Vizner Borel for IGSU: Please clean up Switzerland

IGSU (Clean Environment Association) is organizing the national Clean-Up Day in Switzerland on September 9 and 10, 2016. Vizner Borel is promoting the event.

Clean-Up Day is part of the international "Let's Do it!" movement, which was founded in 2008 and campaigns worldwide against littering. About 100 countries around the world participate in the day of action. Vizner Borel, IGSU's long-standing communications agency, was commissioned to publicize Clean-Up Day 2016 with new key visuals and to encourage residents as well as companies and associations to get involved.

At the center of the campaign is the key visual of the well-known door hanger with the message "Please clean up. In various motifs in typical Swiss landscapes, it makes an oversized and eye-catching appeal for people to take part in Clean-Up Day. At the same time, the door hanger acts as an original information flyer that can be distributed or hung up everywhere as a guerrilla measure. The campaign is now present throughout Switzerland with posters, advertisements and an information flyer.

Numéro 10: Campaign for the Fribourg region to mark the start of the Schwingfest

The Numéro 10 agency has launched a campaign to inform visitors to the Swiss Wrestling Festival about the beauty of the Fribourg region.

As part of the Swiss Wrestling Festival "Estavayer 2016", which will take place from 26 to 28 August 2016, Fribourgissima, the Fribourg tourism region, and the regional community of La Broye (COREB) have brought the bilingual agency Numéro 10 on board to design and implement a promotional campaign for the Saanenland, La Broye and Lake Murten.

The campaign focuses primarily on the 250,000 visitors who will attend the three-day event. True to the motto "There's so much to do and discover here", wrestling fans, party-goers and families from all over Switzerland will be inspired by campaign subjects that bring the charm of the region to light.

The concept emphasizes the tourist, economic, cultural and historical assets of the Fribourg region. And all this with a playful wink at the world and the technical language of wrestling. The campaign runs from April to the end of August 2016 and can be seen in the press, on posters, digitally, mobile and on social networks. It will also be shown on public transport and, of course, at the festival site.

Last but not least: Everything for the cat

An English Kickstarter project aims to replace all advertising space in a London subway station with pictures of cats.

And for two reasons. First, because it would look great. Second, because it's exhausting to be constantly asked to spend money. Especially when you can't afford the new car, the nice vacation or the necessary insurance anyway.

Unbenannt-58

The movement is called Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (C.A.T.S) and aims to raise at least 23'000 pounds. It costs around 20'000 pounds to rent the advertising space on the track of a smaller subway station for two to three weeks - the rest is production costs. The more money raised, the bigger the station becomes. 75'000 pounds costs a whole, smaller subway station.

Those who contribute 100 pounds will find their own cat on a poster - already 13 of 50 places are gone. For 2500 pounds there is an own poster for the house cat - professionally staged by a photographer. Only cat, no logos or explanations. For five pounds, by the way, you get the C.A.T.S. adblocker, which replaces online advertising with cat pictures - five placements of your own cat included.

The action is anti-advertising - but no matter, it's about cats. Everyone likes cat pictures. And the providers of the advertising space probably like the campaign, too. Because you don't look a booked horse in the mouth. Whether the campaign will be successfully financed remains to be seen. Forecast: It will. (hae)

Cable network operators with fewer TV and more telephony customers

Cable network operators in Switzerland once again lost TV subscribers in the first quarter, but gained more Internet and phone customers. In the industry’s traditional core business—television—they lost 127,000 subscribers over the past year.

This is 4.8 percent less than twelve months ago, as the communications network industry association Suissedigital (formerly: Swisscable) announced in a communiqué on Tuesday. At the end of March, 2.495 million households were still watching TV via cable. By comparison, Swisscom was able to increase the number of TV connections by 166,000 to 1.367 million in the same period. This is an increase of 13.8 percent compared to the end of March last year. Overall, according to estimates by Switzerland's largest telecoms group, the number of TV customers in Switzerland is likely to have increased by 15,000 to 4.504 million since the end of December. This means that the TV market in Switzerland has grown by half a million customers since 2011. On the other hand, cable operators attracted 78,900 new telephony customers in the last twelve months, giving them a total of 774,000 fixed and mobile customers. The lion's share of this was accounted for by traditional fixed-network telephony, which grew by 40,600 to 721,100 customers. Mobile communications, which was only launched in 2014, grew by 38,300 to 52,900 customers. Broadband Internet also increased by 37,400 to 1.217 million customers. (SDA)

Ruf Lanz: Welcome to the quietest place in Lenzerheide

Relaxation instead of action: Ruf Lanz advertises the quiet Hotel Guarda Val with negative customer reviews.

Guarda Val is a special Maiensässhotel, spread over eleven huts and stables that are up to 300 years old. Located in the hamlet of Sporz, directly above Lenzerheide at 1600 meters above sea level, it combines the fascination of Graubünden's Alpine tradition with luxury, indulgence and personal service. Guarda Val is the right place for people looking for peace and relaxation at a high level. And it is the wrong place for anyone looking for partying, disco, shopping and action.

This is pointedly expressed in Ruf Lanz's new image campaign. Typical party freaks and package tourists make their unflattering comments about Guarda Val in the style of review portals. A small sample: "I saw three deer... I would have preferred a few hot chicks."

Marketing managers see knowledge about the customer as the biggest challenge

The eighth edition of the annual international survey «Digital Marketer Report» highlights the challenges, top priorities, and other key issues facing marketing professionals worldwide.

This year, the area identified by marketing managers with the greatest need for action also corresponds to the area they named as the most important task: 38% of those surveyed worldwide stated that understanding the needs, wishes and attitudes of customers is the greatest challenge in 2016 (EMEA region: 14%). For 52%, improving knowledge about the customer is one of the three most important to-dos (EMEA region: 15%). Other key challenges include increasing their own visibility compared to competitors (global respondents: 13 percent; EMEA region respondents: 19 percent) and staying ahead of new marketing trends (global respondents: 11 percent; EMEA region respondents: 17 percent). Technology integration (global respondents: 15 percent) and the collection, networking and management of data (global respondents: 11 percent) are among the other key tasks.

Unbenannt-11_95

"The marketing of the future will be driven by the promise of a first-class customer experience at all times. This presents a real challenge for companies, as customer intolerance of poor brand interactions is putting significant pressure on companies to adopt data-driven strategic approaches," says Stephane Baranzelli, Managing Director EMEA at publisher Experian Marketing Services. "Today's brand managers have recognized the importance of knowing the customer, but acquiring knowledge remains difficult. As our survey shows, this is one of the biggest challenges for all marketers worldwide - regardless of company size or industry."

And what is keeping the EMEA region busy?

The Digital Marketer Report 2016 provides further interesting results for the EMEA region in particular, some of which differ slightly from the international results:

- 85% of the marketing managers surveyed there stated that they would implement cross-channel marketing campaigns in 2016
- 93 percent say that their (customer) communication is already personalized
- 86% are convinced that marketing teams are responsible for the integrated customer experience across all channels or will be in the near future
- Only 23 percent confirm that their marketing team is fully integrated

The top priority for respondents in the EMEA region is the "integration of technology to automate, harmonize and execute cross-channel interactions with customers" (18%). In second place is the improvement of knowledge about customers (15 percent), and third place among the most important to-dos is the better networking of organizational departments to achieve greater customer centricity (14 percent).

Unlike globally, EMEA marketing managers ranked the collection, networking and management of data as one of the three most important areas of action in 2016 (43.3% of respondents). The biggest challenges on the way to a single customer view are seen by respondents in terms of technology for integrating customer data points in real time (17%), access to data across the entire company organization (15%) and keeping data up to date (15%).

Unbenannt-10_100

Gregor Wolf, Managing Director of Experian Marketing Services Germany, explains: "High-quality data and powerful technologies for integrated data usage in the content-creative and media areas across the entire campaign process and all systems involved are of central importance for the functioning of a successful single-customer-view-based marketing approach. Only this combination enables the high-quality customer experience demanded by consumers and a new dimension of intelligent customer communication."

Vizner Borel: New splendor, New Aargauer Bank

Since April 1, Neue Aargauer Bank (NAB) has been showcasing a new brand identity developed by Vizner Borel.

This reflects the bank's claim to itself in its modern, customer-oriented style: To be and remain the bank of first choice for the people of Aargau. The campaign focuses on customers who have found the right solution for their financial concerns in their life situation.

With 33 branches in the canton of Aargau, Neue Aargauer Bank's proximity to its customers is not just lip service, but a real added value of the financial institution, whose roots in the region go back to 1812. Tradition and origin are also important and rock-solid pillars on which Neue Aargauer Bank stands. In order to maintain and expand its position as a leading regional bank, NAB offers state-of-the-art banking products, competent, highly trained staff, solution-oriented services and personal advice.

Communication from the customer's perspective

Those responsible at Neue Aargauer Bank wanted to sharpen the attractiveness of the regional bank thanks to its many values and advantages in communications and thus revitalize the brand. After an extremely lean and efficient agency evaluation process in the fall of last year, the concept of the communications agency Vizner Borel was convincing. In future, the new campaign will focus even more strongly on the consistent focus on solutions for customers. This attitude is emphasized with the new claim from the customer's perspective: "My solution. New Aargauer Bank."

NAB_kampagne_eigenwerbung

After all, NAB's values benefit customers whose financial needs change depending on their life situation, age or stage of life. This is where the "My solution" promise sets an example. Neue Aargauer Bank's promise to have the right solution for every situation is presented attractively in the new campaign and demonstrated with the respective products, offers or services.

NAB_kampagne_eigenwerbung2
NAB_kampagne_eigenwerbung3

And why from the customer's point of view? Neue Aargauer Bank presents itself as it is perceived by its customers. Because it is about the specific customer needs that are to be satisfied. It is about their trust, which NAB wants to gain and strengthen. It is about their finances, which the bank takes care of. In other words, it is the very individual, personal solutions of each individual customer.

NAB_kampagne_eigenwerbung4
NAB_kampagne_eigenwerbung5

Real-life implementations

In line with the concept, the visuals show various situations from the lives of customers, to whose well-being NEUE Aargauer Bank has contributed with an individual solution. A star shines in each image as a life-affirming recognition feature. The emotional images are supported by the headline style, which sets the scene for the Neue Situation paired with the NAB. The consistent use of "New ..." means finding a new personal solution for every new need. Through the verbal reference to the NAB in every advertising medium, the campaign always supports the brand and is therefore unique.

NAB_kampagne_eigenwerbung6

Neue Aargauer Bank's overall campaign encompasses all advertising media: from TV/cinema commercials, posters, advertisements, product brochures, promotional offers, Internet presence through to the entire POS presence.

Ogilvy One: Nimble fingers for e-billing

Those who pay with e-bill keep outgoing payments under control and save time. To anchor these two main advantages, Ogilvy One has launched a new campaign with competition on behalf of the e-bill providers (Six Paynet and Postfinance).

Two videos form the core of the 2016 campaign as TrueView ads. The videos playfully sum up the two main advantages of "fast and easy payment" and "everything under control":

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VveUW8xKkL4

A hand curves across a desk on a finger skateboard. The fingers jump off, click on a computer mouse in flight - and in no time at all the e-bill is paid.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iako9pPSKxg

Two fingers elegantly juggle a mini soccer ball. Suddenly the ball is kicked into the air, the free fingers use the moment to click the mouse - full control thanks to payment with e-bill.

In addition to the videos, banners, performance and Google ads, invoice inserts and flyers are used. The measures lead to the website E-bill.chwhere visitors can find out how to sign up for e-bill and take part in the competition. The campaign and competition started in mid-April 2016.
