Poster campaign: Defining the face of Switzerland with APG

Christa Markwalder’s eyes combined with Toni Brunner’s mouth, Ueli Leuenberger’s hairstyle, and Ursula Wyss’s chin—the result is a playful, never-before-seen political figure. The APG campaign aims to encourage the Swiss public to vote.

What if Toni Brunner (SVP) suddenly joined forces with Ursula Wyss (SP) to abolish the army? Or if Fulvio Pelli (FDP) and Ueli Leuenberger (Greens) campaigned for a rapid nuclear phase-out? Just like in folding books from childhood, APG reassembles the faces of candidates.

If you take a photo of one of these posters with the Poster Plus app on your smartphone, you can put together your own picture of a politician - and post it on Facebook or Twitter. You can find out which faces are hiding behind the campaign at Apg.ch.

Responsible at APG: Beat Holenstein, Slavica Lecic (Head of Communications Strategy). Concept and implementation: Balz Steiger, Mirjam Köllner (Core AG Design Works), Erich Baumgartner. (Brandpilot Markenberatung), Rebecca Grzesik (Creative Consultant).

Communicator of the month: NZZ Folio

NZZ-Folio was named "Communicator of the Month" for June by Schweizer Werbung SW.

Compared to the "old aunt", the NZZ Folio, with its tender 20 years, which it will be in August, is of course a youngster, writes SW in a press release. And the almost 230-year-old Neue Zürcher Zeitung is not actually its aunt, but rather something like the mother of the "Folio" or the midwife. But this is not about birthdays, otherwise the Handelszeitung would of course also be mentioned. And the Schaffhauser Nachrichten, both of which are turning 150 this year, for which congratulations should of course still be offered on this "occasion". And because we are already there, we would also like to congratulate the young NZZ Folio on its milestone birthday, SW continues. At the same time, it was named Communicator of the Month for June. This is because the publication shows that young people also have depth and quality. And that young people - this may be the advantage of youth - often communicate this depth in a fresher, more surprising and more carefree way. Just look at the Editorial of the June issue an.

Valencia: Design for "Feldschlösschen Sélection" realized

Feldschlösschen created its own line of traditional specialty beers. Valencia Kommunikation was entrusted with designing the new bottle labels and outer packaging.

In order to emphasize more strongly the more than 135 years of brewing experience of the Rheinfeld-based beer manufacturer, the Feldschlösschen specialties "Hopfenperle," "Dunkle Perle" and the new "Amber" will become part of the new "Feldschlösschen Sélection" line, according to a statement. Valencia Kommunikation created a label design with a high proportion of images, which, with its traditional feel, is intended to convey the art of brewing in the best possible way.

The label was designed individually for each beer: In the background, the castle refers to the authentic origin; in the foreground, an element characteristic of the corresponding beer is depicted: Hop cones, barley ears and - in the case of the oak-aged "Amber" - an oak branch. Feldschlösschen Sélection is available in 33 and 50 cl bottles and 33 cl cans (only Hopfenperle) in retail stores and restaurants.
