Last but not least: Buy yourself a bag of German, girl!

The thing about Heidi Klum is quite simple: she's successful and has a real talent for marketing. For that, she's admired by most, loved by many—and hated by some.

Ok, admittedly, Heidi is not bad looking (quite a few think so), she is greedy enough to have become rich (enviable) and gets job and family under one hat (because she can afford a gold-plated nanny). The beautiful monies would also be well invested in a language course. Because: Heidi Klum doesn't know German. Her command of German grammar is even worse "than that of" Dieter Bohlen. And that means something.
Tragically, it doesn't matter if s'Heidi knows German. People tune in. Week after week, the ratings of the model mom from Bergisch Gladbach rise. And she also has the advertisers in her grip: Her face can only be used in advertising if you have explained exactly "how" you want to use the picture, otherwise Papa Günther will be angry. We've known since the beginning of 2009: Heidi only wants to be on Pro Sieben on Thursdays for hot grilled meat. Unemployed butcher Heinz F., who advertised a barbecue with Heidi's face, had to experience this on his own sausage. Once again, Heidi gave 100 percent.
Entertainment television teaches us that life is hard but unfair. Those who speak gibberish are successful. And: A program is as good as its viewers. There are simply people who have sworn allegiance to Heidi and her show. Admittedly without knowing what they are doing. And without regard for the stomach ulcers of language aesthetes. For example, "anne" blogs on the community of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung: "Ok, so Germanys next Topmodel is supertol!!!" (sic!). Na tol. THAT is the real crisis.

Credit Suisse: Dougan takes over marketing and communications

In future, CS Group CEO Brady Dougan will also be responsible for communications and marketing at the big bank. Dougan is thus taking over some of the responsibilities of former Chief Operating Officer Urs Rohner, whose role was abolished following his election to the Board of Directors. Rohner has retained only public policy, the relationship with governments and politicians, from his former area of responsibility. Last but not least: British journalists as undercover investigators

Shrewd British journalists have once again succeeded in uncovering the government's dark secrets. Their investigation focused not only on the machinations of politicians, but also on the security system surrounding Queen Elizabeth.

Clever British journalists have once again succeeded in uncovering the secret machinations of their parliamentarians. A report in the Sunday Telegraph newspaper revealed that several MPs not only claimed allowances for their main residence, but also financed their second home with money from the state coffers. This was on the grounds that family members were allegedly working for them there. One politician, for example, claimed to employ his son as a researcher. Unfortunately, there was no evidence of his work.
However, the investigative journalists did not just target the politicians. The royal family was also targeted. Two employees of a British tabloid managed to take a seat in the Queen's Bentley in exchange for a bribe of the equivalent of 1,700 francs. The job of a British investigative journalist involves not only keeping an eye on politicians, but also uncovering security flaws in the royals' home and looking after Queen Elizabeth's well-being.
