Advico Young&Rubicam recommends running shoes from Ryffel Running

This fall, SportXX will open its first four Ryffel Running by SportXX stores in Basel-Dreispitz, Steinhausen (Zug), Marin-Centre, and Glatt. Advico Young&Rubicam has therefore designed a new brand identity for Ryffel Running.

The claim is based on the special nature of the stores: All employees are enthusiastic runners themselves and are specially trained by Swiss running pioneers Markus and Urs Ryffel, as the agency writes in a press release on Tuesday. After a personal consultation and a professional foot analysis, they only recommend running shoes to customers that are perfectly suited to their feet and running style. The slogan of the opening campaign is accordingly: A running shoe that is painted directly on the foot.

The agency won the overall mandate in a pitch. The contract comprises the complete communication including visual appearance, logo, claim and the opening promotions.

Amnesty International: People disappear every day

Amnesty International has launched a campaign focused on the disappearance of people. The haunting campaign was created in collaboration with Mediaplus.

The campaign was launched at the airport in Munich in counter hall 2. Mediapuls and Amnesty International literally made people disappear using a camera, a giant monitor and technical tricks. For this purpose, the camera was placed behind a monitor in a highly frequented gallery and was thus able to faithfully capture the real images of waiting people in the counter hall, which were obscured by the screen. By means of masks made from images of the deserted hall, it was possible to make specific people disappear on the monitor. This is how Ekki Frenkler, creative director of the Mediaplus Group, explained the procedure according to Horizon.net.

Amnesty International is now distributing the video resulting from this action via social media. The film runs under the claim "Every day people disappear. With a donation you help to find them again". At the end of the spot, a QR code is displayed that takes smartphone users to the Amnesty International website. Users can find more information about the campaign and also learn how they can support the organization with donations.
