Valais and Keystone-SDA sign service agreement

The Canton of Valais and Keystone-SDA have signed a service agreement to expand the production of editorial content covering current events in Valais. The agreement covers the period 2025–2028.

Keystone-SDA

The economic situation of the media has deteriorated in recent years, mainly due to the decline in advertising revenue, the loss of subscription revenue, the digitization of information and the population's changing habits in terms of access to information. These economic difficulties affect both the media themselves and the institutions that provide them with services, such as Keystone-SDA.

In order to guarantee media coverage, the State of Valais and Keystone-SDA have signed a performance mandate for the period 2025-2028. According to this mandate, the news agency will receive CHF 70,000 per year to strengthen the production of regional news from and for the canton of Valais on topics of political, economic and social importance and to increase the attractiveness of regional feeds for the media. This reporting will take place within the framework of the agency's usual editorial principles.

The reports published by the news agencies to cover current events form a solid and reliable basis for the work of the media. By signing this performance mandate, the State of Valais wishes to support the diversity and independence of the media, which are essential for a functioning democracy and act as a counterweight to disinformation.

The Zurich-based agency Bühler & Bühler has developed a new branding strategy for the construction services provider Schlagenhauf and implemented various related communication initiatives.

Rolf Schlagenhauf AG offers construction services such as painting, flooring, plastering, remodeling, facades and complete renovations in the greater Zurich area. Bühler & Bühler has developed a completely new branding for the company, which was founded in 1934.

The visual and content-related core is formed by a design element in the form of a slanted "T". It stands for "Team Schlagenhauf" and thus the distinctive value character of the almost hundred-year-old company. It also visually symbolizes the topic of construction and statics and stands for the company's services.

The element is part of the logo on the one hand, but is also used extensively or as a pattern on other applications. It characterizes the entire appearance of Schlagenhauf and, together with the two shades of blue, creates an unmistakable look. The two subcontractors Büchi+Fischer and Top Design are also integrated into the overall appearance.

In addition to the new website, Bühler & Bühler's new branding includes vehicle and clothing lettering as well as construction boards and numerous printed business materials.

The content has been restructured, reduced and sharpened. The new website gets to the heart of the Beka Group's services and conveys its holistic approach, while at the same time the new site is much more intuitive to navigate.

In the design, existing elements are further developed and interpreted in a contemporary way through a bolder use of typography, white space and colors. Newly developed design elements translate the positioning in a communicative and formally appealing way. In addition, the color spectrum was expanded and contemporary icons and illustrations were designed. The logo has been modernized and animated structures are now used as a unifying stylistic device.

In keeping with the new look, TBS also used a fresh photographic style for the portraits of the consultants. Overall, the website appears more spacious and lighter, tidier and more striking. This makes the Beka Group and its areas of activity an emotional experience.

The website is based on WordPress and was realized with a proven programming partner. This also significantly simplified operation and content maintenance and added new functionalities. At the same time, the process was streamlined.

The employer website has a fresh design with an expanded color palette, modern fonts and striking icons. The redesigned careers website invites you to get to know Pflegimuri's work culture. A central element is an image concept that shows employees in their day-to-day work and makes the value proposition visually tangible.

For the internal launch, all employees received a package containing a bag and a flyer introducing the new employer brand. A video explaining the creation process of the brand and its significance awaits them on the careers website.
