Goldbach Interactive makes Schwiizer Wuche known at McDonald's

McDonald's "Schwiizer Wuche" is taking restaurants by storm with the McRaclette, McZüri, and McGrillschnägg. Goldbach Interactive implemented the online campaign for the three burgers using rich media banners, a landing page, and a Facebook tab.

For six weeks, the Swiss Pracht burgers are alternately the stars in McDonald's restaurants. Rich media banners in German, French and Italian are designed to whet the appetite for McRaclette, McZüri and McGrillschnägg throughout Switzerland. The special feature of the banners is the "Grüezi generator", with which users can send their friends a "Grüezi" with a personal message in line with the campaign idea "Schwiizer Wuche - everything a bit more rural".

The display advertising media are rich media banners in which the user can directly enter the message, sender and addressee. The recipient then receives an e-mail with a link and can pick up the greeting text addressed to him on the Schwiizer Wuche landing page.

Goldbach Interactive designed and implemented the Grüezi Generator campaign. The online campaign accompanies the TV spots and print measures implemented by TWBA. OMD handled the media planning, Mediamind was responsible for the distribution of the banners.

Jung von Matt/Limmat helps small mountain village to fame

Three weeks ago, it was still quiet in the Graubünden mountain village of Obermutten. The settlement with only 80 inhabitants was hardly known. Today, over 50 million people around the globe have heard or read about Obermutten.

The media in more than 20 countries reported on the village. In South Korea, Obermutten even made it onto the main news program.

Everything began on Facebook with a newly launched page for the village. In a first video post on the page, the village president made an unusual promise: Anyone who clicks "like" will have their profile picture added to the official village bulletin board. It didn't take long and the village bulletin board was plastered with fans. To cope with the rush of fan requests, they moved to barn walls in the village. In the meantime, the community has grown to over 7,500 fans. At regular intervals, pictures are posted with the hung profile pictures of the new fans, who can find and tag themselves there.

Behind this sudden fame of the small mountain village is a campaign by Graubünden Ferien in collaboration with Jung von Matt/Limmat. With the campaign "Obermutten", Graubünden stages one of its pearls in an exemplary way for many mountain villages and makes clear: Graubünden has small and charming vacation resorts where a personal relationship with the guests still counts for something.

Responsible at Graubünden Ferien: Gaudenz Thoma (CEO), Gieri Spescha (Head of Corporate Communication), Mike Frei (Brand Management). Responsible at Jung von Matt/Limmat: Livio Dainese, Fernando Perez (CD), Samuel Christ, Alain Eicher (Text), Cyrill Hauser (Public Relations & Consulting) Maurus Zehnder (AD), Laura Grümann, Bettina Veith (Graphics), Erasmo Palomba (Art Buying), Jyri Pasanen (Camera).

Scholz & Friends: Job title ironically overdone for Axel Springer

Axel Springer is launching an employer branding campaign. Eight ad designs will appear in the media company’s print and online publications starting October 19, 2011. The campaign was developed and implemented by Scholz & Friends.

In the campaign, job titles from the digital community are ironically exaggerated and transferred to the real job positions of the various employees. For example, the deputy editor-in-chief of Bild, Michael Paustian, can be seen as "Deputy Editor-in-Chief with Bling-Bling Expertise for In-Your-Face Journalistic Rioting". Simone Loesch, Senior Manager Digital Marketing, is presented as "Senior Manager Digital Marketing with Boyakasha Electronic Beats for Top-Strike Media Impacting".

The Media Entrepreneurs initiative, which was launched on September 16, 2011 and is aimed at the target group of the digital community, is already aligned with the employer brand. The broader campaign that now follows makes it clear that Axel Springer offers appropriate development opportunities for a wide range of professional fields, according to a press release. For the first time, the new image addresses all applicant target groups in a uniform manner. It was developed by Axel Springer's Human Resources and Corporate Communications departments. The idea for the campaign and the design implementation came from the agency Scholz & Friends.

Last but not least: Funny little Facebook satire

The German radio station Das Ding has produced a satirical video about Facebook. In it, Philipp from Facebook Germany explains the new functions of the social network.

As a chat bar is clearly not enough, there is now also a photo bar, a popular article bar, a porn bar, a weather bar and a bar that organizes all the others. In addition, a "Like" button is not nearly enough to express human feelings - users can now choose between 150 options. The "Swap your identity" tag has also been launched: To bring the Facebook community even closer together, a profile is randomly assigned to another profile - the user's own status messages then appear on another profile and vice versa.

You can see what else is new in the following video - which, although the topic is becoming a bit hackneyed, has a certain humor to it.
