ictjobs.ch and medienjobs.ch are reinventing recruitment
The Swiss job platforms ictjobs.ch and medienjobs.ch have redesigned their websites and are simultaneously introducing several new features designed to simplify recruiting and job searches. Companies can now embed corporate videos directly into their job postings, include a brief company profile, and highlight their employee benefits. Improved search filters are designed to make it even easier for suitable candidates to find job postings.
Videos as a Key Element of Job Postings
According to platform operators, corporate videos in particular play an important role in job postings. They can, for example, bring the company culture and the team to life. In addition, videos boost the visibility of job postings in search engines—an argument that is becoming increasingly important in the highly competitive market for skilled workers.
Skill Matching and Targeted Reach in the Professional Field
Job postings on ictjobs.ch and medienjobs.ch appear across a broad network of Swiss media outlets and platforms specializing in specific fields, ensuring they reach the right professional audience. In addition, the platforms match each job opening with a pool of more than 3,500 (ictjobs.ch) and more than 8,000 (medienjobs.ch) profiles of active and passive job seekers and send the job posting via email to suitable candidates.
Those who want to further increase their reach in a targeted way can use additional promotional tools—including newsletter campaigns in IT trade publications, newsletter ads in the trade magazine «m&k,» or social media campaigns on Meta or Reddit.
Job seekers can sign up for a free, personalized job alert on both platforms and create an online resume that allows them to apply for selected positions without a cover letter.
