain John Lewis.
The Outdoor Grand Prix goes to Austria. Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann has developed billboards for Mini that respond to light signals and synchronously change the color of the Minis on display.

The relaunch of the website Gartengestaltung.ch was planned in the context of a far-reaching communicative reorientation and implemented based on the CMS WordPress. With the new responsive website, Parc's is not only responding to the change in user behavior, but also placing a clear focus on reference objects and garden inspiration with generous images, great typography and few words.
The aim of the relaunch was to simplify user guidance, present the offer in a clearly structured way and give sufficient space to emotional content. Visitors can now navigate through the reference objects in the various fields of activity and be inspired by the garden impressions on display. The focus is also on the working methods of garden designers. This page was developed as a scroll page based on one of the countless WordPress plugins, with which methodical work steps can be displayed sequentially in an appealing way. This allows visitors to get to know the garden design process step by step and find out how their new garden is created.
As part of the relaunch, #DecemberandJuly also created the new claim "Gardens like a vacation", which has now been introduced.
Responsible at Parc's: Carmen Schoder (Head of Communications), Simon Rüegg (Managing Director), Daniel Egli and Christian Egli (owners). Responsible at #DecemberandJuly: Patrick Jauch (Creative Direction, Project Management), Birgit Ostertag (Art Direction), Jérôme Meier (Web Development).

The focus is on the unusual bottle of the noble brandy from Bologna. Market research has attested to the triangular shape's high level of recognition.
The campaign for Vecchia Romagna consists of measures for off- and on-trade. These include advertisements in daily newspapers, consumer magazines and special interest magazines, as well as posters and point-of-sale measures.
