Thanks to its successful operations on national and international markets and 15 years of continuous growth, Marbet has now become a brand in its own right, according to a press release. Marbet is now presenting itself following a successful CI relaunch. The agency went down this path together with brand experts. Michael Knoedgen from Knoedgen Brand Consulting & Design, Hannes Oestreich and his team from the Oestreich advertising agency and Volker Remy from Creative Business Development were brought on board. According to the press release, one of the aims of the relaunch was to develop a strong word and image brand that ensures a high level of recognition and acts as an umbrella brand for the company units.

Wunderman visualizes the New World of Work for Microsoft

Working where, when, and how it suits you best. Just a few years ago, this was still a utopian dream, but this work style—known as the “New World of Work”—is now the norm at Microsoft.

In order to bring the advantages of the New World Of Work closer to the employees as well as the many visitors, Wunderman Zurich came up with something special for the video screen in the newly remodeled headquarters of Microsoft Switzerland, the agency said in a statement. Using software written especially for this project, the mouse movements of various Microsoft employees were recorded and then edited into a film. In this way, it is shown in a visually impressive way that with the latest Microsoft solutions, one is no longer bound to fixed work locations and office hours.

For the start of the new broadcasting slot, he will be on the road in a ski resort on Tuesday, March 6, 2012.

Content from the community and animal topics
Zambo's active online community also continues to have a fixed place in the program. Every Wednesday, the live show revolves around people and topics from the www.zambo.ch community. Lifestyle, music, hobbies, but also serious topics "right from the heart of life" are discussed. The Thursday stands in the indication of the animals. Documentaries, animal experts or animal owners round off the diverse and exciting stories about animals and their owners.

"My Story"- the new documentary series
Friday kicks off with an in-house produced documentary series. The Zambo team accompanies children and young people over a longer period of time and gives the audience an insight into the lives of the protagonists. Each docu-series consists of three to six episodes. It will start on Friday, March 2, 2012, at 4:30 p.m.

"Best Friends" with new episodes
The daily schoolhouse series "Best Friends" is going into its third round. Uni Zurich: Kurt Imhof wants to hand over management of the Fög

The Fög research department of sociologist and media professor Kurt Imhof is to be transformed into an institute. At the same time, Imhof wants to hand over its management.

Professor Kurt Imhof would like more public funding for his work, and the University of Zurich seems willing to accommodate him in this regard. A spokeswoman confirmed to the Tages-Anzeiger that the "option" of "transforming the research area into an associated institute" is being discussed. Neither the university nor Imhof himself wanted to be more specific. Both emphasized that the decision was not final.

More money for the "Quality of the media" yearbook

However, as several people familiar with the internal university processes confirmed to the Tages-Anzeiger, the upgrade is not just an "option": the university rectorate has the firm intention of ennobling the Fög with the title of institute. The new institute is also to receive additional university funding for its research, in particular for the comprehensive yearbook "Quality of the Media" published by the Fög.

At the same time as the transformation into an institute, the 56-year-old Imhof wants to hand over the management of the Fög to three of his closest colleagues and "step down operationally", as it is said. Imhof will instead become President of the Foundation Board. He will also remain a professor at the Institute of Sociology and the Institute of Political Science. Imhof's reason for stepping down is that he wants to make the future "Institute for the Public Sphere and Society" more independent from himself and secure its future development.

According to the Tages-Anzeiger, however, Imhof's planned withdrawal has been received differently: Already informed private clients of the Fög welcome the move, because the future institute will be better separated from Imhof's controversial persona. His frequent appearances in the media and his disputes with journalists and publishers about the Yearbook on Media Quality had led to frowns among these clients.

Dialog Marketing Award 2012: 25 percent more submissions than in 2011

Overall, 25 percent more entries were submitted to the 2012 Swiss Dialog Marketing Awards than last year. This means the competition for the trophies will once again be significantly tougher.

The submissions of dialog campaigns from Switzerland have regained the top spot, according to a press release issued on Monday. In recent years, foreign works have always been ahead in terms of quantity in the individual categories. Swiss campaigns have now relegated the "International" category to fourth place, albeit at a high level.

Online category leads the way

What has been indicated in recent years has now come true: the "Digital dialog measures" category has the largest share among the individual categories. This has increased by a further 50 percent compared to the previous year. Nevertheless, it is also clear that physical mailings make up by far the largest share of all submissions overall, but are spread across several individual categories. Mass mailings with a circulation of over 25,000 recorded an increase of 64%.

Audience and jury decide

From March 1 to 5, 2012, all submitted works will be presented in a public exhibition at the Papiersaal Sihlcity in Zurich. All visitors are invited to vote for their favorite for the public prize sponsored by AZ Direct. All other prize winners will be selected by a 20-member jury. The winners will be announced on June 22, 2012 at the Award Night at the Kongresshaus Zurich, when the theme is "Spiel mir das Lied vom Sieg".
