Novo Media: Cooperation with Ultra Images

Novo Media has entered into a partnership with Ultra Images to market TV sponsorships.

Together, the two companies offer independent TV producers the opportunity to market their formats and thus create clear added value for them thanks to innovative special forms of advertising. The first projects are already underway.
Novo Media Managing Partner Matthias Luchsinger is very pleased about the partnership: "The last few weeks have shown that the advertising market is ripe for new types of cooperation and creative solutions," he is quoted as saying in a press release. Luchsinger uses the "old pattern" of media marketing to expand on his statement: "Until now, marketers have relied on mass. As much as possible and as everywhere as possible. But we say: if you want to be relevant in your niche and make an impact as an advertising client, you have to rely on new forms of networking people, media and content. This is exactly where the cooperation with Ultra Images comes in."

Last but not least: Cheerful hat knitting for the benefit of the elderly

For every smoothie with a knitted hat sold, Innocent donates 50 centimes to Pro Senectute, which uses these donations to ensure that older people in Switzerland stay warm through the coming winter. And because the woolly works of art are too good to throw away, Innocent is now also looking for suggestions for recycling knitted hats. Good ideas can now be sent to [email protected] send. The most original will be published with a photo on Innocentsmoothies.ch published.

Axel Springer increases profit and sales

The success of its international and Internet businesses has given the German media group Axel Springer a strong boost in profits and sales. Net income in the third quarter rose from 49.7 to 87.3 million euros compared to the previous year.

Revenues rose from 631.4 million euros to 711 million euros, as Axel Springer announced on Wednesday according to SDA. Axel Springer benefited from the joint venture with Ringier in Eastern Europe. The two media companies have been operating jointly there since July 2010 - Axel Springer therefore recorded a 55.8 percent increase in revenues in Eastern Europe in the third quarter. Calculated over nine months, revenues in this segment rose by 19.4 percent. Without the joint venture with Ringier, Axel Springer's revenues in Eastern Europe would have grown by only 5 percent.
The German media group grew by 16.9 percent to 162.5 million euros, not only in Eastern Europe, but also in international newspapers in general. In Switzerland, various TV program guides as well as Bilanz, Handelszeitung and Beobachter, among others, belong to the German publishing house. SLFB: Grittibänze also love Floralp

The Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett agency has continued the «Irresistible» campaign for Floralp.

As the spring campaign with the hedgehogs has already shown, Floralp is also a reason for dough animals to get weak in the knees. Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett has now taken this idea a step further with a new motif. The dough men are now also addicted to the preferred butter. So much so that the happy Floralp Mödeli-Ergatterer flees from his companions so as not to have to share. The motif has been used as a single and double poster in German- and French-speaking Switzerland since the beginning of November.

Last but not least: Alktest aims to prevent embarrassing postings on the social web

Anyone who, after a long night with good friends, equally good music, and a few too many beers, staggers home tired in the early morning and quickly sits down at the computer to wish their friends good night on Facebook will often be in for a nasty surprise the next morning.

The day after, you may only vaguely remember turning on your PC, and perhaps the Facebook logo is still vaguely in your mind's eye. Anyone who dares to check what traces their nightly social media visit has left behind can expect embarrassing to very embarrassing publications of comments, pictures or videos. This can be avoided in future: An alcohol test plugin is designed to prevent postings while intoxicated.
Here's how it works: the software tool uses five different, relatively simple skill tests to check whether the user is sober enough not to stumble on the social web. For example, a circle that moves across the screen must be followed with the mouse, or the alphabet must be typed backwards. If the test is not passed, the plugin blocks access to the portal. The installation of the test developed by security specialist Webroot is of course voluntary, but is recommended for anyone who likes to spend time on social websites in a drunken state.
