The Schlieren-based production company creates TV programs as well as video, film and sound works in its studios and with a team of 28 people.
Christoph Blocher founded the consulting firm Robinvest, based in Männedorf, in 2008. It is managed by his youngest daughter Rahel Blocher.

Last but not least: Just don't roll your eyes

Axe has a new commercial. As usual, it comes across as a bit shrill. The protagonist is a young man suffering from unspeakable underarm wetness, who can be seen trying to flirt. However, these are not very successful... until the advertised antiperspirant finally comes into play.

At the beginning of the commercial, a pretty blonde is approaching, but the main actor rolls his eyes because he has to keep one eye constantly on his armpits. The drama is inevitable: The beloved finds neither the eye focused on his armpits nor the dark spot overly attractive and turns away. By chance, the main character discovers in an advertisement that there is a very simple solution to his problem, namely anti-perspirant with the Axe effect. From then on, eye-rolling is a thing of the past - and the ladies are at his feet.

The film, which can now be seen throughout Switzerland on all major private channels and online, was conceived by BBH in London. The language adaptation for Switzerland was realized by the agency Dokyo from Hamburg. Mindshare, Zurich, is responsible for the media placements. The campaign, which runs until mid-February, will be accompanied by online and PR.

Zofinger Tagblatt now as a two-page newspaper

The Zofinger Tagblatt (ZT) in the canton of Aargau was published for the first time on Monday as a newspaper with two sections. The ZT, an independent partner in the Mittelland Zeitung media group, now prints the newspaper itself.

According to Monday's edition of ZT, local printing saves time in delivery. Up to now, the main paper from the four federal states was printed by the Aargauer Zeitung in Aarau. The regional section was produced and enclosed as a fifth edition in Zofingen. As in the past, the ZT takes over the jacket section from the Mittelland Zeitung. The first bundle is dedicated to national topics and sport. Regional topics are dealt with in the second bundle. The ZT (with the Luzerner Nachrichten front page) is published with a circulation of just under 15,000 copies.

Farner Index 2010: Budgets lower, savings trend slowed down

The 500 largest Swiss companies are cutting their communications budgets in 2010 for the third consecutive year. However, the decline is significantly less severe than in the previous year, as shown by the 2010 Communications Index compiled by the PR agency Farner. Once again, spending on public relations is well above the overall index.

With a value of 61, the Farner Index is 7 percentage points below the previous year. However, the decline is significantly less pronounced than in the previous year, when the index fell by 18 points. As in the previous year, Swiss companies cite the change in available funds as the main reason for the cost-cutting measures. Previously, changes in demand had been cited as the main reason for budget adjustments. Six out of ten Swiss companies (previous year: seven out of ten) intend to invest the same or more in communication (PR, advertising, marketing) in 2010 than in 2009.

6 to 10 percent for PR
The isolated communication index for public relations reaches a value of 75 and is therefore, as in the previous year, significantly higher than the overall index. More than half (55 percent) of the 500 largest Swiss companies invest between 4 and 20 percent of their communications budget in PR. The most frequently cited figure is 6 to 10 percent. However, one in ten companies invests 31 percent or more in PR.
The Farner Communication Index is based on a representative survey conducted by the market research institute Isopublic and is compiled once a year on behalf of Farner Consulting.
